Lots of space to sit in Screen 4, with small tables where you can put your drink. I don't mind people eating during the adverts and trailers, but, please, not during the film! (Unless you can be really quiet!) The loos are smelly and the reason is almost certainly because the urinals do not flush. They have a disc in place which they think will remove odour but they don't work. Automatic flushing is normally used for urinals, but this wastes water. Much better if a manual flush could be provided.

Fantastic staff, bar with hot food served to your table in the cinema whist your watching a film. rooms are small so not over crowded, chairs wide and reasonably comfortable lots of leg room. If you go regularly you can buy a card for £10 that give you money off for a year which is great. Love coming here.

We made a family visit to this cinema and included lunch which was cooked fresh and was plentiful it looked and tasted the part. Thanks from the Staceys.

Love this place. Fantastic that they stream live shows from ballet, opera, concerts and of course all the lastest films. The restaurant is great perfect for a quick dinner before the show.

My wife and i went to see tom cruise save the day yet again at the phoenix . Nice comfortable cinema with good choice of food and beverage , and unlike ireland you can have alcohol in the cinema , its also reasonably priced .

Take in a film and a great meal. Food unexpectedly gorgeous and beautifully presented. Staff friendly and excellent customer service.

A dear little cinema and a real surprise restaurant. Excellent service and imaginative, good food. I had sea bass and my husband had steak, both delish, with a glass of reasonable wine. Go for the film/meal deal for a bargain! All ready for us quickly after the film was over. Only gripe that it is really hard to find.

This cinema is in a quirky building full of character, the screens are relatively small but the seats are great with plenty of leg room and a place to rest your food and drink, they even have 2 seater sofas. Did not try any food but their latte is pretty good and you are served by a waitress at your cinema seat. Sound was a wee bit loud but still an overall good experience.

This cinema is a real find. We stumbled across it on a wet August morning. We were thrilled to discover that the screen we were in had comfy sofas! Our children were beyond excited! We snuggled up on the squelchy sofas and watched Cars 3 in total comfort! Brilliant! We will return.

Overpriced and poorly prepared, yet typical cinema type food. What you would probably expect from a cinema food stand, but slightly more dressed up and certainly more expensive.

The Phoenix is a wonderful cinema, with a first-floor returant that is far from the usual cinematic snacks. We had first-class teryaki steak, jumbo prawns and sundaes that could hodl their own in any good quality mid-range restaurant. Burgers looked great too, maybe next time.

Totally love this friendly cosy cinema. The cuddle sofas are a fantastic idea and the sound/cinema screens cannot be faulted. You can have alcoholic drinks delivered to you whilst you are enjoying your movie and at very little extra cost can have a lovely meal...

for us locals this is a godsend if you want to get out and go to the cinema , Falmouth once had 3 cinemas and for 20yrs didn't have any until the Phoenix rose from the flames

Not reviewing restaurant. I am reviewing cinema 3 which I visited yesterday to see Deep water Horizon. Dolby stereo all round sound far too loud. Turn it down!!!!

This was a very good meal. We are vegetarian and had 2 of the veggie options which were both home cooked and excellent. We had the meal and a film deal which was fantastic value.

Amazing superfood salad ! So surprised but will be back!!!!!! Both partner and I blown away by service in chap wearing black with spikes in his hair!!! Thank you to chef and staff !!!!!

My husband and I quite take advantage of the really good food served in the restaurant. We can have 2 main meals, a starter, 2 drinks (wine and beer) and tickets for a film for around £30. A great, cheap evening out.

My mum and I went to the restaurant for dinner before we went to see a film. The staff were so friendly and so polite! Our dinners were great (albeit mum's pasta was a little too spicy for her) and the movie and main course deal was fantastic. The cinema was comfy and overall we had a lovely time! Thank you!

We went to see a film, decided to try the upstairs restaurant afterwards, and were surprised by just how good it was. I have read the last review, dated January, and can say the same. The curry is great - great taste, great value, great service. I mention service because the staff, all the staff, have a great attitude towards giving great service, making sure everything is exactly what the customer wants.

Read all the good reviews and we were a bit sceptical but did the dinner and film deal which is an absolute Bargain. And the food was cracking! Absolutely delicious, the curry was described as 'I can't believe how good this is' and my fusion Thai salmon and crayfish pasta was lovely! We will be doing this again! Thanks

This is such a lovely place to eat. Food was delicious and we had lots of different tapas and gorgeous chips. Staff were really attentive and very bright and jolly. Not a bad price and would recommend a visit to this unusual eatery.

What a great cinema and restaurant. Pasta dishes we had were outstanding and staff very friendly. Lovely old building, tastefully converted to a multi screen cinema and restaurant. Meal deal including cinema ticket only £12!

Was very impressed with the cinema as a whole. We wanted to eat there so the receptionist suggested that it would be better value to cancel our tickets purchased online and to buy the meal and movie combined ticket. She was right. The food was really tasty, I can recommend the burger and the pasta al pollo. The sofas in the cinema were comfy and waitress service at our seats was brilliant.

Was completely surprised by what this place offers and if you have a merlin card you get great discount too. Lovely cakes even gluten free offered plus good choice of hot food, shakes, ice creams etc and nice coffee

Oh yes! I have my Merlin membership for now going to the Falmouth Phoenix. Great staff, always so lovely and cheery and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Great value for food and I would recommend the Nachos and a drink brought to your table whilst viewing a film.The Phoenix well deserves a good rating.I only missed out one point on the rating as we experienced really bad sticky floors in Screen 1 after a kids party which apparently wasn't cleaned up very well afterwards. But I'm sure that has since been resolved.

I'll be honest, when I ordered a meal before my film I wasn't expecting what I got. I ordered the 'super-food salad' and it was absolutely delicious - like the kind of thin you'd expect in a really nice restaurant. My boyfriend was also really pleased with his meal. Really well priced, especially if you're a Movie Magic Card holder and you do the movie + meal thing. Well worth it :)

Decided to try this on recommendation. Big mistake. There were four of us. Two ordered steak burgers without buns which came with salad and chips. One ordered cheese burger and I ordered Moroccan casserole with couscous. Two of the burgers weren't burgers but mini steaks ( big difference in price we discovered afterwards), the other burger arrived with no cheese and wasn't cooked in the middle. We had to sendc.v. it back. The second time it was still missing cheese. By the time it arrived the others had finished staunchest th hey could. The Morrocan salad consisted mainly of orange quarters complete with rind which rendered it pretty much inedible. Most of the chips were ok, apart from the hard ones. The garlic bread needed salt as it didn't taste of anything.Can't remember the last time I had such a poor meal. Next time I'm planning to visit the cinema will eat in Weatherspoons opposite. Never had a bad meal there!

After our second great experience dining in this restaurant, we felt compelled to spread the word about the excellent food at the Falmouth Phoenix Cinema. And about time the restaurant had it's own tripadvisor listing, rather than it being part of the Falmouth Cinema "attraction". We've had two exquisite salads and a risotto as well as a heavenly cheesecake, all of which were made by the same chef who both times came out personally to check if we were happy with his creations. Although we are both foodies, we've never written a review before for anywhere, but this chef really deserves to be praised highly. The two salads I've eaten here rank as the top 2 salads I've ever had. We both ate very slowly because we didn't want the experience to end. The first time we ate the chef's food was after ordering finger food to be brought to our seats in the cinema. It tasted great, but have no idea what it looked like as we were eating in the dark. Eating in the restaurant was unexpectedly fantastic and the chef's presentation of the food was akin to that of a high class establishment - which this is, only nobody knows it. Yet.
