Just 2 of us out for an anniversary meal, so we thought we’d try something a bit different and new to the area. Ordering drinks was straightforward- but took a little time to come. The food ordering was good with advice on allergies. The meal in itself was amazing. We shared a cold meze platter which was delicious. It was a shame our mains came before we had finished the starters so no time to digest in between. Husband had the mixed grill which was perfectly cooked - chicken wings, a couple of different kebabs and Turkish sausage. I had Chicken Beyti Sarma - stunning, just couldn’t eat it all. Took my leftovers home. There were no desserts or coffee offered so presumably that’s not on offer. Shame about the feeling of being rushed, but maybe , as they’re a fairly new business, this is something they need to address.

Group of six went and were very impressed with this relatively new restaurant. We had a mixed grill for four including 4 cold meze starters and an extra lamb chops and also a sea bass. All the food was very good specially the lamb chops which everyone was raving about. The Efes beers were well chilled as was the white wine. Really good service from both the chef and waiter. Overall a great night and fantastic value - would highly recommend.

So, this place has been open for a few months but has yet to get an established client base, but don't be deterred from going. We visited as a group of 4 and when we arrived we were the first ones there. This meant we were fortunate to have the full attention of the staff and experienced great service. We each tried a different starter and main - I had the sea bass - and all really enjoyed it. Following the wine recommendation, we tried a Turkish wine for £21, which went well with the food and felt like a decent price. Definitely one to try, especially if you want a break from the city centre.

My wife and I came here on a Sunday evening. Tunc was very nice to us. He works for the owner. Food was excellent and the price reasonable. It is also few minutes drive from the Brighton station or maybe a £5-8 Uber journey. We shall come back!

We were a group and shared all the vegetarian starters which were lovely and the bread was delicious. Main courses were substantial and really tasty with generous salads on the side The super-friendly staff picked up it was a birthday celebration and brought out baclava with candles and the kitchen staff came out to sing happy birthday. A really lovely special restaurant. Highly recommended

Visited with my wife a couple of weeks ago. Friendly service, complimentary olives. We shared a delicious liver starter with amazing bread. Seriously good and a decent portion. I had the mixed grill which was excellent and my wife had the chicken wings which were also good. Really nice to have a decent restaurant on Lewes Rd, look forward to going back soon. Highly recommended. Try the wine.

Very pleased to see new restaurant near Elm Grove, had lunch here. The braised liver starters was just how I like it, bouncy, and the sauce was delicious. Mousaka was good too. Although heating was still broken, Tunç had set up some plug-in heaters so it was warm!

We ate here last night for the second time. It is very quiet, which is a real shame. IIncredible value for the quality and freshness of the food. Great deal on mezze and the salads are fresh, loads of fresh herbs and flavours, even the bread is fresh and delicious. We pigged out on the mixed grill for two. Everything was perfectly cooked. We are delighted to have such a nice place to eat in the area at last

Such a fan of Turkish culture. Restaurant does look a little spartan on viewing. Took the plunge based upon a friends advice that the food was good, so we did. The weather is changing seasons from summer to autumn, and the place was cold. Struggled with the cold. Received the food which was ok good. This would not faze me normally, but the temperature, mixed with the insipid Turkish style music almost dialed a miserable experience. Advice.. this could be a hip place since you have the food, by turning up the thermostat and investing in a projector to play Gaye Su Akyol, Selda Bagcan and others.. folks will be queuing up at the door! other tips.. the place is new so no card machine only ca$h.. unforgivable in this day since I have used iZettle for similar. I'm sure such a new restaurant that we want to succeed will overcome natural teething troubles, based on feedback from it's new locals wishing it the best.

Popped in for a couple of boreks and a coffee yesterday. Always enjoy the Simit Palace. Staff always super friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere. Our favourite cafe in Hove. Highly recommend that you give it a try 👌

This family run business is an absolute gem. Fantastic home cooked Turkish food made with fresh produce from the equally brilliant grocers run by the same family, which sits like an open treasure chest nextdoor. They offer all the favourites, from gozleme to borek and delicious homemade soups, as well as speciality patisserie with recipes from their home city in the south east of Turkey. Not only does it do excellent food at a really reasonable price, but it contributes to a sense of community and bustle that ailing high streets so desperately need. We're really lucky to have such a fantastic place in Brighton.

We stopped in here on our way home from dinner. At first we thought it was a regular bakery, if you’ve ever been to Brighton you know there are many, however we were very wrong. We both had the Oreo cake and it was DELICIOUS. A really tasty cake that wasn’t too sweet and was the perfect after dinner dessert. The only down side is that there isn’t a Dolce Vita in my home town haha!
