Great value lunchtime menu £13.75 for two causes good starter and main choices. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The thing that really impressed me was when a young lad came into the restaurant and asked if they could fill his water bottle, which they did .

Had many meals here & many delivered to our home. We can say without doubt, this is the best restaurant in the Chelmsford area & one of the best we've every in in or had delivered to our home. The standard is high & never goes below this. You order something & it is always so lovely to eat. The food, drinks & staff are always so welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody.

Amazing variety of food an desserts alot I've never herd of, yet I'd say its a must 😋 to try ! The food presentation is lovely so is the atmosphere, its cosy especially for families an 1 too 1 dates. This is the 4th time i've been this year and before christmas we invited a few family members this year an MODA was able too accommodate us all. 👌 The service is Second-Too-None due to its cosiness an great service, its a wonderful place to go especially for the value your getting. Excellent meal last night. Really good and authentic Turkish food. The chicken livers were fantastic and the mixed grill was perfectly cooked. The meat was moist and tender. Super value. Highly recommend.

What a lovely find! I called on a Saturday asking if they had a table for 4 quite soonish (as unfortunately the place we orignally went to let us down and we were at a loss) They said yeah no problem, we turned up 15 minutes later and was seated straight away. The had an amazing selection of cocktails and their food was cooked to perfection. Portion size was spot on, wasn't too much but wasn't too little either. The waitress was so lovely and warm and made sure we were looked after. Although the space is quite small it wasn't too cramped and they utilised their space that they had quite well Would definitely come again, I have already recommended to anyone that would listen.

The staff are welcoming, the restaurant is lovely and the food is always fresh and tasty. What more could you ask for?

I have ordered from Moda 19 times and I expect that will continue to grow. They make the best grilled lamb, salads, wraps and their hummus is legendary, and they do their thing consistently, every order, every day of the week, same quality ingredients and same quality cooking. This place deserves so much more attention than it gets, and honestly I am a snob with food, I have a rule that if I can cook it better then why pay. But I can't cook better than these guys. I highly recommend eating from here. I've had takeaway the last three times, but the restaurant is very welcoming and is good value. The takeaway meal we ordered was the same quality and value. The only thing that i was disappointed with was that there was no mint sauce. Whether they forgot it, I don't know ,but the whole meal in general was good.

I visited Moda Restaurant with my family. My daughter is living in Chelmsford and we visited Moda at last Saturday. Everything was perfect, especially the staff was quite professional and cheerful. I tried mixed shish and my daughter got lamb shish. We also tried their cold starters. I will definitely visit Moda again because I am not able to forget that delicious meal. Next time I will bring my husband as well.

This place is an absolute gem! Starting from our host, Fatma, and down to our food and drinks everything was absolutely exquisite. Generous portions, amazing service and seeing that I am a cocktail fan, my LongIsland Iced Tea was the absolute best I have ever had. We left this place with a big smile and eager to come back. I thought I would have a good time with friends and family, but when I started ordering, I could already see the staff's impatience when some of us were still deciding what to drink. When we ordered the appetizers of our choice, we were told to order all of our food at once. We decided we would keep that and if we liked it we would order other things from the menu. I felt discriminated against when I found out I wasn't fair to only order that amount of food, when in fact we are only ordering the entree. We decided to go out and eat somewhere else where we were happy and ate delicious food of our choosing without being overwhelmed by our menu choices. Maybe not relevant, but we have the notes from the other restaurant where we spent a generous amount that could have been left over at your restaurant.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at the Moda restaurant . My husband and I had already eaten there and because we liked our first experience so much, we decided to take friends and my in-laws who’d come from Brazil to visit us. Sadly, we were very poorly attended. We were going to order some things to start, and then order more things to follow, but our waitress treated us with prejudice saying it was not fair we had occupied 10 chairs and ordered little food, that the restaurant would make little profit and so she needed to know our order to judge whether or not she’d serve us! Needless to say, I was absolutely astonished. Terrible service, and prejudice against your customers. (I'll never go back, and if I can, I'll stop people from going there.) Ps It doesn't make sense for you to tell me that, if I go anywhere to eat regardless of what the meal is, what fits me at that moment should be served. How are you sure we would save? The people who were there had never been to your restaurant, they wanted to taste it first and then they would order more things, as we had already arranged. Only drinks that we ordered at the beginning were already 10 drinks. Prejudiced, and rude. We went on a Saturday around 4:00 p.m. there was no person in your restaurant, it was two children and a baby, the children already eat little and should not count on them. If you want customers, start treating them well. I don't recommend it anymore. And you can be sure we would pay well if we were treated properly.

On our wedding anniversary, my wife and I chose this Turkish restaurant for a special celebration. We kicked the things off with the delightful mixed meze paired with a fantastic Efes beer. For our main course I opted for the lamb shish and my wife went for the mixed shish. Recently we brought our grandchildren along and they really enjoyed with the kids menu. The experience was all around wonderful and the staff was quite friendly. That made our anniversary celebration truly memorable and delightful. 5 star service!

Great food and a nice feel to this restaurant...hidden delight in Great Baddow

The meat mousakka and adana kofte were delicious, and the baklava after completed the perfect dinner. Don’t miss their authentic Turkish coffee! Highly recommended!

This is a lovely Turkish restaurant. The food is good, the service is excellent they serve Draft lager and bottles of Efes Turkish beer, what more can you ask..

I have now had 3 wonderful takeaways from here, the food is always well presented and hot when it arrives. Of course it always tastes delicious too! I’ll definitely come for a meal in the restaurant soon!

£10? For this??? Used have kids meal to include breads avd salads. Ripped off. We wasn’t happy with it. Not coming back anymore. They lost regular customer. I found nearest restaurant is better. Thank you for the reply but it wasn’t true. It was included bread and salads before. I came back to ask why it’s not included. You told me that I shouldn’t have kids meal. It was my choice to eat smaller portion. Thank you.

£10 for this??? This kid meal used to include with breads and salads. When asked they about missing bread and sakads. They making excuses. They have lost regular customer. We are not coming back because neatest one is better. Very gutted and very disappointed with their attitudes.

Me and my partner came here for a lunch on a Saturday and it seemed pretty quiet inside but we went ahead and got seated. I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing the chicken was so soft and the minced lamb was full of flavour! The service was spot on and the only downside was we couldn't believe the place wasn't full! Definitely a little gem in great baddow and would recommend!

visited before and was excellent.. but sadly on this visit i was disapointed and probably wont return.. the meat was lovely but the salad was an insult.. i genuinley think it was the dregs of a salad bag..really poor.. i told the waitress that the chicken was amazing but we felt a bit cheated with salad.. she just said ok. such a shame as we really liked it before..

Moda Restaurant in Great Baddow exceeded all my expectations! The Lamb Sish was incredibly flavorful and tender, making it so delicious. The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. Moda Restaurant is a must-visit and I highly recommend you to try the lamb sish. Five stars!

Visited here with family who live nearby. What a find, all the food was excellent. We had the lunch menu and it was excellent value and great portion sizes. Good selection of drinks. We will be back when we next visit.

Excellent Turkish Restaurant!! The best in Chelmsford....Winner!

First time visiting the restaurant after being recommended this place by others. Glad I booked a table as quite a small place with only 7/8 tables and was very busy! There was only one waitress who was run if her feet! Not only did she have to deal with sitting dinners but also those collecting takeaways. Unsure if it is just one person managing it all but I did feel for her. Food was wonderful! Unfortunately our main came out before our starters after abit if a wait but the waitress couldn’t have been more apologetic and you can see why there was abit of confusion given how much she had to do on her own. Would return for sure.

When we entered, they took good care of us with a nice welcome. Me and my friends were very happy with the food we ordered. I liked Adana kebab very much, I recommend it for those who want to try it. It was moderately priced, not too expensive. It is a quiet place where you will not get bored as an environment. Thank you to the fashion family.

A true gem in Great Baddow! The food was fresh and delicious - everything was well seasoned and none of the meat was dry. The staff were a true delight. My family took a take out menu home ready to order again, and I'll be back as soon as I can.

Went Moda restaurant with my children. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. Very generous portions. Love the music very much. Vegan options was available and love the vegan cake ( it wasn’t in the Manu but the waitress had offered me because it’s going to be in the to menu soon ). And other good think about this restaurant is. Some people were having birthday dinner with family and off the waitress surprised the lady with slices off cake and sparkling candles on it bring to the table with lovely birthday song. We will definitely come back here and it will be my regular restaurant to eat or do take away. I highly recommend to everyone because it’s beautiful place to eat. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️

Third visit in the last few months and once again we can’t fault Moda. The restaurant is always empty during the afternoon even though they offer a £12;95 lunch menu up to 16:00. House red wine is very palatable and the service is unhurried and friendly. Chicken Shish is really tender and tasty. This place is not just a take away…give it a go.

Ordered a takeaway last night and was so impressed. Food was so delicious and the portion sizes were very good. Was really simple to order to. Ordered when was at work during the day for a pre arranged time, arrived and was in and out, was seamless. Thank you Moda, very impressed.

Just had a meal for me hubby and daughter at Moda,. Very Dissapointed in the salad and rice both so dry and plain we all left it on the plate as it was hard and dry...the mixed grills and lamb chops and Mousakka were lovely....

Great food and service, nice surrounds to enjoy - what’s not to like?

Got a takeaway halloumi wrap which was absolutely lovely but I wish they added some salad in it to give it more flavour, as it was just halloumi and garlic sauce, the chips were devine aswell.

Just perfect. A simple menu. Wonderful friendly service. Very reasonable prices. If the only downside was the slightly wobbly table, then all other aspects of our two visits were extremely positive.

Hugely overpriced, Food is nice but the price just ruined the taste for me..... halumi was just thrown on a plate with a sprinkle of grated carrot, restaurant was empty there was 3 chefs and not one of them could make a nice plate..... Kebabs over priced and the amounts are small..... No bread with kebab, Calamari was chewy and for that price I could have gone smiths in Ongar...... Will never go back....

Two starters, mains, and desserts and two beers and a coke came to £81 (which included a 10% service charge). I had lamb shish as a main, my friend had mixed shish (lamb & chicken). Both came with rice and salad. Nicely presented. No Efes...

What a hidden gem, I've been going into town once a week for lunch with my wife and turquoise kitchen and blaze were great value lunch. But the food here beats them both 2 courses for £13 and the food is delicious. I highly recommend you visit.
