Alaturka Doner in Daventry

The best dishes have a way of creating memories, connecting us to a place, a culture, or a special moment. It’s not just about the ingredients but also the care and love with which they’re prepared. Good food, today I had ordered Jack fruit Biryani and chicken Biryani really so delicious.

Tried this place for Lunch at work and the food was lovely not greasy or anything , was very tasty and more food than we thought based on other peoples reviews saying portion sizes were small. would reccomend this place.

I ordered a burger and when I ordered it, I asked what they put in it because the name sounded weird. If I wanted to eat doner in burger buns, I would say doner in burger bun. When I came back and said this they said you chose. I will never eat it again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

First visit and really impressed 👍🏻 great, friendly service and delicious food served hot and fresh. We had an elite Donner meal and a wrap meal, both really tasty and good value. Turkish coffee and Turkish delight, both good too 😋

Worts and most expensive shish i have seen Ordered 1 chicken and 3 lamb shish and they wrapped 4 lamb in a way that i couldn’t see until i get home

My husband and l had a takeaway from here last night, it was one of the best we've had in years. The meat is so well marinated and the salad was fresh and delicious, ld highly recommend.

Fantastic food! Chicken burger was one of the best I’ve had! However the only reason I haven’t given it 5 star is because I paid almost £10 for a chicken burger chips and drink. Other than that, amazing food and good to see some halal food in Daventry

Excellent takeaway with dine-in experience. We ate dinner on a very quiet Sunday evening. It was a great experience, I'd liken it to enjoying a Harvester or Nandos but with a Turkish spin. It's a very very clean, very fresh dining experience, great staff, very eager to please, food was quickly prepared, fresh, piping hot and very well seasoned. I'm a massive fan of Alacati Grill across town, and I don't see this place as being direct competition because of the very different price scale and experience. When I want a weekly treat out, ill consider Alaturka, and Alacati is more of a very special occasion maybe 2-3 times a year, and I think Alaturka knows this. Don't miss out, its a high quality place, great prices, recommend the chilli sauce! Great kid's options too.

Was given a recommendation to try this place . Very nice mixed kebab with quality meats lovely bread and flavoursome sauces... The man in the shop said I would enjoy the quality... And he was right... a delicious kebab . Proper restaurant quality in a take away ..

Best kebabs anywhere! Never mind just Daventry. The quality is second to none. No grease or fat at all and tastes amazing. Staff are lovely and the prices are very fair for what you get. Highly recommend 👍

Great friendly service, I had the mixed meat doner and is was absolutely delicious. Lovely fresh salad and perfectly cooked chips. Portion size was fairly small for a meal but excellent food. The Turkish delight was fantastic too.

Always a delicious meal here. Favorites are the halloumi rice box, feta and olive pide and daughter likes the chicken shish. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Feel very welcomed each time we pop in for a quick bite and chilled out meal. Friendly service, and we frequently return knowing we will have good food. Seems to have long opening hours (11am to 11pm - 7 days a week), so whatever time of day we feel hungry we know we can eat here enjoyably or grab a quick take-out if we're in more of a hurry. Highly recommend. Also a great stop pre or post visit to the Arc Cinema!

Visited on 25.03.2023 after the cinema. Chose the Lahmacun Wrap meal with Hummas and mint yogurt dip. Food was amazing, so tasty and we also had Deluxe Doner and a cheese and bacon burger which looked so tasty. Everything was cooked fresh and the service was excellent. Very friendly and will definitely return

Went there once, guy who owns the place or is the manager needs to calm down, all over us faffing about while we’re eating, asked us how the food was twice and wanted a chat. Felt like I was eating at his dads house not at a restaurant. Food over priced for basic donner and rice.

Very disappointing. The pide was dry as were the chips and the doner meat greasy otherwise unremarkable, salad and sauces so-so. Expensive in comparison with the other vendors nearby and nowhere near their quality. Also it’s not a good idea to contradict the customer regarding collection time despite showing him the confirmation I received from them.

We visited this evening for the first time and will definitely eat there again. I had no idea that this little restaurant was here, I had thought it was just a take away. The restaurant was immaculately clean and well presented as were the staff. The food was cooked freshly and was delicious, fresh and very good value for money. Such a delight eating here: the food was excellent. Having lunch here was a pleasure for both me and my children. And also a very cosy and spacious interior with a loveable atmosphere, great for spending an afternoon with friends and family.

I used to be a doner kebab hater, until I found this place! Always so fresh and delicious, great quality meat and flavour. The chips are always crisp and perfectly cooked. Filling portion sizes and perfectly seasoned with fluffy wraps, and a wide selection of sauces. Chip shop kebabs could never compare!

Really disappointed. We just had chicken wrap which didn't taste fresh at all... I'm hoping we won't get food poison. Meat was stinking. I won't be ordering again.

I am always on the lookout for new eating establishments and the first thing I look for is cleanliness.The place is spotless and the owner is a true professional. The food was extremely tasty and I will be back again to try something else. Those that have complained about timing need to remember that this is freshly cooked food and not a typical kebab house and that it's a very new place. My order came to me very quickly. Its the best place I have eaten out in Daventry so far by a long shot.

had an amazing donner . The meat is marinated in the premises and vooked fresh. they served a freshly prepared salad with it and the turkish coffee and frrshly squeezed orange juice is delightful. well worth a trip. you wont be disappointed. So much more, and better, than a normal kebab shop! The kebabs are delicious! The salad boxes has a huge amount of meat in and the kids meals are also a great size. And the chips are the BEST!

This is not your bog standard greasy mystery meat kebab shop. It's a nice little diner serving quality food made from good ingredients. Definitely worth a try.

This restaurant is one of it's kind. So tastyyyyy, fresh meat and chicken, the French fries is so delicious looks like it's homemade. I've never tasted such wonderful and tasty doner before. The staff were very friendly and professional and makes you feel comfortable. Recommended and recommended.

I tried Alaturka for the first time a couple of days ago and will be going back. The food is delicious and friendly service

Had chicken salad box with a side of hallumi (i asked if i could add some into my salad but no option other than a full side dish of 4 slices), food was nice but quite pricey coming to around 13/14 quid which was more than my partners large pizza from dominos next door. Unfortunately thought the chicken would have been on a skewer and cooked to order but was the rotating shaved chicken making it quite tough in places. The salad was yummy and I was asked what I wanted, I opted for all no onions. The hallumi was cooked nicely. The chilli sauce was really yummy! The owner gave me a cold drink while I waited which was nice, especially considering the heat outside!

I wish I had tried this place sooner - or maybe its a good idea that I hadn't now I know how nice the food is, as I can see me going back frequently. Had the large mixed diner - now I can pack food away but it was almost too much - full of meat and a nice salad that definitely wasn't there as "filler" as some places do to make up for being skimpy on the meat. This was all meat. I've just found the kebab shop that surpasses the one near my parents that I judge all other kebab shops by.

We're getting spoiled for choice lately in Daventry. Every new restaurant that is opened is better than the previous one. This one is no different.... Straight to the top of my list. Their "elite doner" exactly as I like it . Homemade bread , small pieces of meat , well balanced salad + optional mint and yoghurt sauce. Can't recommend it enough. Don't forget to finish it off with the Turkish tea.

Criminally underrated fast food restaurant. There simply isn't anything better in Daventry. Period.

Pide and lamachun bear no resemblence to authentic turkish, my wife who is turkish found it inedible although the dogs ate it later.

Have now been to this new Turkish cafe/takeaway a few times. Food is always delicious and plentiful. We usually have the feta and olive pide. A very generous portion that you can have as a meal with chips and a drink. I also love the halloumi rice box. Another freshly prepared dish with rice and salad. Food is always freshly cooked, and if a little busier, it's well worth the wait. Also a chilled place to sit with a glass of Turkish tea. They seem to be open long hours, so no matter what time of day we feel like having some tasty food, even late afternoon like today's visit, we often end up here. A really lovely change from all the samey coffee shops in Daventry. Highly recommend.

Day light Robbery! £35 to have 2 boxes of chicken and rice delivered That wouldnt even fill up a 5 year old so disappointed and feel robbed I could of made both boxes for a fiver I’m just so shocked that they get away with charging that

Best Doner in Daventry by far! Incredible meat, proper chilli sauce, great homemade hummus, perfect fries and even the pita bread is next-level good. Really nice and warm inside too with plush seating and nice music. Owner really cares and it shows.

loved this place when first opened. went all the time but went in yesterday and prises have gone up!!! by ALOT. understand things are going up but husband worked out something have gone up by 30%!!! won't b going in as much now. I do feel like you could get alot more elsewhere for same price.

We popped in for a quick meal before going to the cinema, and it was outstanding!! Perfect size menu, not these over-facing complex ones you often get, and the food is all freshly cooked. The meat is proper meat too, not this reformed rubbish you get in many. One thing they also don't do here is pack the (freshly cooked) bread full of salad to make it appear you are getting more for your money. Authentic food, very clean, and very friendly staff. Oh, and the baklava with ice-cream are just the best! Not too sweet, and really tasty! I think we have found our new local!! Thanks Mohammed!

I had heard good reviews on this new eatery and decided to try it. Me and my husband were not disappointed. The restaurant was spotless and the service friendly and attentive. I have never had a Doner kebab before and was not disappointed with the one I ate. The meat was tasty and real not reformed offcuts and the bread soft and very tasty again freshly made. We also tried the homemade Baklava with ice cream it was absolutely delicious and a must to try. We will be going again soon .

My family and I have just enjoyed a freebie chicken and lettuce pitta from here (being handed out on the street in Daventry). It was absolutely delicious and so tasty! Would highly recommend.
