Papi's Grill in Lewisham

I am not going to lie do not remember much how the food tasted, I know the prawns were on point and the chips. We went for a bottomless brunch, I could not finish my 4th drink, the drinks are strong which is good because other places water it down. It was fun, I will try to go back again. The staff were also nice. The food did take a while but we were a group of like 15 people. I will go back again.

That was my third visit but I am so surprised that the food was not as tasty as before. The taste has really dropped. I ordered fish and Suya. Both food are not tasty at all. They need to improve on their cooking as they first started. Thank you.

Excellent!!!! The quality of the food was top notch, premium beef, and very delish spare ribs & Seafood Pasta dish. Also had take-away Seafood Broil which was so tasty. The portion sizes were also very good. Ambience was excellent and the staff were exceptionally courteous and professional. Will certainly recommend and visit again.

It took over and hour just to be seated. Service is very slow and people gave up and left . Once seated , service is slow . The place focuses on more on the aesthetics, than the quality of food . The food was numbing salty . The SUYA was the only good . Drinks and not made , is a shop pre mixed poured and given . I was so disappointed to wait so long for very salty food . I couldn’t finish my meal .

A great surprise. We were wandering around the neighbourhood after an event at Goldsmith's and found Papi's. It is a gem. I have had Suya in a number of places, including Nigeria, and this is the best I have ever had. The Suya chicken was a work of culinary art; succulent and perfectly. spiced. The ribs were meaty, falling off the bone and flavourful. The decor was minimalist and welcoming, The service was personal, and really fast. This really was a great experience, certainly one of the best meals out I have had in a really long time.
