Excellent, great staff and food! I had a tavuk guvec, chicken casserole, which was so good I would recommend it. The chicken shish was very popular and much enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We shall visit again.

Staff, food and service all deserve a 5 star. Top quality restaurant with live Turkish Music on Fridays and Saturdays in the heart of the city. Belly dancing is a bonus. Mixed Grill and Rice Pudding (Sütlaç )is my favourite.

Really lovely neighbourhood restaurant with a lot of atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back for the borek and baklava. They also gave us a very generous complementary fruit platter, which was a perfect palate cleanser before launching into dessert. Will be back!

Great place if you like a lot of meat

Highly recommend this place. Food is great and you won’t find cheaper cocktails in London. Service is outstanding - staff are very friendly and quick. Was there for my friend's birthday and they definitely made her feel special. Downstairs they had live Turkish music and belly dancing, which made for a fantastic night out.

Eltan is such a lovely waiter! Super accommodating for a person with coeliac disease! My dad (a coeliac disease) absolutely adored the Ali Nazik and the Shish was incredible! Free dessert too ❤️❤️ will definitely be coming here again!

For a chicken Kebab with salad they charge me £17.50 and when I went to pay they charge 10% service charge without saying nothing about this!! În the menu we saw that 10% but it was wrote really small we could barrelly see it!!

Lovely food and atmosphere. However was slightly disappointed with the service from the lady who was serving us, coming across as a bit rude and pushy and not explaining things on the menu very well. Definitely worth another visit if I'm in the area again.

We had our Christmas party here and it was fabulous! Lots of fantastic food, entertainment was brilliant, service was spot on (the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful) and the drinks were served quickly and reasonably priced. Great value for money, great atmosphere and a fab time had by all! Will def be back again!

We went here for our staff Christmas lunch and ended up staying until after 8pm. We got the most fantastic service from start to finish. Complimentary drinks and a belly dancer for entertainment. The food was delicious (perhaps too much meat for some)! No one selected the vegeterian option so cannot comment on that. For a £40 fixed special Christmas menu - starter, main and sweet pastries we could not have asked for a better deal.

Awful food here for a Turkish, extremely dry meat & unflavoured food. The drinks were watered down too, wouldn’t recommend

Saw the reviews so booked here for my birthday but Food was extremely dry (lamb doner, chicken doner & fish) also ordered a mixed shish & we just had patties no chunks of meat as we were expecting. The drinks were watered down & cocktails tasted awful. I booked a group booking & were given the only option of a set menu without being told prior on the booking or call. Was told “well it’s all over our Instagram page so that’s all there is” Live music was being played but was so loud we couldn’t even speak. Overall I didn’t enjoy my birthday experience. Gokyuzu restaurant was a much better experience, food & drink & decor. The group were so hungry that we went to McDonald’s after.

We arrived in good time for our reservation. On explaining to the waiter that we had a reservation and showed him the email confirmation, he spoke with others and judging by the body language, it was clear that they missed our booking. Having been taken down stairs to sit at a table and wait for ours to come free, we then went back upstairs. The waitress (the elderly one of the two) could not have been more rude if she tried. When we were seated, we were asked straight away for our order. Having asked twice for her to give us a couple of minutes, we then ordered. On asking if we could order drinks, she went and put our food order in then came back for the drinks one. I have never known this happen anywhere before but we were all conscious that we were an inconvenience to these people through no fault of our own and it was as if we were being punished for this. The food arrived that was nice and tender but lukewarm at best unless this was done on purpose so we ate it quicker!!! Even the casserole my wife had was not very hot. As soon as we finished eating, the plates were gone. My wife dared to ask for the dessert menu which was then met with an annoying look from the older waitress. The actual desert was then slammed down in front of her which made a slight change from the rubber plates that our main meal was on as they did slightly bounce on landing. As we individually finished our drinks, these were whipped away from us and the table started to be completely cleared with the bill arriving at that time. It was as if we weren't welcome and certainly not welcome anymore!!! As we left, the gentleman stood by the counter on the way out apologised for the rushed service. That confirmed to us that we had been forgotten about and also confirmed our thoughts of being punished for daring to make a reservation in the first place that they had missed. Never again!!!

Took some friends out to dinner here, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend Efes to anybody looking for nice Turkish food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. 10/10

Staff is incredible and the food can’t be beat!

Cosy place and good service, the down side is the food quality. The meat was quite hard and not the best quality, nothing like a real Turkish restaurant. The hummus was also very average. I wouldn’t come back, as the food quality was very poor and cheap.

How do I give zero stars? Unfair to give even 1 star. Had a booking for 9pm on Opentable for party of 8. Restaurant accepted it which it should not have. Then calls and asks us to come at 9.45pm. Fine. We wait at a bar close by and watch football. Turn up at 9.45pm. Treated rudely at the door. Told we have no booking. We explain we were told to come at 9.45pm. Atrocious, treated really badly by lady at the door. Pushed. Door forced on me by lady at door. Told “boss has said no”. Then after some arguing and 10 minutes another lady come to explains we will have a table in 5-10minutes. By which point we are disgusted and half the party want to leave because of how we have been treated. Another long haired guy came to say they will have a table but my friends have left because they don’t want to go to a place that treats us like this - we went to the Greek restaurant down the street which I recommend. If the restaurant replies anything contrary they are lying blatantly because above is what happened.

No authentic taste of Turkish food at all. Dry adena kebabs. Eat where natives eat. Go to Harringay area if you want more closer to authentic taste. Parking big issue. Not busy at all because of parking restrictions during day time but they may be busy after 6pm when parking becomes free. We took risk by parking opposite and keeping an eye with stress.

We had a birthday celebration her over the weekend roughly 45 people. Tables had been laid out well, food was very good, everyone enjoyed it. Food was actually better on the day, than on the previous occasion when we had gone to have lunch and try it out, before booking the venue. Bit slow service, but not an issue on that day, as everyone was busy catching up with each other. We were also able to use their music system to play some music we'd brought along. Also, connected to their TV, to play couple of videos for the kids to watch and not get bored. Good party, enjoyed it.

I dined here with a couple of friends on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was quiet at 7 but filled up as the evening went on. We shared a selection of hot and cold meze to start all if which met our expectations. I the opted for the mixed treble kebab of cubes of lamb, fillet of lamb and chicken accompanied by a side of chips. Dessert was a bowl of cold rice pudding. Although all very simple the food as good and hit the spot. Very fairly priced too.

When you go there ask them Döner kebab And hot meze’s delicious!! And They Call mix kebab. Lamb chop lamb shish, chicken shish, lamb ribs, and finally they called BEYTi , amazing I strongly recommended
