Adana Sofrası in Haringey

Came for a kebab and was NOT disappointed. Succulent cuts of lamb wrapped in the best bread with salad and garlic sauce! And the serving size - HUGE! Superb!!

It was amazing! We decided to see the local restaurants and we were referred to this place and it was great. We went in and were warmly greeted, it was a quiet Sunday afternoon so we had our choice of seats. The starters were very nice I tried falafel with hummus which was surprisingly tasty. The others ordered liver but I was not a fan of liver so I didn’t like it very much. We had the Adana Sofrasi Special 1 (3 Persons), and boy it was great. Chicken, lamb, shiskebab you name it on a bed of rice and bulgar all well cooked, well seasoned. The few cons I had which were not much is the decor of the restaurant looks very dated and could be upgraded. The lamb was quite oily, they did not have free glass of water so we had to buy a few bottles. Aside from that it was a really nice experience, music was good not overpowering. I would recommend and will be going back when I visit again.

Been coming here for past couple of years. Great food, decent price, and good service. Had lunch with my Father and step Mother on his bday. Was a good meal and experience. I can't think of any negative issues we might have had during our visit. For a good Turkish meal, I highly recommend this establishment.

Your standard Turkish restaurant to be honest, good food, friendly staff and clean restaurant. Halal, they take card payment and cash There is a paid car park a few minutes walk away, which is handy

Lovely place on the High Street, eaten in several times here now, very generous portions, tasty food and warm service. Ask for a doggy bag if you can't eat it all. Great menu and they serve a cold Efes which is always a bonus.

Got delivery. It was just a kid's lamb donner wrap (which has lamb and lettuce) and the the size is enough for an average eater. The lamb was so tasty, it reminded me of a dish we have in Singapore. I hope you guys never change the cuts used to make the donner 💛💛 thank you for the delicious food.

I live in Putney; South West London. Today, September the 5th. 2023, I had to go to Tottenham near the White Heat Lane stadium to collect a certificate. Now and again, we treat ourselves with a proper döner kebab. There are only, just only three kebap restaurants in the whole of London from where I buy döner kebab. I am, as a Türk, of course a kebab connoisseur While I was in Tottenham As I know Adana Sofrası prepares the most delicious kebabs, I popped in and orderred döner kebap and lahmacun. All wrapped up well and two hours later in Putney we enjoyed Adana Sofrası Döner Kebap. The meat was really delicioous; texture of kebap slices melted in the mouth. I normally do not a wirte such reviews. But this restaurant: Adana Sofrasi in Tottenham deserves every applauding.

First time ordering from this place and it has to be one of the worse doners I've ever had 🤢 the meat was hard/stale and looked like it had been laying around for quite some time and it also had a gone off weird taste. I won't recommend it at all and tbh with food like that the shop should be closed

3rd time disappointed. The food was stale, salad soagy, the portions have been cut. Meat cutlets and bone’s basically I wouldn’t recommend going forth.

Its a very good doner shop but the only thing i can consider the portion size are waay to big for a single person. Cannot eat all that food they offer take away boxex but once fries get cold n chicken i not eatable any longer.

Don't buy from Adana Sofrasi. It is a SCAM. I just bought lamb kebab .They took 3 sticks full with meat and started to cook. Was surprised when they said that cost just 10£. During the preparation I went to next supermarket to buy some tomatoes 🍅. When I came back they gave me the pack with food. At home when I open were just half of that meat ,even less. Even were and other meat or leftovers. The meat were thin(not nice pieces how were on sticks, burned) . Don't waste your money. They are crooks. Never again to go there .

10/10. ordered a chicken doner and chips for myself and it could feed a small village. very generous portions MashaAllah and the food was really nice and came quickly

Not happy with the food at all, i received a burnt liver and hard to eat so i had to throw it in the bin which was waste of money also my husband ordered chicken doner which was worse also burnt he couldn't eat it at all. All and all waste of money and will not order from them anymore.

The best kebab shop in all of London! Delicious food and great atmosphere. Ask Adil and Ziyai for reconditions. Friendly and kind people. I eat here regularly. Could not recommend more.

Went on way to Spurs game so was busy. Bit of a squeeze with the seating but can't blame them. Had small chicken sheesh. Disappointed with amount of chicken served for the cost. More of a children's portion. Service good though.

I usually come to this place for my lamachun, today will be the last time they receive my money. Absolutely abysmal service. We went in there right after a spurs match, however we we’re able to make our order just before the stampede arrived. We made a takeaway order for some meat as well as 2 portions of chips. When they handed over the food, they then divulged that they’d only put 1 portion of chips because they want to prioritise the other customers (THAT HAD ARRIVED AFTER US) I could not believe the cheekiness. They also increased the price arbitrarily when asked for extra chilli sauce, imagine that after changing our order to favour other customers the LEAST they could do is give us some free sauce. I refuse to give my money to people who don’t respect my custom. Good luck to you

Wonderfull place to eat, tasty food!

Me and my friend came in the evening and the restaurant has a few other customers. We were immediately greeted by a lady with a big smile called Amanda. She let us choose where to sit and she was so welcoming and polite. Professional, 5* customer service, friendly, energetic and just so lovely. She made us feel very welcome. She greeted us and made sure to let us order drinks before ordering food. We ordered a Ribena and a beer. She even made sure we were given bread & even extra bread, ,2 plates of dips for the bread and a plate of salad. We ordered the chicken special platter and it was huge. The portion was enough to feed aleast 2-3 people and the smell was just wonderful. The red pepper and onion paste was so delicious and the platter itself was a feast. The tables were clean and the cuttlery and plates were brought out after we ordered our food. Amanda even made sure to offer us Turkish tea and even desserts but we were so stuffed. This restaurant has been the best restaurant I have been to in ages. The bill came in a small wooden treasure box which was such a nice little touch. Upon recieving our bill Amanda even drew a small smiley face with Santa's hat. In this area I've never been to a place where the service was so top notch, the food was delicious and the staff were genuine. Thanks for the great meals guys. We will definitely be coming back (:

Today morning I decided I try something new. … and it was their takeaway food. It was well packed (… as you can in my pictures.) I liked it very much. .. but the biggest surprise was in it (… at least for me) the taste of the salad (… cut vegetables with 🍋 juice .) I never thought it can be delicious.

Absolutely awful. First time order from here, food not fresh, chilli sauce gone off, still tried to manage to continue eat the pulled out long brown hair from my mouth… absolutely appalling. Complained it ended up in arguments. Unbelievable..

The restaurant is ordinary. Food is not so qualities.. The setting resembles a café rather than a restaurant. Still, it's good for a quick dinner.

Please do not order from this restaurant they changed there lamb doner and did not advertise so when I took back my order the basically told me it though there's noi can do about it . The woman owner was run abd5the staff tried to attack me proper customer service never ever in any circumstances order from here unless u do t mind throwing your money away.

Been a regular here for 5 years, until a fat, hairy dude at the grill decided to haggle the price of salad when I kindly asked that it be served separately as the juice leaks into the food. Tacky. Won't be going back, as also on several other occasions they've served me chicken that wasn't properly cooked!

My favourite local Turkish! Fresh and tasty food, cooked in front of you, the chicken donner is sooo good and really a decent portion and reasonable price for a large! The mixed rice is amazing, you get half and half bulgur wheat and rice with chickpeas, very tasty. The lahmacun is so fresh they bake it while you wait. Friendly and helpful staff!

I ordered from here, it arrived quickly and was a pretty decent meal. No complaints at all. They threw in a nice little rice pudding type of desert for free so that was a nice surprise. To be fair, the chicken beyti was really nice.

People it’s very nice but food to old rise and cous cous from yesterday. Inside have one boy back to me watch mafia film,and some kids they are playing.They don’t have any nice music, and they speak own language I don’t prefer thanks ...

I didn't like the fact that I was told to sit on the same table as someone else when the restaurant was near empty, and there were plenty of other seats available.

Holds its own amongst the Turkish restaurants of North London. The stuffed aubergine (imam bayildi) was a stand out. Great value.

Superb fantastic authentic Turkish food. The new namr of the place is ADANA SOFRASI. This food reminds me of my childhood of cotton fields and small restaurants. I had soup lovely medintarianan salad , rice , traditional beans cassorrole..Delicious. Highly recommended this place. Just near by Tottenham Police station. The family run business gives attention to every details. Very clean 5* hygine ratings.Loved it.

Ordered soup and Turkish Pizza. The soup (should have been lentil) tasted watered down and had a hint of some type of thickener - perhaps semolina or tapioca. When I asked for a container to put the Turkish pizza in so I could separate this from the salad (to take away), they wanted me to pay 50p for a polystyrene container. I'm pretty sure you can buy 50 containers for 50p. Bad show Odun Ates!

Fabulous authentic Turkish food. One of the best I’ve tried ever. And I’ve tried many!

Looks nice, they are friendly in service, and the most good taste very well. Good price value. But if you order medium rear you got medium. And only the half of the lamb shops are so. The other half was dry like sand in the Sahara. So knowing what medium rear is, might be a mistake. And I order it specifyc. I was not amused.

I go here for the soup, it's nice. Not a fan of their kebabs though, they don't have the finesse of others Turkish restaurant like in Green Lane. The owners are very welcoming the waiters all speak excellent English

One of my favourite Turkish restaurants in Tottenham! Cosy and very high standards can be found in this restaurant. Everything is cooked on the spot so the food is very fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I usually do take aways and they are so generous with the portions! Pidas or bread based dishes are cooked on the spot. Great food!
