Great vegetarian menu, warm friendly welcoming staff nothing is too much trouble, the courtyard and garden with the stream running across the back of the walled garden is a perfect setting to enjoy the delicious food produced in the open kitchen very clean as you can watch your food prepared if you wish while sitting inside. Try the deluxe toasted sandwich made with locally made bread garnished with their own interesting home made salad ,my favourite . Used by locals and visitors who return again and again to enjoy the welcoming relaxed atmosphere

We stumbled upon this having been to Millbrook many times. It has a lovely tea garden behind accessed through the shop or via a side passage. The food is of generous portions and reasonably priced and wholesome. The garden at the rear is secluded and has ample sun umbrellas. Produce and seedlings are for sale as well . Well worth a visit.

Not quite hiding behind the Health Food/Fruit and Veg. Shop, this bright clean cafe makes fine food, with a delightful imaginative menu, cheerfully dispensed by the hardworking owners - artisan bread, home made salad ingredients and good touches like tea in a mug or a pot, with no white sugar in evidence. The toasted sandwiches are imaginative, healthy and substantial! Children are well catered for with that lovely touch of 'boiled egg with soldiers'. Above all the prices are very affordable across the range of food provided.

What a gem, scrumptious food, delightful premises with a charming garden to sit in and enjoy a really good coffee served by wonderful staff. I have had the pleasure of eating in the Honey Rooms on several occasions both when it has been quiet and when it has been very busy. The staff are pleasant and motivated as are the fabulous owners Sarah and Nick.

Great little veggie cafe tucked out the back of the village veg shop. Blink and you'll miss it but try not to as the food is fresh and to die for ! The garden is a delight and the staff are warm and welcoming. Amazing oat lattes and always something original on the specials board. A great place to lounge around and drink coffee with friends too, I recommend !!

I had the pleasure of visiting The Honeyroom a few times over the past weeks. Breakfast is my favorite and the Honeyroom’s delicious menu did not disappoint! It’s a magical little garden cafe tucked into the village with smiling friendly staff, scrumptious food and of course ... coffee! When in Millbrook you must enjoy the charming Honeyroom.

The Honey Room is a vegetarian/vegan delight. The menu has something for everyone and there’s a specials board too. The toasties are something else - huge doorstep wedges of bread oozing with cheese. The indoor area is light and airy and also has WiFi, and the garden is stunning - it even has a little stream. Figs, raspberries strawberries and more grow in every corner. It’s worth coming to Millbrook just to try this place out. Top oat lattes too!

Visited last week. Attractive place with a lovely courtyard. The service slalomed between slow and rude. If the staff are not interested in serving customers, it is difficult to see why customers should spend their time and money in the place. I won't be back.

My mother and I visited this cafe on Saturday, as part of the Open Gardens event in Millbrook. It was a beautifully hot day and the garden / courtyard area is very attractive. We went in to order food and drinks but were told fairly quickly that food would take a long time due to it being a busy day. At this stage there were about 10 people looking to order food. We then ordered drinks:

my wife and I were looking for snacks at different scales of menu, she had beans on toast and myself a fried breakfast, the sausages were of vegetarian type but in fairness to the honeyroom I did not request another option. £14.50 for two meals with drinks is very reasonable and of adequate portion size. Thanks

Me visita aquí bastante frecuentemente. Aunque no soy vegetariano, me gusta disfrutar de comida vegetariana. Es difícil encontrar un restaurante o cafetería donde la comida es imaginativo y sana, pero creo que la miel ha conseguido tanto. habitación

The kids loved the mint hot chocolate drinks. Lattes very good just wished they did the skimmed milk. Also they allowed our dog to come inside too as it was too hot in the courtyard. The cakes were yummy too.

OK, so we didn't know about this hidden cafe, tucked behind an Aladdin's cave of a whole-food store opposite the Millbrook Post Office.Walking by, we spotted a press of people at the back of the store and then saw the sign.Glad we did! The friendly, speedy service was a treat - red lentil and apricot soup with home-baked bread and a wide choice of teas made us welcome. And as we ate, slow realisation dawned that outside in the tiny rear garden every seat was taken as a succession of local talent played the sunny afternoon away in a Bowie Tribute mini-concert - so many memories and such fun!

Visited The Honey Room for birthday lunch a little under a year after our first visit. The cafe is so warm and welcoming, sitting at the rear of the most amazing grocers/wholefood shop. The cafe was bustling despite it being a Monday, but we found a table looking out onto the delightful courtyard/garden. The food is gorgeous, and was served very quickly. We had the macaroni cheese, and homity pie. Both were served with a fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. The meals were hot, and wonderfully tasty. The prices are very reasonable for home cooked food, and it is great to find somewhere which does 'veggie' so simply and so well. The mood in the cafe is friendly and chilled, and whilst it is obviously well used by locals, we as 'outsiders' felt welcome and relaxed. This cafe is well worth a visit, being close to the coast road, and Whitsand Bay, Seaton etc makes a wonderful, tasty start to a day of exploring the area.

My wife and I wanted to go somewhere special to commemmorate my mum on her birthday and we chose the Honey Room as, although she never went in the cafe, she used to love the shop. We both had a delicious curried Dhal Pasty with a fresh assortment of salads. As with every meal we've ever had here, it was tasty, well-spiced and delicious. The people who run the cafe are, without exception, a friendly and relaxed bunch and it's always a pleasure to go there.

Had heard good things about this cafe, and decided to try for myself. It's tucked away at the back of an amazing wholefood/organic grocery shop, which is packed full of wonderful things. The cafe itself is bright and welcoming, with an outside patio area for warm days. The printed menu is varied and enticing, but there is also a well displayed 'specials' menu, giving even more choice. I had a lentil and red pepper bake which came with a selection of salads, and was delicious, and my fellow diners declared their lentil and bean chilli to be 'superb'. Service was quick and amiable, despite there being what appeared to be an early afternoon 'rush', with several diners arriving at the same time. The whole atmosphere in the cafe was leisurely and comfortable, and we shall certainly be returning to sample more of what the menu has to offer.

Millbrook is a small village, so imagine my delight when I stumble across this little gem! Lovely organic and vegetarian meals; the falafels are to due for, and my daughter can't get enough of the chocolate brownies! With a grocery shop attached, you can pick up local eggs, and a full range if gluten-free, vegan and veggie foods. Love it!

If I had of had my Trip Advisor 'favourite local' sticker on me I definitely would have left it on the cafe window .This 'cute as pie' cafe is actually at the rear of a very quaint local fruit shop.A lot of history goes with this cafe, (story printed on the menu). The small cafe at the back was in a previous life a honey room. There is actually a pretty lead light glass window above the entry doorway saying "The Honey Room", a nice touch. This leads out to the garden/patio area, decked out with multi coloured tables and chairs with a pergola in the corner for shade. Here, I had one of if not the best lunch I've had in ages. Good wholesome nourishing food.Thoroughly recommend.

Despite using their own email contact form to book I had no reply. On checking the actual premises it would appear this establishment is closed despite their web site saying the opposite. There is a 'lease for sale' notice in the window . Sadly the demise of a good Newquay restaurant
