Late!!! Nearly an hour late. Kebabs dry and Donner kebab meat very 'bitty and 'white'. Disappointing because normally okay. Chips dry too

Happy we stopped off here last night. Chicken shish kebab with salad and fries all tasty and cooked freshly. ...it's not exactly a fine dining experience 😐

Worst kebab I’ve ever had. Smelt like dog food and could tell the meat was out of date. Had been told by many locals to avoid this restaurant as awful but felt I should atleast try once. Couldn’t finish one bite and felt to mean to give to my dog Incase it made him ill. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere or stay hungry RANK!!!

Can be a bit hit and miss. Had some delicious kebabs from here but also had an incorrect order and one time the pitta bread was just dumped on top rather then having the meat, salad and sauce put inside it. Pricey for the area.

Nice food and good guys, but very expensive for this area. A large Chicken Shish kebab £13 or £15 for lamb takes the piss more than a bit guys. I see Mr Rams down the road have recently raised their prices in response. It was less than a tenner there tor a large Chicken Shish only weeks ago. Poor form lads and I guess smaller sales for you as a result! I bought a large chicken Shish in Islington earlier in the week for less than £10. The rent there will be many times that of Moulsham street. Huge backwards step for King Kebab! 👎

We have ordered from here many times, but wanted to say that yesterday’s order and delivery was the best we’ve ever had. Driver was so polite and friendly, food arrived in a timely manner, order was correct and the food was delicious, chicken was tender and had lovely flavour. Thank you 😊

King's Kebab is my go-to eat takeaway shop. They do fresh chicken & lamb shish, chicken & lamb doner, pizzas, burgers and a variety of sides and drinks. Staff are friendly and always have a laugh! King's Kebab never disappoints!

Great kebab shop always my favourite for Friday nights, good value and good food. Will admit the freshness of the kebab depends on when you order in the month, I presume when the meat goes on the spit? Other than that, delivery drivers are good and try hard to find my remote house, recent drivers have struggled, drivers from from the lock down period also found my house, go figure.

Absolutely avoid King Kebab down moulsham road. I am disgusted with them! They gave us the completely wrong order. We waited ages for this order. We called them and asked them to the deliver the correct order and the owner said he had too much to do and put the phone down on me!! Honestly disgusted!

This is one of the only Authentic Turkish kebab in Chelmsford. Not from a gas oven but a proper Turkish grill. Definitely recommend the chicken shish! Give a few mins in advance because it is all cooked fresh. They also sell ayran Turkish yogurt drink! JJ and Roni both lovely guys happy and friendly and always up for a chat or just let you do your thing. They put up with Alot on Moulsham street but always smiling and happy to serve. Thank you guys.

Had the mixed Kebab. It was lush. Bit gutted tho as I asked for salad, chilli peppers and garlic sauce and didn't get any of them. Watch them like hawks when they package your dinner!

Nice kebab bought two for me and the missus bit stingy on the sauces maybe should’ve asked for more. Chips were stale but edible the salad was fresh and lovely and the meat was nice

Have ordered take away multiple times chicken and lamb donner from these guys. Everytime foods been good and turns up hot despite us not living in central chelmsford. It's nice that they keep the salad nice and fresh and separately from the kebab. I've been other places where they don't do this and salad has ended up not that nice and soggy. Delivery has always been on time and drivers are always pleasant. The only confusing bit is when you pay online for your order it comes up on your billing statement as ProWeb Design which is very misleading when you placed an order with a kebab shop, could this be updated please to the shop name to avoid confusion?

Never had a bad order from here - Just had a mixed kebab and the lamb chunks melted in my mouth!! Always delivered quickly and still hot!! Great chips and crunchy onion rings!! John G

First time ordering, guy on phone was polite and helpful. Food arrived within the time given, driver was friendly and polite. Kebab portion size was great, chicken was a little dry. Chilli sauce was amazing with a nice bite to it, salad was nice and fresh. Unfortunately it was all a little cold. Chips were cold and limp, not very nice. But the rest was top notch.

I'm all good with spice, but this was so incredibly hot, it was clearly hiding something. My mouth is still on fire. Spice over flavour.

This place does the best takeaway kebabs in Chelmsford. Cracking food! Only downside is that their late night opening times are inaccurate. They advertise 3am at weekends, but frequently shut up shop before 1pm. Gutted if you've had a late one and walk up there hoping to get a tasty kebab! Understandable though, if it's really quiet for them, just not economical to stay open.

The food is first class. Super fresh salad and red cabbage with the kebabs, Cant fault the service at all.

Second time ordered 3 months apart and the the food (mainly chicken) smells and tastes like lighter fluid. Why????? What are you doing to make this happen. Confused how people aren't ill. One smell and bite and my whole dinner AGAIN is in the bin.

Absolute con artists. Take your order and demand payment then prioritise all their friends. To the extent you’re still standing there half an hour later after loads of people who came after you have had there order taken and have also been served. I only ordered a small shish kebab and a small cheesy chips but was never served - a tenner down the drain. This was during a very quiet period. Absolute joke

Ordered for first time this evening and was lovely. Arrived in good time, driver was polite and friendly and even surprised me with a bottle of wine. Food was great and couldn't fault them. Will be a returning customer 🙂

Have been a regular at this place for a while but looks like it's time to try somewhere else. Forgot one of the salads that came with our meal. They were rude on the phone when I called to inform them and rather begrudgingly, promised to send one out to me...needless to say it never arrived. Not the best customer service!! Any recommendations welcome! Heard under new management. So new people in, same food on offer, same website, new delivery fees and no more online discount. Good way to make extra money.

Ordered food at 8:20 with delivery saying will be delivered by 9:15. Got to 9:45 and still nothing so a phone call was made and they said 20mins. Its now 10:30 and still nothing. Finally at 10:50 food turned up but guess what was missing all the salad on both kebabs and chilli sauce and while we waited for them to drop salad and sauce back off (20mins)later all we got from them was a bottle of pepsi. Id of rather of recieved a fresh kebab how i ordered it. This has happened twice here so I'm sorry I will never be going back ever again and I would strongly advise never to use these unless you want to be disappointed.

Please be careful when ordering from here, the manager refuses to offer refund even when part of the order arrives cold and there are items missing from your order.

The food here is hit or miss. When it's good, its bloody brilliant. Order at the wrong time or on the wrong day and its sub par. We were regulars still, spent around £25 per week here. I think they struggle to count though! Especially sauces! If you order extra it's pot luck whether they'll turn up. Recently we ordered 6 garlic sauces with a large order, enough for everyone. The food turned up and the actual dishes were fine, hot, tasty looking, all present & correct! Except there was only 1 garlic sauce. It's happened many times before, they often forget things, so I'll just call them back, they'll nip around with the rest and the food will still be hot... you'd expect. Call up, explain to two different people what's happened. They just can't see the problem. They eventually say they'll bring them. 25 mins later the guy shows up. He has 1 sauce with him and says that's what he was told the bring. He checks the original bill and can see 6 were ordered - you pay extra too! Its £0.50p a tub, which contains about 2 teaspoons of the stuff. I call back... and that's what's wrong with this place, if they make a mistake they can get really rude with you. I explain the foods getting cold now, we don't eat dry kebabs and without the sauce it's just an expensive let down. They don't see the problem, it's just some sauce that's missing - they'll knock a couple quid off the next order. I'm not happy with this and explain that since I've paid a fair few quid to enjoy a meal I want to enjoy all of it - Two of the meals are getting eaten as we speak as they're hungry and will live without the sauces. The rest of us want them though and the food's going to be stone cold. I explain which kebabs can't be eaten and suggest they just re-do that part of the order, send it out with the extra sauces I've paid for and that'll be the end of it. They agree, but say they want the food not already eaten handed back to them. Fair enough, I say. Half an hour goes by and someone shows up to collect the food. I hand it over and ask where the reorder is. He says he was just told to come and collect the food, not bring anything new! It's a matter of principle now - I give him the food and walk down to the shop myself. After explaining everything to two people who just shrug the guy in charge finally comes over. It's the younger one though! Theres one of two guys in charge of this place on any given night. An older one, who will sort anything that's wrong, apologise & acts like he actually appreciates people spending their money there. The younger guy though has a hell of an attitude problem. Has done for years! It's not coincidence that most of the orders we've had go wrong were when he was in charge. So I explain to the younger one again, he just says he doesn't know what's happened and they'll recoil my food and deliver it in half an hour whilst also saying it's just some sauces and asking why I'm so bothered. It's been 2 hrs since I ordered now. I tell him forget it, just refund me for the food eaten and we'll call it a day he says he cant, that needs to be done by the delivery driver. I try to explain this doesn't make sense, but he tells me to go home and he'll send someone round within 30 mins to sort the refund. 30 mins comes and goes. I take a wander down again to find out what's happening and again he says theres nothing that can be done as the driver has the card machine. It's clear he couldn't care less and is annoyed I'd even bother him. Again he asks me to go home and he'll send someone round. Another 40 mins after that the guy turns up with the card machine to process the refund. Incidentally, my partners lamb kofte & the bit of chicken I had out of my kebab were lovely. The rest though, who knows. I went to bed hungry, P!$$3d off and vowing I'll never order again.

The food was amazing me and my partner both had chicken fillet burger meals and both thought they were lovely. Customer service was great friendly and efficient staff. The shop was pristine throughout.

Made an order by phone. Miserable member of staff on the phone. Simple order got wrong! Medium chicken shush kebab with 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Forgot the 3rd portion of chips so attempted to cook a portion in 2 mins. Result uncooked chips! Will NEVER use this place again! Such high hopes. Never mind eh! As key workers trying to support a local business. What a waste of time!!!

The Kebabs are great and so are the lamb ribs. I gave the pizza 2 trys but unfortunately, The pizzas are the worst I have ever had. The burgers are tasteless and so disappointing.

We always get our kebab delivered from here. Food we get is consistently tasty and always delivered on time. We get combination kebab, both with chicken donner with the fat dried off and lamb shish. Best kebab that you can get about Chelmsford and deffinately at the fairest price £17 instead of what seems to be a standard £25-30. Cheers folks at Rosas

I placed an order on line, for 'treat night' at a supported living home. Forgot to add on pots of sauce, phoned through they were added no problem. I kept an eye on the time as I was expecting the delivery, and an ear our for the door bell, as we were in the garden. The second I heard the knock, I walked into the house, & shouting 'coming', which surely he would have heard with the doors and windows open; by the time I walked past the table I had the money sat on ready, he had hammered the door, and walked into the porch and REALLY hammered the inner door with his key literally as I walked out the dining room door and he could see me through the glass door. From the first knock to the final HAMMER on the door, could have been no more than 20 seconds, what if an older person, or someone with mobility problems was trying to get to the door? I have no doubt he would have heard me calling out either, just plain rude. I had the right money ready, plus a small tip. But they hadn't told me on the phone there was a charge for the sauce so he barked 20p short, so I went and got a £2 coin, asked for my change back, which he had already pocketed, took the £2 coin which left him (only) and 80p tip with no attempt to give me my change, I wouldn't have been giving a tip on this instance but I just wanted him gone he was so rude. The food was ok, the 'sausage roll' pictured as an actual sausage roll in pastry arrived as a sausage in a burger bun, so really wasn't pleased about that, and the extra £1 for the pittance of sauce in the smallest size pots you can get was a bit of a cheek, especially as they didn't say on the phone about the extra charge. Would order food from here again, but after the delivery service, absolutely no chance.

My family love this place and yes they got my order wrong once, but I don’t hold it against them. We have one once or twice month I like a chicken wrap. I pick them up on the way home from work and they are great. I even fancy one now as I’m writing this.

Order and paid for meals got home not all there. Phoned said delivery driver finished at 12. I paiď 5.50 for.a portion of chips!! Although very polite got to go back tomorrows foe money back. I'm hungry now

Undercooked chicken! Took kebabs back and employee argued with me insisting it was cooked. Wouldn’t refund me, gave me three pounds back! He then told me he would f.... me up! Unbelievable! Avoid this rat infested and quite frankly unhygienic disgusting establishment that shouldn’t have a license to operate! I’m a chef bye the way

After a busy day out, we called here to pick up some dinner and was not disappointed. We both order a lamb shish kebab which was cooked fresh to our order. It came with rice, salad, sauce and pita bread and was good quality for a good price. Would recommend.

order from here all the time, literally every other order is wrong or cold.its not the restaurant its the delivery driver, when i walk there it is perfect but delivery is shocking, most of the time its a drink missing and says i didn't get charged when i do. the attitude of the guys is astonishing , even living 300 metres from the restaurant my food is still cold... have to warm up every-time

Was in the area Saturday visiting friends. Decided to order pizza. 12" meat feast. Literally the best pizza I've ever had. Totally amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic kebabs, only small complaint is that chilli sauce could be less watery. Don’t hate me at Christmas uncle Bill, just don’t bring your chilli sauce!

I purchased the family deal from here. Delivery took 1 hour and when it arrived it was not what I expected.

Best place in town with real charcoal grill, reasonable prices with excellent taste and service. They even do delivery!! Highly recommended..

Don't look at the low ratings of this place. This place serves quality food and has good customer service. I'm more than happy and wouldn't order form anywhere else.

I have no problem with the food they provide however they seem to make up their prices. My partner and I ordered a pizza meal deal on the 14/04/2018. The deal is advertised as 10.99 on window of the shop and even on the menu which they even said was up to date. However when we went to pay for it they said it was 14.95. I pretty sure they are not allowed to just put up prices. If they advertise a certain price they have to sell it to you for that price.

I visited Rosa’s Kebab on 17/02/18 and placed a food order. When I tried to pay for the food by credit card I was told I would have to pay a surcharge. I pointed out that since 13th January 2018 this is not allowed and was told that they did not believe this applied to them: a) because the business’ owner had not told them to stop surcharging, and b) because this was an EU regulation that did not apply to them.

We regularly order from here, all the kebabs come delivered with rice, the quality is what sets this place apart, all perfect, not fatty or greasy. I tried the vegetarian one which was houlomi and grilled vegetables and now I’m addicted.

Orderd on the 20th August 2017 at around 3pm firstly the portions are tiny for the price had to ask for extra large which looked like a medium. We orderd rice with our kebab was given stone cold hummus how do you even get those mixed up. Place seems to be owned by clowns when we arrived home we noticed no rice and ONE pitta bread for a extra large kebab. Then we called to complain and asked for the rice to be delivered the guy didn't seem bothered and said he didn't know when we would get the rice what an utter joke of a business. In the end the rice was not even delivered. Food is flavourless and greasy Won't ever return or recommend!

To start on a positive note the portion sizes are really good and for the money you pay I think it was good value for money. The food did taste nice and I can't really fault it but out of personal preference I prefer my normal kebab takeaway. I just thinks it tastes nicer.
