The best restaurants serving Turkish food in England

We went for a late lunch on Sunday. The food was fantastic and the service couldn’t have been better. High Ongar is a little out of the way but it’s definitely worth a visit. We will definitely be back 😊

The food was amazing and was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The decor was calming and welcoming . It was a great evening.

I thought it would be a great idea to have a nice lunch with my best-friend untill we recieved a cheesy spinach gözleme with a snail inside the filling that even had its shell and the inside was moving it was disgusting .I showed the worker and all they did was say sorry and offered to give me another one rather than a refund .Obsviously I wouldn’t choose to eat another one as I’m not sure what could come out next !!!I am disappointed it was a sickening behaviour and unhygienic environment .Would not recommend to any one !!

My friend and I were in London for just 1 day. It was raining and we decided to find somewhere to eat. I'm so pleased that we found the warm and welcoming ambience of Sofra Oxford St branch. What a positive, elegant space with attentive and polite staff, delicious food and gracious owner Dr Huseyin Ozer who took the time to say hello. I can certainly reccomend and will be returning again soon!

First visit to this wonderful restaurant. Immaculate inside and warm, goodness that's rare these days in eating places. But it was very comfortable. Limited menu, but absolutely delicious food and so reasonably priced. A lovely waitress looked after us, checking everything was OK. Gold star for looking after me the awkward eater, that was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Order was totally wrong and when I called the restaurant they were very rude. It’s not the first time they have messed up on the order

Hamburguesa con patatas fritas. Muy salado (no tengo sal) muy seco e insípido. 50 , también tuvo que pedir dos veces bebida dietética. El personal era muy amable, pero estaban muy ocupados.

What a great experience, Great menu with lots of choice. Light choices through to monster portions, something for everyone. Food was delicious but the theatre that came with our order was brilliant!! Fire flames, dry ice, dancing and singing, the staff were absolutely brilliant and all went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made it such a fun evening.

Rude owner Disappointed! Went on a Saturday afternoon wasn’t very busy so thought we would get good service however wrong dish was given very very rude owner instead of apologising he was rudely telling us why we was eating it when we didn’t, basically arguing & shouting at us to tell us it was the right dish when we’ve eaten at many turkish places 100% wasn’t. Never going back waste of money
