The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving African food

I came across this restaurant today me and my mum were hungry. So went in and ordered a take away. We ordered Injera, with 3 type lamb meat with Veg. Upon reaching home and opened the food, I was disgusted by what I saw. The Lamb had hardly any stew, it looked like they had scrapped the barrel and just binged what was left over, the vegetable looked all missed up, the Injera tasted like a packet of Malt was thrown on it. I immediately called the restaurant to complain the first lady who answered claimed she could not understand me, I was passed over to a man, I complained about the contents of the food. He offered to refund my money however it would mean given my bank details which I did not feel comfortable with. It was not even clear if he was that bothered. I will never venture here again ever! It was clear they did not have the food we selected but greed made them scrape the barrel and charge 13.95 for disgusting food. I think they felt we had not eaten the food and thought they could get away with serving rubbish. Wrong. All you did was ensure I never visited the place ever again. My mum could not eat her food, I just threw mine away Yuk! Absolute. Disgrace.

Avoid with a barge poll, they are completely run down and can’t afford to pay their invoices!!

I haven't been into the restaurant yet, but I'm glad that I can get african food that is great and worth the money

We lunched at Nando's on the 3rd April. We were superbly looked after by Sam who realised he was dealing with the elderly! He offered help with their online menu system and returned several times to check everything was ok. Truly, service with a smile on top of which the food was delicious. Dine in and enjoy.

Pedimos esto directamente a nandos - verde madera. El pollo parecía como si fuera una pieza vieja o se había vuelto a calentar un par de veces. La ensalada de col sabía mal. No vuelvas a pedir desde esta sucursal.

Lovely restaurant, with the added bonus of a car park. Three of us had lunch here today; staff were, as always, helpful and friendly. I just wish we had a Nandos in Torquay and I didn't have to travel 25 + miles each time I wanted to eat there.

Recientemente visité este café con un grupo de colegas y me fui sintiéndome bastante agobiado. En primer lugar, ten en cuenta que no aceptan pagos con tarjeta, solo es efectivo o transferencia bancaria, lo que era inconveniente en esta época. La mayoría de mis colegas pidieron el desayuno halal, y aunque todos parecieron disfrutarlo, solo estaba de humor para un tentempié ligero. Opté por queso en tostadas con una Coca-Cola Dietética. Desafortunadamente, desde el momento en que nos sentamos, la experiencia fue menos que hospitalaria. La camarera tenía un comportamiento más matriarcal, diciéndonos enérgicamente que “esperemos en su mesa, y yo le serviré”, sin ninguna calidez o cortesía real. Cuando mi comida llegó, me sirvieron cuatro pequeños triángulos de tostadas con una cantidad muy tacaña de queso, apenas suficiente para cubrir la tostada. ¡No pude evitar preguntarme si había escasez de queso! Aun así, decidí no quejarme y empecé a comer. Después de terminar una porción, me di cuenta de que mi bebida no había llegado. Subí al mostrador para pedirlo, solo para que me dijeran: “Oh, está en la nevera”, como si se supusiera que lo supiera por mi cuenta. En este punto, el servicio ya estaba dejando mucho que desear, pero yo lo logré. Para colmo, cuando fui a pagar, me sorprendió que me cobraran £ 6. 45 – para dos rebanadas muy básicas de tostadas con apenas – allí queso y un £ 1. 80 “Diet Coke” (que resultó ser una Salaam Cola en su lugar). Teniendo en cuenta la calidad de la comida, la falta de servicio y la experiencia general, esto fue impactante. Huelga decir que no volveré, y ciertamente no recomendaré este lugar a otros. 45 porque lo que recibí fue nada menos que robo a la luz del día.

The food was really delicious . Ordered via Deliveroo and arrived earlier than time expected . I ordered the Asun, amala and Gbegiri . My eyes crossed at first bite … Truly delicious . Well done to the cook

I am not going to lie do not remember much how the food tasted, I know the prawns were on point and the chips. We went for a bottomless brunch, I could not finish my 4th drink, the drinks are strong which is good because other places water it down. It was fun, I will try to go back again. The staff were also nice. The food did take a while but we were a group of like 15 people. I will go back again.

The service is really good and food is delicious.

Parmo was lovely as usual shame use have changed the coleslaw and sauce 😞

Food was good but on cold days it's really cold for some reason and sometimes if you ask for medium it seems a bit less. They also don't give out glasses for tap water unless asked which is a bit annoying and would be more professional to have some glasses when they give platters out.
