The best restaurants serving Vegetarian food in South West

We LOVE the hub. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the food is totally fantastic. The staff are super friendly too. We go there as often as we can :)

This is one of the most amazing places to eat in Dorset. Fantastic food, great owners a true, fabulous gem of home cooked foods. The cakes are fantastic.

Great place to enjoy a coffee and cake.

We visited as a group of 8 and my personal experience was not the best. The food was very expensive but not particularly filling nor tasty. For similar price in Exeter you can get more and better food. Perhaps it was the dishes me and my wife tried; maybe we should have gone for the burger instead. The fries were great! The atmosphere was pretty bad. The place was very cold, and we really couldn't wait to get out of there after our dinner to go to some place warm. The interior of the building was old with obvious signs of wear in many of the wall fixings. And lastly, there was no acoustic treatment at all, so despite the only 15-20 people in the restaurant, it was still very loud.

Visited for lunch, food options explained by the lovely and cheerful Jane. Amazing selection of vegan foods, buffet of so many choices, all top quality and exceptionally tasty. Great relaxed environment with a perfect music playlist. I shall return!

Friendly and welcoming in a wonderful spot isolated from the noise and bustle of the town centre (the garden is especially lovely, if not necessarily on a wet December afternoon). The best coffee in Kingsbridge - and an excellent mince pie too!

I can’t remark on the meal as my friend and I didn’t stay. I found Pea Souk on the website and we were looking forward to trying it out! We walked through the door and went to sit at the window table which was an EMPTY communal table that would sit 6-8 people. Despite the table being empty the waitress/owner? Indicated that we could only sit opposite each other however one side only had a bench seat and as my friend and I are elderly with back problems we wanted to sit beside each other so that we had a backrest. We explained this and we were greeted with tuts, sighs and raised eyebrows so following this awful reception we left. Only try this place if you don’t mind doing exactly as you are told by an unpleasant woman who doesn’t deserve custom.

Beautiful place, strong local community atmosphere with a real heart. Very popular so can get busy. Coffees are great, service is friendly if a bit slow (just because it’s so busy!!)

First visit for a long while and was looking forward to it but when the cake is so obviously stale it should be disposed of. No complaints with the coffee but at the risk of repeating myself, the coffee and walnut cake was disgraceful.

Great vegetarian menu, warm friendly welcoming staff nothing is too much trouble, the courtyard and garden with the stream running across the back of the walled garden is a perfect setting to enjoy the delicious food produced in the open kitchen very clean as you can watch your food prepared if you wish while sitting inside. Try the deluxe toasted sandwich made with locally made bread garnished with their own interesting home made salad ,my favourite . Used by locals and visitors who return again and again to enjoy the welcoming relaxed atmosphere

Lots of space to sit in Screen 4, with small tables where you can put your drink. I don't mind people eating during the adverts and trailers, but, please, not during the film! (Unless you can be really quiet!) The loos are smelly and the reason is almost certainly because the urinals do not flush. They have a disc in place which they think will remove odour but they don't work. Automatic flushing is normally used for urinals, but this wastes water. Much better if a manual flush could be provided.

Lovely garden center, great supply of pots. Friendly and helpful service. Free delivery due to amount spent.

I wouldn’t mind it being so overpriced if the service were friendly. The Scottish older lady in particular seems to have a real problem with people. A shame as I enjoy the cinnamon rolls!

We bought three drinks @ £3.60 each, one was a bit strong, we asked for more hot water and they charged us a £1 for a cup of hot water!. Also, it’s a vegetarian cafe, but they charge an extra 40p for plant milk. Disappointing.

Wonderful staff and a delicious lunch, beautifully cooked to perfection followed by a selection of lovely cakes and drinks, thank you it was the prefect venue for a family gathering of cousins from England and Ireland
