Gözleme House in Haringey

I thought it would be a great idea to have a nice lunch with my best-friend untill we recieved a cheesy spinach gözleme with a snail inside the filling that even had its shell and the inside was moving it was disgusting .I showed the worker and all they did was say sorry and offered to give me another one rather than a refund .Obsviously I wouldn’t choose to eat another one as I’m not sure what could come out next !!!I am disappointed it was a sickening behaviour and unhygienic environment .Would not recommend to any one !!

Beautiful Space ..Beautiful Decor .Great Customer Service ! Very Recommended ! Although I only come here for a coffee..I believe the Great Service must extende to anyone and everyone whatever you're having ! They also do Birthday and Weddings Cakes !! Just thought You might want to know ! 😊

I would give 100 stars 🌟out of 5 for the feeling everytine I leave this un assuming pocket of hidden Joy on Mare Street! The moment you walk in you feel the LOVE, the moment you taste that fresh Gozleme, straight from the Hotplate, you taste MADE WITH LOVE.... returning customers always come back and shout through the open door! "That flat bread I had last week.... absolutely LOVED IT!" The Hype is Real people! No matter how many times I have one, each one is an occasion of ecstatic joy! It's not only the Gozleme's you have to try, my new favourite is the Turkish breakfast! ...the winning way to start your day. Hussain and his beautiful wife deserve all the plaudits for what they have worked so hard to create. You won't be disappointed!!!

Estábamos intrigados por la fabricación de alimentos que se pueden ver en la ventana delantera. Y no nos decepcionó! Es muy simple: pan fino con relleno para satisfacer a los vegetarianos, veganos y consumidores de carne. Disfrutamos el almuerzo en la tienda, y la comida y el ambiente era genial. Dirigido por mujeres y muy recomendable para un almuerzo, merienda o desayuno tardío.

Decidí aparecer mientras hacía las compras en Green Lanes. Gozlemes eran geniales, muy sabrosos y frescos. Tenía 2:) y un poco de té. ¿Se las arregló para gastar 7?

We decided spontaneously to have breakfast there despite our plans to do so in a near Turkish restaurant. The reason why was to try their main dish the gozleme (pastries). The lamb was very good, the one stuffed with cheese was good also. Now the reason why I gave five stars is their stuffed meat balls ( wheat balls stuffed with lamb meat). They were more than fantastic.

We’ve been popping into this places for ages. We always do a takeaway, so have never actually sat down. Its always busy when we’ve popped in. The whole team are friendly and polite. The ladies making the fresh gozleme are really nice and experts in what they do, amazing to watch them in action. All the flavours are nice, and i always buy 4/5 whenever in the area. They freeze brilliantly are a great lunch when you cant be bothered to cook at home. They are slightly thinner and lees heavy then the Pakistani parathas I’m used to, just as tasty though.

Excellent food very tasty and fresh the staff very friendly good with children good price and the turkish tea is very nice with a mellow taste ! Definitely a place I recommend for the family my number one place to visit when I travel through Haringey !

Harringay is well known as a Turkish spot in London, with exotic shops selling gold, nuts, and to our delight lovely Turkish street food. Gozleme is a stuffed turkish flat bread, I wonder if you could find a better or more authentic place in London to enjoy the amazing dish than The Gozleme House. Informal , cafe environment open all day. The varieties of Gozeleme include lamb, potato, mozzarella and spinach among many. All to be washed down with the refreshing yoghurt drink that's being churned or someTurkish coffee. Not to forget freshly made Baklawas. If you have a sweet tooth, I'd definitely recommend to try the freshly made Kunefe at this place. Good food and service do not have to come at a Michelin star price always. Here it'd be difficult to spend more than £25 for a sumptuous meal for two ! Gozeleme breads are made at the shopfront, you can see and enjoy the process as well. The cafe is family run and has a very homely but local hotspot vibe to it , be it in the delicious food or the laid back ambiance or the lovely service. I'd definitely come back and bring friends. Would highly recommend Gozleme House to anyone who wants to go beyond just the Kebabs in Turkish cuisine in an authentic setup.

Nice to see the women working on the bread through the shop window. The fresh baked are nice and they have a variety on offer. Would revisit to try other flavours.

Fantastic gözleme and beautiful içli köfte and also friendly service. Tastier than the ones offered at Taksim further towards harringay green lanes station.

After wanting to go for ages, we finally tried the gozleme shop opposite our street and thoroughly enjoyed it! One had spinach and cheese and one had lamb and both were delicious. Could have been a little warmer but maybe it was because we carried them home rather than eat straight away. The fried mince pasties were also fantastic, as was the baklava! Definitely will visit again.

Been here with a friend mid afternoon for a quick eat and couldn't be less surprised to taste their gözleme. They are just amazing! Really traditional taste.

Best gözleme I have ever had including in Turkey! I also was lucky to get fresh içli köfte which were delicious. Highly recommend.

Lots of variety very tasty menu and good value for money definately worth a visit if you are in the local area

Friendly staff and the best gözleme round here! Try the halloumi or the mozzarella, pepper and mushroom ones. Also a nice spot to sit with a tea with gözleme and chat.
