Delicious and piping hot as usual. You can see the food is made with love. High quality presentation, wrapped so no spillages, and genuine care for the food they’re serving. Wanted to save some for lunch tomorrow but I couldn’t help myself I annihilated x3 chicken drumsticks (I added extra chicken) and Jollof rice 😂🤣

This was a random search for an African restaurant. The lady that runs the place is is very hospitable. I've always wanted to taste Nigerian food and she guided me to right dish. I had Egusi, which was certainly mouth-watering good. Highly recommended and looking forward to the next meal.

The woman is amazing and the food is great

The food was piping hot, couldn’t keep it on my lap yes that hot. Delicious and tasted so fresh. I had the Eforiro with pounded yam and added extra beef and added another pounded yam. The portion was filling, there wasn’t really a need for the extra pounded yam I ordered but I ate it anyways cause it was so good. Meat was tender and juicy full of flavour. Will definitely order again. Only downside is you are not open all the time. 10/10

I am new in the Country and having only arrived here recently l appreciate having found this restaurant close to my home. The food is yummy, the service is great and I felt at home with the kind of reception I got from the Owner of the place. The atmosphere is heavenly. I love love love it

First of all the lady running this place is incredible. So helpful and takes time to explain what all the dishes are. I’ve tried my fair share of Nigerian food. But this place is by far the most authentic place I’ve been too. I had the eforiro soup. The flavours and spices were incredible. I had this with the pounded yam. The lady was so amazing we spoke for a while and she even gave me tips as always make the pounded yam too runny. Cannot recommend this place higher. Come for the food. Stay for the company :) thanks again.

I was looking for a restaurant in Ipswich that makes Jelof rice and honestly so happy to have found this page. I was not disappointed. The food is mouth watering and tasty. the puff puff (oh myyyy goossshhhhhh) don’t get me started on how soft and delicious those are. The Egusi…. Mmmmmmm so yummy. I will definitely be ordering again when I am next around.

Well, I was actually just passing asked for advice as new customer ,so after a sentence for advice 2 rice and stew ordered, only to hear that microwave going made me wonder wth ,I knew just go cancel and go but partner said give the benefit of the doubt 🧐🤨 asked is this not freshly cooked long pause and points to the pot. Well, not eating this if I lived in town I would have returned it how can chicken and rice be so hard nowadays would have loved to have this as a option for recommendations but safe to say 26 GBP it's 2 hours work for some people just to get below standard rice and magic meat in a microwave plate . Inflation ain't that bad. To be heated in the fully working kitchen with I assume a fully working cooker and charge so much very confusing disappointed

Delicious food and friendly service. Making the order was such a drawn out process we wondered how the business could ever make money, and payment is bacs only. A faff, but the food is so good I’m actually really glad to have their deets in my banking app! Will definitely be getting dinner from there again.

Formidable secret red sauce chicken drum sticks with generous helpings of jolof rice and equally generous hospitality from our host. Great night out! Recommend the Mackrell with Yam and or Pumpkin sauce with meats.

I called this company today at 13:39 and I was asked to check menu on WhatsApp and I chose from the catalog two items fish stew and fried rice and called the restaurant to ask the price and total as the fried rice did not display a price. I was shocked by the response I received, this person started shouting at me that she did not have time for and I was causing her confusion and confusion n the end cut the call on me before I could finish explaining. She was rude nasty and horrible and am warning people to be on guard and expect poor customer service. People like this should not be allowed to own any facility where they interact with customers no courtesy whatsoever.

Very good food and excellent services. I was having a family get together over for NYE and ordered the food the day before. I had never used the services. The staff at D'sauce were amazing in under 24 hours they delivered a lovely selection of food, surpassed my expectations. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and it was the highlight of the night. Very lovely authentic food! Thank you D'sauce Afro-Kitchen.

I ordered the Jollof rice and red stew and honestly it was so delicious! The portion size was definitely worth the money and service was 10/10! I went yesterday evening and the lady was super friendly 😊. I only eat halal meat so it was nice to know that the beef and chicken is halal :-) .... Thank you! 💚

I phone the restaurant prior to make order for certain collection time. I arrived and food was ready and literally got a fork to eat straight and I wasn’t disappointed! Yeah for jollof rice with stew chicken and plantain and it was sooo tasty

D'sauce delivered 6 dozen individually packed jollof and fried rice for a reception. The food tasted yummy, she was on time to the venue. Will definitely be using her services next time.

This is first-class Nigerian food. The dishes are clean, fresh, and tasty. I have had the jollof rice and fried plantain twice, and the grilled fish once. Both dishes were excellent.

Great service followed by amazing food. If you think the pictures look good I can confirm it taste even better.

3 times i visited this place at different times and it said open but all lights off and locked. Very disapointed and wont be visiting this place from now on.

Lovely Nigerian food. Full of flavours. Friendly owner who is enthusiastic about sharing the details of each dish. Unlike a lot of Indian restaurants in the town, she understands the difference between spice and heat and don't just throw some chopped chillies to make a bland dish palatable. Highly recommended if you love tasting different types of cuisine. One of our favourites.

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care and zero professionalism of this restaurant. The resturant is on delivery woo but when you place an order the order is rejected 2 hours later. I contacted customer service via the phone number on the restaurants website and the lady told me they are no longer on delivery woo. She told me I could send my order via what’s app. I did so immediately and then she disappeared from what’s app from 3pm til 11pm when she now just sent an apology saying Covid 19 is affecting their business. How does Covid 19 stop you from communicating with a customer about an order they placed? Upon letting her know my disappointment she didn’t respond. The whole point of ordering a take away is to have it delivered to you. If for any reason they can’t meet the demand of orders honesty is the best policy. I’m an advocate of supporting African businesses but poor service is poor service. Please do better! P/s I have still never heard from the lady and no one bothered to rectify the issue about that order.

What a great place 6 out of 5 stars 1🙂. We were made to feel really special. The food is great and the lady lovely. We tried things you can't get anywhere else and if we lived closer ie not 200 miles way I would see if I could help out so I could learn to cook these dishes and learn about African food which is so under represented in restaurants everywhere. It's healthy too!

Planned a long day outing to the town. This was no 1 choice. Advertised as open Tuesday 30/7 13.00. Still closed at 14.00. Disappointed.

I've had better Nigerian food. Told chicken was hard chicken but got chicken sold in asda/Tesco. Hardly no meet. Rice full of curry.

Highly recommended. High quality, tasty food at a reasonable price. A chance to try the flavours of West Africa if you don't know them, or to get some good home cooking if you are West African. A lovely surprise to discover this in Ipswich.
