Staff, food and service all deserve a 5 star. Top quality restaurant with live Turkish Music on Fridays and Saturdays in the heart of the city. Belly dancing is a bonus. Mixed Grill and Rice Pudding (Sütlaç )is my favourite.

Had my wedding reception in the Great Titchfield Street location on 27/12/1988 and visited again in Maple Street on 25/03/25, 36 years later. Location has changed, but the quality of the food is still just as good. First class and authentic. Prices reasonable and service very good. Will go again soon.

What a great place to come for dinner with friends. An eclectic mix of diners in the restaurant, lots of people coming and going. Good vibes multiplied with good food equals a great night. Efe's hosted me and some colleagues for dinner last night and we had fantastic service and food. They were very friendly and accommodating, they were attentive and even let us sit in the downstairs area on our own which was perfect for privacy. The food selection was great, as were the sharing platters, and they even brought out some complimentary fruit platters at the end, which was a really nice suprise. We left feeling very full and happy. Many thanks to your team on Wednesday 5th March.

Beautiful authentic family owned Turkish restaurant. We ordered a hot and cold meze every single item was flavorsome, the calamari was fresh and tender, the sujuk was juicy and the baba ganoush had the right about of garlic. I ordered Ali Nazik perfect amount of food, the meat was well seasoned, had the right amount of spice, cheesy goodness wrapped in bread and the yogurt dressing was to die for. Definitely would return

I came here by chance and had a really fun time! Looking at the first floor, I thought it was a home-style house with a comfortable atmosphere, but there was a basement, hahaha. It was a whole new world. Go down to the basement. A new world unfolds!

Really good all round experience - I can understand why this place has been around so long but I doubt I can add much to the existing reviews. Old fashioned atmosphere, friendly staff. Portions are generous and the food very tasty. We shared a couple of meze, had a good main course and a drink each. Came to £79 including service, which seemed fair enough.

First time having Turkish but had an unbelievable experience. Our server Erin was nothing but the best and yeah the food was good. Everything is seasoned perfectly and spice level is accommodating for the whole family. Highly recommend 10/10 experience

This authentic Turkish restaurant is part of the famous Efes chain. Efes restaurants are mainly in East London, but some may remember Efes II in Grt Portland St, this is the same owner Kazim. Very popular with London Black Taxi drivers, who always know where to get a good food & a kebab. Takeaway available, but be prepared to wait a bit for quality food. Efes is Good for solo diners, couples and large groups. I recommend you make a reservation, so not to be disappointed. Vegetarian, Fish, Halal available as well as special dietary requests. The owner insists on the very best quality meats, you won't be disappointed! Efes Restaurant is a 5 minute walk from Warren Street or Goodge St tube stations, less than 10 minutes from Tottenham Court Road. A good choice of traditional English pubs nearby, I recommend The King & Queen or Lore of the Land. Special dietary requirements catered for please ask. Enjoy your experience. We booked 12 friends for a late Xmas lunch & staid for dancing & drinks until late.

Super fresh and really delicious food! Simply top and really recommended from the heart.. whether it was soup, salad, side dishes such as bread tzatziki or grill plate, everything was really delicious and simply fresh! The only thing I really have to complain about is that the waiters have a bit of a lack of heart... it feels like they're just working but there's a lack of eye contact and a bit of friendliness. (the fries need improvement) However, if you really want to eat something good, you've come to the right place! Recommended 👍🏽

Today turned into a special day. Walked.to an AGM which then turned to a Turkish vegetarian food talk which then turned into going to Fees to taste some of the amazing dishes which were prepared for our special group. It is great to be fed when least expecting it, it is even nicer to be fed very well. Each dish that we were served was not only plentiful they were all vegetarian and most vegan. The soup was perfect as was all of the other courses that were spread out in plentiful fashion. We were even given our desert as we paid a few of us had no choice but to leave early. Thank you to Ergin and his team of very capable chefs and servers. The price was of good value too! A great Turkish meal after listening to the very warm and amazing Özlem Warren! Her book Sebze is a sheer delight that was an icing on my cake! Enjoy!

Great food - even better service!

Just rolled into town and our Airbnb host suggested this location. It was slow inside so we took a table and looked through the menu. After spending 3 weeks in Italy, it was nice to find a place with meat! Both dishes were very good. I especially enjoyed the steaks. I felt the kabob meat was a bit dry but with some tzatziki sauce it was better. The rice was also flavorful. Didn’t have room for dessert as we finished our plates. Service very attentive. Bit pricey but very good.
