This is the right address to go to eat Turkish style food in Wood Green. We went for dinner on my birthday. Appetizers and meals were delicious. Only the stuffed meatballs were boiled instead of fried, other than that everything was good. It was also enjoyable to be able to drink Turkish tea after the meal. We would also like to thank our brother Yavuz who helped us with the service. It is obvious that he loves his job. I am writing his name specifically.

We sat in the outside plant lined area and its calm shade was welcome after the hurly burly of Wood Green. Excellent service and a lovely light lunch of mazes was enjoyed. Everything fresh and plentiful.

Great turkish restaurant with authentic Turkish food , nit farm from wood green station

Very friendly, polite respectful and helpful staff - we had an elderly couple with us and all staff were great. Coffee and hot chocolate served to our friends. Prices very good and great tasting food. Dips and bread for the table when we sat down, plus cake and Turkish tea at the end - very generous.

The staff were very helpful. Very considerate, that we had a 2 year old child with us, and helped extra. The food and price was very fair. Was surprised that the bill came to what it came to. Thought it would be a lot more. Definitely worth the visit. Their pre meal bread and starters are on the top tier of many Turkish restaurants. Only problem is parking. Wood green parking is expensive if you go on the weekends.

The staff working on the 6th of April on the 2nd floor were amazing. They were very hospitable, constantly checking on us. They were engaging with my friend's son and gave him little presents. The food was delicious, and we loved the complimentary starters. They constantly replenished our table with freshly made turkish bread. I definitely recommend it. Sorry, I don't remember their names.

Came here for eid understood that the restaurant was obviously very busy yet 5 families arriving after us received their food before us .With us waiting over an hour for our platter. When questioned about the wait there was either the lie that it was the next thing coming out or brushing it off. Most definitely won’t be coming here ever again.

This is easily one of the best Turkish restaurants I have ever been to in London and is one of my all-time favourites. Every visit is a fantastic experience and the food never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff who always ensure you are comfortable. The generous portion sizes they offer is truly great value for your money. They also offer complimentary bread and Turkish salad beforehand which is a lovely touch and makes the meal even more satisfying. The food itself is absolutely delicious, packed with authentic Turkish flavours and cooked to perfection. Everything is prepared with high quality ingredients and great attention to detail. There is always seating available so you never have to worry about long waiting times, even on busy occasions. The service provided is exceptional; staff who are attentive, polite and efficient. They ensure that you are well taken care of which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. Every time we have an event in Wood Green, I always come to this restaurant and it has never let me down. Whether you are dining with family, friends or even for a solo meal, this place is a must visit for anyone who loves Turkish cuisine. I highly recommend it!

Tasty kebabs and big portion sizes, Highly recommend

Never again. Seriously the worst Turkish restaurant in London. The food is awful. I tried to order lamb shank, but they never have it. I then tried to order another stew but they never had it. They brought me these dried up wrapped vine leaf with hardly any meat and with bulgar inside instead of rice. It was dry and tasteless. Their chips are tasteless cheap frozen. The calamari came without lemon and the salad was tasteless.

Lovely lunch before going to watch the Saracens game at White Hart Lane. Food was excellent and the service was both relaxed and friendly. The restaurant was busy, which is good sign. Will come back soon.

Lovely Turkish breakfast with a very generous portion, the service was great I couldn't fault it and the outdoor seating is nice although it is loud due to being just by the main road so I think sitting indoors is better if you want to relax. I've dined at 2 different Capital restaurants multiple times and they're consistently good 👍🏻

Everything is really delicious. All the portions are big. And complimentary meze plates and salads and dessert in the end are really satisfying

I eat here regularly, if I don’t dine in I takeaway and the food is always absolutely delicious. Of all the Turkish restaurants in Wood Green and haringey they are by far the best and most value for money. I have never had a bad experience in all my time dining here

I visited "Capital" on the last Thursday in January. It was an excellent dining experience. From the moment I walked in till the moment I left, the service was excellent - prompt, efficient and polite. Many other more sluggish restaurants could learn how to operate more effectively from the staff at "Capital". There was no drumming of fingers on the table, gazing around and wondering when the menu might finally arrive or when the requested bill might appear. The food was scrumptious. At "Capital" as in many Turkish restaurants, you receive free appetisers before the main meal arrives. Mine consisted of lovely warm pitta bread, a bowl of colourful salad, a serving dish of hummus, another of tzatziki and a third of some kind of tomato-based salsa. It was all fresh and delicious. Before the initial spread was finished my lamb shish kebab arrived with grilled peppers, rice and some more homemade pitta bread. The meat was cooked to perfection - tender and tasty. I have sung the praises of "Capital" to my family and friends and I am gobsmacked that the restaurant has attracted a handful of negative reviews. To me, "Capital" was brilliant

I went into this branch to order a meal to take home. The service was good. I was offered tea while I was waiting, which I found nice, not all places do that. I enjoyed every part of my meal it was nice, fresh, and the potion was large. I had enough food left over for lunch and dinner the next day.

Nice food, good place, service a bit slow but they were so busy. Doesn't look appealing from outside but inside of the shop is a different story with a nice atmosphere. Food was varied and tasted good.

I am giving 2 stars; because the food was not as good as it once was. Very busy today in the restaurant! I ordered some doner kebab; the guy got my order wrong but made changes immediately. I was overcharged which was bizarre considering he knew what I ordered. I did not complain or make a big fuzz because, I'll win my money back on the scratch-card I brought earlier.

We came without reservation, and we had a table immediately. We ordered mix seafood. While we were waiting for our main, the staff served us free salad, warm bread, hummus and yogurt sauce!! Our main plate was a big portion of really fresh seafood (king prawns, mussels, salmon, calamari in a tomato and pepper sauce). We asked for more bread, they did not charge for it. When we asked for the bill the staff offered us Turkish tea and bakala, again for free! So plenty of food, salad, tea and dessert for £30! They have in the menu a lot of different kind of kebabs, also a vegetarian version, which it is very convenient now days. The restaurant have a lot of staff serving, so usually do not wait long time. 100% recommended. Sure we will report again!

we went on Saturday night for dinner, there were few tables there weren't many people.. the eating is no longer like it used to be.. the service is quite horrible, they give you food as if to make you go away, they don't respect the starters, they bring the main courses immediately, very careless, they are not professional, I will never return to this place again. They need more training as they not professional.

Can you please start making proper lentil soup? It’s watery and barely has any taste. Don’t be greedy and try to sell water like soup. It’s not cheap. Also the salad that comes with it also has strange taste it’s like they cut anything and put inside the salad, cheap produce too

Great food, great business and lovely staff

Invited to lunch by an old friend and Capital was suggested as a place that had quiet corners upstairs where we could chat without muzac or chatter . . . It was perfect for our purpose, helpful, polite and smiling staff, excellent food and drinks and the promised quiet corner. We ate, drank and chatted steadily for over two hours with attentive but not intrusive service and no pressure to go though well into the afternoon.

Old friend and I wanted a quiet corner for a very long lunch to catch up . . . We spent most of the lunchtime and afternoon enjoying good service, good food and each other's company. The mezes are greatly recommended as are the vegetarian options. Salads are good, not the cheap flavourless stuff many places use!

Their outdoor seating area is a bonus on a nice day. What truly stood out, though, was the food! I highly recommend trying the Haka – it's tender, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The Gulesh was another highlight, rich and hearty, with the spices balanced beautifully. And if you're a fan of chicken dishes, the Aikan is a must-try – succulent and bursting with flavor. From the excellent service to the fresh ingredients and authentic taste, Capital Restaurant has easily become one of my go-to spots in London for Turkish cuisine!

My first time to eat in here and I'm so impressed with everything, not to mention the best quality of food and very polite services given by the crews. The place is so clean and descent that good to bring guest and friends in there. Also, the food budget is so reasonable as you have free starters and free desert after ordering the main dish. Highly recommended.

Even though we came in near closing time, all the staff offered an excellent service by genuinely caring for our experience and happy to find the best food to our taste. It was refreshing to be greeted and attended by such caring people! The mixed shish was seasoned amazingly and was heaven with the fresh yogurt. Leaving the restaurant with the complimentary cake and tea was the perfect way to end the night. Total bill was £70 for three people.

I went here on 18th for the first time, and whilst the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant cannot be faulted, the service from the handful of waiters and waitresses was lacking whenever my friend and I were about to request drinks. I cannot understand why when the restaurant was moderately busy.

The meat doner although it was ok wasn’t as good as expected. There are better ones you can easily find in London. But if you're around and hungry, it's alright.
