Went in, they ran out of halloumi sticks, as expected I feel to my knees right there and then, however this was quickly remediated by the offer of free ice cream. Incredible service. The ice kinda kills my vibe, trying to drink and all of a sudden my teeth are frozen, and i’m in extreme dental pain. The nando’s salt chips are crazy, let’s just say I am feining for more!! Not really got much else to say… *mic drops*

Terrible food at Nandos Silverburn it has went right downhill. Food chicken burger was cold & like rubber & chips cold & reheated all you could taste was the dirty oil. I will definetly not be going back. The table next to us had the same problem.

Have to agree with the other reviews here. The service is appalling. You’re waiting over an hour for your food to arrive. The manager has some amount of cheek (and to top it all off, can’t even get it correct when he’s trying to be smart). Avoid like the plague. Currently trying to get the regional manager to sort things but stock standard answers of trying to avoid blame and denying things that happened.

UPDATE: Once again, let down massively by this venue. I'm not even kidding when I say this place was empty, but was told there was a 30 min wait on a seat... On a Tuesday... at 8pm... We were literally faster driving to Blythswood Sq, walking down to Sauchiehall St and getting a table there. I just really don't understand it. When I say there were 15 tables in at the time I could be over exaggerating. And what makes it more of a kick in the teeth is that there are staff stood doing nothing and scrolling on their phones. I would completely understand if it looked like the place is under staffed and was struggling, but its not. Its appalling service to say the less and I'd expect better from a massive company like Nandos.

I've been to many Nandos restaurants in the UK and South Africa and was looking forward to my first trip to Silverburn mall however this particular branch of Nandos at Silverburn is the first one which did not impress me much. Firstly the welcome wasn't great, I mean I don't expect to be welcomed by a red carpet or the like but management really need to teach the staff that saying to customers "I'll be with you in a moment" and keeping them waiting while they are busy with some other chore is just not acceptable. Especially in a so called fast food joint like Nandos and particularly when the tables are not full. Secondly and more importantly the food was cold. It was tasty enough which is the reason we like Nandos but it was cold. Cold chicken and cold chips. Having read some of the reviews cold food seems to be a recurring problem. In my opinion this stems from bad management. I definitely won't be back!

My little girl wanted nandos as a treat, stopped here. A sullen, fed up looking waitress greeted us and asked to come back after 20mins, despite the restaurant being at least 2/3 empty. Also a bit annoyed to see people behind us seated immediately, apparently "familys" (her words) are ok but groups of two aren't. Asked my phone number to text us when the table was ready, the text never came.

I recently went to this Nando’s with a big group and I would just like to say the service was amazing and fast, also a special shout out to molly (she had a white and blue top on) she made sure we had everything we needed and went that extra mile when serving, it’s so refreshing to have such a happy and outgoing person helping you out and taking time to make sure everything’s okay and if we need anything.

Sorry but may I offer some constructive criticism, this Nando’s must be one of the worst Nando’s in the world 🌍, I have eaten in Nando’s in many different countries but your food is quite bad, if you don’t get an audit done ✅ you will be out of business and drag the good name of Nando’s down with you, across the board it is unbelievably bad.

Had a really lovely meal here for me and my boyfriend's anniversary. Ewan was incredibly helpful last night with serving us, even chatting to us whilst taking our plates etc. Incredibly polite and helpful even though the restaurant was super busy. Commendable customer service, and very tasty food.

Hi I just love everything about Nando’s!! Lady night another brilliant experience. Lovely young man greeting us when we arrived. Very friendly and helpful. Great food as ever I had the sunset burger … amazing. Very fresh and hot in temperature too. Naomi ( another great staff member)our serving waitress us telling about order on line … how convenient but alas we have a nut allergy so need to order in house. I ordered a meal today to takeaway and when Ithing in it apart from the burnt burger no salad no halloumi which I paid extra for no sauce. I was seated infront of the kitchen waiting for my order and omg I was shocked to see how unorganised the kitchen was and the mess. Staff really can’t be bothered.wont be ever going to nandos sliverburn again avoid !!!!

Chicken was not marinated at tasting bland. Young guy who just slammed plate on table 1/4 chips fell to table, never apologised or said sorry. Food under cooked await over 40mins get served. Coke was very watery, Its ahame nandos making money offering watery drink customers. Very poor and disapointing service over all.

Visited last night and although the food was really nice it was so cold it wasn't an enjoyable experience.I asked if we could move and although there were quite a few empty tables we were told we couldn't.The man at the next table asked to move for the same reason and he was taken to another table.Staff were good apart from the greeter who looked very glum.Will probably not go back to this restaurant unless it's a warm day.It wasn't the food that was cold it was the restaurant the food was very good

Whilst shopping in Silverburn we popped in to Nando's for Lunch. Service was prompt and we did not wait that long for our order given how busy it was! My Burger was well presented, warm and tasty however my wife was not impressed with her Quesadilla, as it was thrown together. Over all had worse, the young staff could do with a personality transplant and the bill was not cheap either for the privilege!

Despite restaurant being two thirds empty we were told minimum wait 25 mins, Not wishing to disappoint my granddaughters I agreed to wait. Bad bad decision Overpriced & overcooked! 2 chicken breasts? Must have been a newborn chick! Bone dry, dry chips dusted with spice to produce some flavour. Garlic bread was OK. Fizzy drinks are a rip off, even if the mix was correct it’s still a rip off, but this was on a new level, cola and Fanta almost as clear as 7up. Noticing the amount of food other diners had left I decided not to eat, my granddaughters food was awful, I ordered them some desserts which were served while 3 plates of half eaten food still on the table. Just as I was about to clear the table a staff member noticed and she cleared them. £70 for 3 very poor meals and 3 disappointed youngsters. NEVER AGAIN

I came here on Friday 7th July with my partner for dinner. Food itself was amazing, but the member of staff who served our food was quite rude. As soon as she reached the table of me and my partner, she turned to my partner not acknowledging me and said, “Is this for her?”, quite cheekily and knocked the plates down on the table.

Took my 8 Yr old for 1st time, went to counter and ordered mine then said my wee boy wants a plain chicken wrap with chips, didn't realise till after that I was charged for adult! About £15 for a small wrap cut in half and chips, the wrap was also spicy my son was struggling to eat it but was told thats the standard chicken for the wraps which i wasn't told. All I got was an apology and told they don't do kids wraps, again why wasn't I told this at the counter! My sons meal was dearer than my own. Expensive trip Lesson learned

Warning to everyone who’s ordered and take out to PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THE PREMISES. Happened to me TWO times in a row they didn’t put our food in the bag!! First was 25 april 2023, ordered 2 set nandinos and 1/2 chicken, went home and realized they didn’t put 2 juices & 1 corn. It was quite late night so i said ok not worth it to go back. Again went today 3th May 2023, literally 1 weeks gap, ordered 1/2 chicken and 1 set nandino. This time before i left and the girls who is prepared putting the food i. The bag, i told her dont forget the juice. She check the bill and grab the juice. I didn’t check the rest of the bag because all wrapped in thw box. Went home, and realized they didn’t put the chicken fillet the main course for nandino set.!!! Very disappointing. The management really need to check and required staff training again prior to this.

All the waiters and waitresses are nice and talkative. I’ve tried most things on the menu as I have been her many times and never get bored. It is mainly a chicken restaurant and I feel as though there were still plenty of Vegetarian options. The free refills are amazing as there’s nothing better than to know you have an endless supply of Diet Coke. Prices are decent and I know I’ll be back.

I love nandos but will never come back to this one. I order my normal double chicken pita and sides. When it came. The chicken was sliced up and looked weird. Like wet and a bit pinkish in the middle and it wasnt the sauce. I was 7 months pregnant so there was no way i was taking a chance as i felt it wasnt cooked right. When i sent it back the manager came over to say this is how the chicken is now done in the pita and it was cooked but he would have it remade for me. So we waited when it came back it was only one chicken breast and after all this i was put off. No one even came back to check after this. I have since been to other nandos and they dont cut the chicken into slices like that.

This isn’t the first time we’ve visited, every previous visit of ours was great, we had high expectations for today, but we were disappointed. First, the food took more than 30 minutes to arrive, secondly, The food itself was of poor standard. The garlic bread was not cooked and cold and the bread for the kid’s burger was stale. In fact, a few others were also complaining about the food/service today. I’d usually give this restaurant a five star but today just wasn’t it.

NOT for VEGETARIANS or VEGANS !!! Stopped by on Saturday 27th August for lunch, my partner ordered a burger and I ordered 4 sides as I’m vegetarian. We explained the 4 sides were for a vegetarian so should be separate from the burger. After a painstaking wait, a waitress brought out a burger with all 4 sides squeezed up against it, with my garlic bread actually touching the burger meat. We explained the problem, she looked like she really didn’t care but would take it back to the kitchen, I stressed that she was not to bring me they exact 4 sides back to me(pretending they were re-made) as is a common trick. I watched her as she took the plate with the burger and 4 sides to her manager, she started to shrug her shoulders to him, as if to say “what’s the problem?” The problem which I had clearly explained to her 5.8 seconds earlier. The manager then approached our table at which time I pointed out these sides are marked as “V” and “VG” on the menu, yet are brushed against meat ??? He had little interest or respect for the problem. He stated they would be re-made. After what we had already experienced, it was highly unlikely basic standards of separating foods would happen, we asked for a refund and set off for a proper restaurant. Also we noticed the staff were all very young, except for the manager, which adds to very poor service/long waiting times/multiple staff having drinks at the self service machine when customers were sitting waiting to be served. Definitely won’t be back.

I have tried on multiple occasions, different times, different days since the end of the last lockdown (April 2021) and have been unable to get into Nando’s silverburn as there is ALWAYS a minimum wait of 15+ minutes? Today I went. There was at least 7, maybe 8 empty tables and yet still no space. 8 empty tables and a 15 minute wait? I don’t get how since April last year this Nando’s has been THAT busy I am unable to get a seat when there is plenty of empty seats

I’m a regular customer of Nando’s, maybe once a week, and I have been going to Nando’s in silverburn for about 10 years now, what I can tell you is this particular Nando’s is going downhill. Tonight’s 1 hour wait to get a seat when the restaurant is 2/3 empty really annoyed me, while Wagamama and Fridays will take you in straight away while their restaurant is mobbed, it’s almost like this particular restaurant doesn’t want to make food or make money. Also had a few bad take away experiences in the past months, fair enough I have been reimbursed, but it should be like that. I love Nando’s , but this one in silver burn doesn’t want my business I am afraid. I will no be coming back to this one in the future, I’d rather just go to EK.

Ok. How should I start, as I felt I was in a comedy movie. Skip the part with scanning the qr code to reserve a table, because I've got it: it's covid, less staff, pressure on the kitchen etc. We were greeted and escorted to our table, which was ok, but the comedy starts now. The hostess forgot to tell us that we have to scan the qr code to access the menu and to order. After waiting for 10 minutes not knowing what is the new restaurant policy, we have asked a staff how we can order, so the waitress politely told us to scan the code on the table, to accessthe menu and order. She asked for allergies, and my wife told them yes, seafood only. She stopped and told us that she will call a manager and we cannot order through the App. I was in my mind like aaaaaa....do you have seafood in your menu and I don't know, but nevermind, I was accepting the policy. I have counted the staff. 7 on the floor and 2 at the hostess desk, restaurant half busy, manager nowhere, so we have decided to scan the app to order, but we couldn't place it as we were marked with allergies I assume. Finally the manager came, took the order and I have asked if they serve seafood or seafood traces in their food. She says No, this is the policy, a manager needs to take the order for people with allergies, so practically she took the order and left, doing nothing else than the App or what any other served would have done. Doesn't matter that I have asked for spicy chips and they came plain, and the spices were brought to the table in a plastic container, souce on the wings was dry, burned or not existant, but nevermind, when you are hungry you are hungry :)))) I work in hospitality also, I completly understand that mistakes can happen, long hour shifts can be exhausting, no weekends or holidays, but this was a joke: scan not scan, manager will come or will not come, order do not order. PS. Chairs were dirty, so keep an eye on them, and the young lad who refilled our drinks was very polite and tried hard to do his job.

Been twice recently now. The first time at the start of Jan, it took a long time to get served. I thought this was hopefully a one off, but no. Second visit in the last 4 weeks and again took ages to get served. When the food did eventually arrive, it was wrong. Staff are pleasant, but if it’s always like this, it would be handy to be told prior to being seated, that there is a long delay until you get food. Then I would of went elsewhere. Either we have just been unlucky twice now, or the kitchen can’t handle feeding the seating capacity, when it gets busier.

My wife bribes me with a Nandos if I take her shopping at Silverburn. I hate shopping centres, but I concede for peri-peri chicken. Staff are very nice, food is worth being taken shopping (did I mention I hate shopping). Only negative is the people on the next table are almost sitting on your knee.

As someone with allergies it is hard to find a place that really goes out of their way to help you and make sure you get a good meal and don't end up Ill. Nandos silverburn staff really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me and I had no cross contamination problems! The manager actually stood over the staff while my meal was being prepared to make sure the grill was scrubbed free of containments & that nothing came into contact with my food that could make me Ill. She also double checked all the sauces to show me what ones were safe for me to use. We were told there was a 25 minute wait for food but it was so much faster. All the staff were really friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Food was tasty and served in a reasonable time . Staff were cheery, friendly and offered help with the menu if we needed it .Part of our order was a kid's meal of chicken burger , chips , sweet potato mash and a glass of milk , this was a good sized portion. The burger is actually a good sized chicken fillet with a slice of tomato and lettuce in a brioche bun .

Food was good but service was pretty poor, I was still chewing my food when my plates were taken away (staff hadn't bothered about me throughout my 40 minute food wait when the place was empty, staff literally floating about taking one tables food out at a time) £17.50 to sit and watch groups people who ordered after me get their food before me 💔

Greeted warmly by a young looking male with funny logo on his tee shirt that made me smile. He was pleasant as were all other staff during our visit. Tables all pretty close to each other but in the middle of a busy shopping centre so not enough to be overheard by other diners. Food really good quality, well presented and delicious. Prices great too. Must collect own cutlery and condiments, but two starters, two mains with two sides each and two juices you can refill as required £33 - Nandos we will return!

Dined in yesterday and had probably one of the worst food experiences to date eating in a restaurant. Ordered the jollof rice with beef and was seated at a table that appeared to have not been wiped down properly. It was a cold night and was really raining outside so was pretty soaked. The restaurant was stone cold with no heaters on to my dismay. Food arrived promptly but had noticed something off about the rice and quickly realised it was gone off. I then complained of the smell and the taste as it was sour and clearly gone bad to the host who proceeded to use a spare knife in front of me to taste the foul rice for himself. I was actually quite shocked by this as you can imagine. After realising I was in fact right he whisked my plate away to come back some minutes later with a fresh plate, and explained that it was a gone off ball of fresh pepper that was added to the rice not the batch itself. I find it very hard to believe anyone can cook with ‘fresh’ ingredients and not notice when they are spoilt and have never experienced anything like this. This second plate was without the spoilt taste , however was completely lacking in any flavour the rice just tasted of salt no seasoning or typical jollof flavour and the beef stew tasted like a gravy you would put on a cheap Sunday roast. Nothing Nigerian or authentic about the food here at all. I honestly would have refused to pay for the main however I had read a review of a woman below who had a another negative experience who was locked inside of the restaurant so paid my bill and have made a mental note to never come back. They should really close this place down.

Poor customer care , ordered the main meal and hot drinks however was harshly told no hot drinks could be served because the guy at front desk could only attend at customers as he was the only one at front desk , makes me wonder if there was no chef at all in kitchen who could make tea or coffee. They need to work on their customer care , communication skills and put people who are friendly at front desk .
