The best restaurants serving Vegetarian food in South West

This is one of the most amazing places to eat in Dorset. Fantastic food, great owners a true, fabulous gem of home cooked foods. The cakes are fantastic.

This restaurant is AMAZING, the food was so scrummy I ordered the same meal as a takeaway for dinner x 2. The food is fresh and so tasty and excellent value for money. The service was extremely friendly, so helpful too : ) I was so impressed I wanted to share how great it is with everyone. Thankyou guys for a delicious experience. Penny M.

First visit to this fabulous place in 2025, and in fact, their first day open! Very friendly staff, excellent speedy service, and delicious food. Always the best in town!!

Daily good food and super price and always friendly service

I had dinner and also the Sunday roast which were both fab. The food was soo good and they can make anything vegan; the service was great, super nice people and everything with a warm smile!

Minestrone soup was absolutely superb! So tasty, made with fresh veg and perfect seasoning. Sourdough toast on the side was also impressively good. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch xx

I can’t remark on the meal as my friend and I didn’t stay. I found Pea Souk on the website and we were looking forward to trying it out! We walked through the door and went to sit at the window table which was an EMPTY communal table that would sit 6-8 people. Despite the table being empty the waitress/owner? Indicated that we could only sit opposite each other however one side only had a bench seat and as my friend and I are elderly with back problems we wanted to sit beside each other so that we had a backrest. We explained this and we were greeted with tuts, sighs and raised eyebrows so following this awful reception we left. Only try this place if you don’t mind doing exactly as you are told by an unpleasant woman who doesn’t deserve custom.

Lovely brunch experience. Had the Eggs Florentine … cooked perfectly. Wonderful staff, reasonable price & great Chai.

First visit for a long while and was looking forward to it but when the cake is so obviously stale it should be disposed of. No complaints with the coffee but at the risk of repeating myself, the coffee and walnut cake was disgraceful.

Brilliant little cafe. Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Can sit inside in nice light airy room or outside in the little courtyard. Reasonable prices and a good selection of fresh vegetarian food. 5 star for me

Lots of space to sit in Screen 4, with small tables where you can put your drink. I don't mind people eating during the adverts and trailers, but, please, not during the film! (Unless you can be really quiet!) The loos are smelly and the reason is almost certainly because the urinals do not flush. They have a disc in place which they think will remove odour but they don't work. Automatic flushing is normally used for urinals, but this wastes water. Much better if a manual flush could be provided.

Excelente comida y café. Es una delicia comer donde no hay carne en las instalaciones. El personal era amable y me mostró las opciones veganas de las cuales había varias. Me encantó el chocolate caliente con leche de avena.

I wouldn’t mind it being so overpriced if the service were friendly. The Scottish older lady in particular seems to have a real problem with people. A shame as I enjoy the cinnamon rolls!

I don't often enjoy leaving mediocre reviews and it is not something I often do. I often make a bee-line for locations such as this and was hoping for something a little more fulfilling. I had a strange interaction with the very young lady working, that was mostly my fault due of my dry sense of humour, which I did apologise for as it might have been a language barrier or the thought that I might have been being rude but the response was less than enthusiastic and accepting - that is just the way that it goes with me, I find. My friend and I did not feel to enthusiastic about the food when we arrived, not because it would not have been nice but the two microwaves did put me off and I just feel that the lady was going to just put together the food as per instructions. We settled for a coffee, which was weak in flavour and the cutlery smelt of dirty water, sometimes the case when the filter in the dishwasher isn't cleaned. I am probably used to a different level of vegetarian restaurant and frequenting Totnes often, I probably have a high bar, so I do apologise for the poor review. We did have a splendid chat with a lady from Hong Kong who was intrigued by my interaction with the waitress and the nuances of culture and language.

Siempre comemos aquí cuando estamos en Glastonbury. La comida siempre es deliciosa , caliente y muy bien presentada . . . y para la zona que sentimos que es muy buena relación calidad-precio ya que comer en la ciudad puede ser bastante caro. El servicio/personal es siempre rápido y muy agradable. La nota azul es un crédito a Glastonbury High Street. Prueba la hamburguesa te va a encantar y los Nachos están deliciosos! 😋 Nos vemos de nuevo pronto! 🍴☕ 🤗
