The best restaurants serving Turkish food in England

My fave Turkish in Liverpool. The Turkish wine is gorgeous 😍 staff are lovely. I had the lamb for mains and it was delicious.

Amazing breakfast, scrambled eggs are superb. Ginger tea so refreshing. Definitely worth a visit

Really disappointed to find the restaurant closed after booking the same day online. The sign in the window said due to a technical issue they were closed for a few days, but they should have also closed the booking system and we wouldnt have wasted our time driving to Pangbourne

Myself and my family have been frequenting this wonderful restaurant for a number of years and it has NEVER disappointed! We have celebrated birthdays and Christmas here on many occasions, the food is fantastic and the service is always very pleasant - I often recommend this place to people I know! Thank you as always to the Hisar Team!

Very good food- ok service - atmosphere is good until service starts talking about religion it is not necessarily. However kebab and salads was yummy 😋 good jobs i will be back soon

Had a table booked for NYE, we turned up to find the restaurant closed and in complete darkness. They were shut for an extended period of time during 2024 - I reckon that’s them finished for good now. Sad.

Absolutely delicious food, friendly service and reasonably priced. We popped in on a whim mid week when it was quiet, but I think they're busier at weekends. Would thoroughly recommend.

We searched up a place to eat in Chelmsford before our 3 hour journey back home and bumped into this spot. We arrived to a very clean restaurant, empty but pleasant. The waitress was welcoming and offered a good service. The food was a good portion, made to order and tasty. Would recommend it! Toilets facilities are also very clean.

Amazing Turkish food! I really miss Turkish food when we are not over there so to find somewhere that recreates authentic Turkish cuisine is amazing! The wraps are unreal, the lentil soup is spot on, and the boregi is lush too! So hard to find boregi at other places, we get these in mirgos everyday when over there so over the moon to find somewhere that makes them fresh! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu

I messaged on Facebook and asked for something that wasn’t on the menu. It was truly the best doner meat I’ve had in a long time and the very best in Daventry!! Will certainly be ordering it again!!

Everyone was so nice and kind to us and the food was so lovely

A huge group of us went out to celebrate not seeing each other for several years. The team at the Mad Turk was great from booking such a large party and changes to numbers. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful throught the evening. Everyone really loved the food. Lived up to its reputation.

I would love to be able to review the actual food but unfortunately after 3 hours and multiple phone calls it did not arrive until 30 minutes after we called and cancelled and started cooking....
