I will never change my opinion about capital. The food is more than delicious , the service is very good. The waiting staff is friendly

Loved this place, the staff couldn't do anymore to help even brought me a pudding on the house as I was paid and going. Really enjoyed it.

The food is really good the staff Yavuz was a really hospitable man we really liked his suggestions. The quality and qualtity worth paying.

Such a disgrace. Your order was delivered within 10 minutes, but we waited for 1 hour and it still did not arrive. I was embarrassed by my guests and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The food is really delicious. I have ordered chicken shish and it was very tasty. The one I didn’t like was the atmosphere. It was really so noisy. Is it because of architecture or something else but with people voices, music, workers are talking with each other so noisy.

Had a good experience here yday. Catching up with friends and had lunch. Had the House Special sharing platter - the meat and salad were so good. The rice pudding (on the house) was too sweet for our liking. Good customer service. Staff were friendly.

The worst service ever, don’t go upstairs otherwise you’ll be forgotten , it took them 2 hours to service me starter and missing main i haven’t not eat it because was the wrong order

Couscous was very wet and mushy, I’ve never left couscous on my plate before, I was told the reason is because it was just made. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me

All Turkish restaurants are cheating with the food, chicken wings are half of half the size of a normal chicken wing size!!.. Overpriced and cheating on the portion sizes. They are only making a huge amount of profit ONLY! They shouldn't treat and cheat on customers! Highly not recommended, and beware if anyone goes to any Turkish restaurants in woodgreen.

Went in here first time , was looked after by a very pleasant young man named Yavuz. Few meze , tea and dessert were complimentary and the food service n quality was vgood.

We've had several family parties here. Always delicious food and great service.

The serpme breakfast at Capital restaurant was delicious and diverse. It was prepared using fresh and high-quality ingredients. The variety of cheese, olives, jams, and warm simit breads were particularly delightful. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was prompt. It's definitely a place I would consider visiting again.

We ordered the house special which was 49.99 I think. But they give you all these lovely meze starters. Staff were lovely and nice. I came here 8 years ago but couldn't remember the name but finally found it and still not disappointed.

Excellent food. Portions have gone smaller since we've been going here but still better than many other places. Tea is also really good but wouldn't suggest having desserts here.

I've been going to this restaurant for at least 7 years and it's always a great experience. Personally I go here because of the grill options. Love the chicken shish, lamb ribs and even my 8 yo girl loves the lamb shish. The food is always great and good service. It's a shame I didn't took pics but I will next time I go and add them here so you can see the dishes I choose.

This place is always busy and just in woodgreen you can't go wrong as you have everything else here to have a fantastic evening. So come on down this restaurant is fantastic to dine in and enjoy the atmosphere too.

The Capital Restaurant is my favourite in Wood Green. Nice, friendly team from morning 10:00- to Close. Fantastic fresh food wait me always.

To be honest, most of the Turkish restaurants on Woodgreen High Road are pretty much the same in price, atmosphere, service, and quality, that is to say it is fairly high in them all, good food attentive staff, can get quite busy which obviously slows down service at times but still rather quick

We were 10 people and at the end when they was supposed to bring the complimentary baklava and tea they didn't so I asked for it and they brang 4 tea's only. I asked again for the baklava and they added it to the bill 🙄

Lovely restaurant, been coming for years. The portions are generous and the staff are very patient. The menu offers many typical Turkish dishes, prices have risen, but still affordable for what you are getting, which is alot of food.

This place was so busy and had a happy busy atmosphere. The food was amazing, the portions were huge! The staff were absolutely lovely. The only downside with the venue (I was on the top floor ) was that it was absolutely freezing, at least where we were seated. But aside from that, it's a great place easy to get to location which always helps! Would definitely go back (in the summer) 😂

Service was below par & they have changed management again as food portions aren't the same bread recipe has changed now tough bread nit fresh as it used to be just not hhe same & prices have increased so should the quality of food & service 💯💯😳🙄😩

It was easy to get to as the 123 bus stops outside at the wood green branch, the starters arrived very quickly shortly after the mains. We enjoyed the dressed salad we ordered the house special £46 sharing platter I felt that the platter portions was abit small but we made the most of it and added virgin cocktails for the kids very well made. We had fun, must be highlighted the toilets needed work its freezing upstairs don't get me wrong they were clean but it's cold. It was good evening we had super efficient servers.

I went to a work Xmas party dinner there. The food was amazing, platters are huge and food was delicious. Service was also very good. You can eat well as all portions are enough for 2 or more. Prices are good. Worth a visit.

We come regularly to this restaurant but after our last visit, never again. I am not sure if the restaurant is used to a lot of complaints but I couldn’t believe the bad attitude the staff have. We received a cold starter and we kindly said this is cold, the staff member replied ‘what do you want me to do’ very aggressively. We went silent in shock of the response and she then asked ‘should I warm it up’. We said ‘no’ as we hate to cause a scene but she took it anyway to warm up without us agreeing. She came back and sarcastically said ‘try it now while I’m here so you can make sure it’s hot enough for you’. I couldn’t believe we were served cold food and they were annoyed with us, even though we didn’t make a big fuss!!! The rest of the food was average.. not what we are use to with this restaurant. I didn’t want to pay the service charge but I refused to the experience ruin my mood so left it. As I paid the bill with service charge we kindly said to the manager the starter was cold he smiled and said ‘sorry to hear that’ and continued with the payment and could not care less. Lost a customer but I don’t think they’re that bothered to be honest.

I often go here for kebabs take out as it gets really busy . I always been happy with food and really recommend this place its been here in wood green for years and years . I always stick to places im happy with and always tell them if you want your meat well done they don't read minds . Service is quick well depends if you go in their quite time that is if you find a quite time as a good resturant you can tell is when its always busy you know food can't go wrong . I find take away my food much quicker then sitting in as its too busy but bless the waitress they do work hard and are polite. Fab kebabs do go and enjoy it with your friends and family . My favourite is shish kebab and lamb but I always ask for well done as there are lot 60 or more bacteria can be find in meat so always best to be safe meat ask for well done kebabs 🍢 😀 OK now go and enjoy your kebabs , salads are fresh too especially tomatoes cucumbers and varies other yummy food . 😘❤

Came to capital for a birthday dinner, informed a member of staff that we were there for a booking, she asked how many people the booking was for? ( How would we know when we were only guests) anyway, got taken upstairs to the table, had to ask for the menu and when we were ready to order drinks, no one seemed to have paid attention so took a while to get attention of the waiters/ waitresses. Food came, it was delicious but the service could be improved. Had an enjoyable time but would try elsewhere when in the area next time.

Been he quite a few times, and can highly recommend the House Meza share platter for 2-3 people, thus can be stretched to 4 people, also had a mcie bottle of wine for us to share. So we was a table for lunch 4 of us, food fabulous, meat tender comes with rice and cous cous, grilled peppers and chill, along with salad in a bowl, dips bread, like I said enough for 4 people for a lunch time. Staff were lively and meet our needs, not much of an Atmosphere at lunch time hence 3 stars, we sat outside as it was a lovely day, would I recommend this restaurant, yes go again yes.q

The best la lambchops in the Woodgreen area and the best I taste it in London! Well done, chefs ! Plenty to choose from, sea food, lamb, chicken beef, house special etc...

My family tries to make the effort to visit this restaurant even though it takes us a little over an hour to travel but completely worth it. Minutes walk from the station and great spot by the shops. Tried chicken pasta with permesan cheese and it was absolutely delicious also, had other dishes which was very nice. Service was good at! Overall 9.5/10

Probably one of the best (if not), in the area and around London, dare i say. Very decent price (given that everyone has raised theirs heavily), and the only goto, since being a customer of Hala for 8-9 years before. The service is pretty consistent, food is always consistent with solid portion sizes (better than most other places). Most notably is the meat (kofte), which is not overcooked or dry, however, all other meats are equally juicy and tasty! Not overly salty too like you will find in most Turkish restaurants. The bulgur is well seasoned also, and provide and overly mountainous mound for all of the meat you’ll be in a food comatose from. Note to the restaurant. Id recommend you heat the bread up that you serve, as this is usually not the case and just simply slapped on the table. Other than that, this is the spot to go to. Don’t hesitate. (Be sure to park in the cinema opposite and exit via lift in the mall. This is cheaper than the street parking (not free till after 10pm).

Upstairs staff members were very rude and their service was very poor.

Used to visit this place for breakfast and introduced to my friends and colleagues too but the quality of the food and service has dramatically declined over the past few months. You pay more but get less items on the menu. Very sad!

Went to this place on Sunday as a group of 28 people or more, the food was good along with the service and atmosphere. Unfortunately I think they could of given us more dining room space.We were situated on the top floor but cramped up in the corner of the room inwhich we were the only party up there no space on our table to place most of the food and drinks ordered.

First visit here and very disappointing. Ordered lamb doner which was very greasy and didn’t taste nice.couldn’t eat it so asked for the bill. Waiter didn’t even bother to ask if there was a problem. Won’t go there again

Good tasty food but a bit pricey.

Food was nice, however service was quite slow with not many staff around when you need them. The doner was very over cooked and dry, however they handled it well by offering a replacement or taking it back. Thank you for handling it so well.

We went there for a bridal shower and everything was amazing.. I had the lamb ribs and OMG it was delicious, well cooked and seasoned.! Staff was on point and the place was clean. Will be going again soon.

Our family have been using Capitol for many years but I'm afraid its over for us. The waiters are terrible, miserable and don't try to hide it. They clearly hate the job. Food is mediocre and portions get smaller year on year. Currently they are following no covid safety rules by having tables larger then 6 people and no distancing between tables. They also add a service charge to the bill even if its a small table which annoys me especially with the current bad service. Many great places in the area so I'll be moving.

Best Turkish restaurant I have visited in London by far. Amazing food at great prices compared to other similar establishments. Plenty of seating across three floors. Recommend their platters for a big group. The red chili sauce is sharp and punchy, so good we had to ask for three refills! Complementary Turkish tea and baklava at the end of the meal.

One of the best kebabs in London. Food is top and price is solid. Seem to always have a table available.

Would not recommend. Was charged more than price listed on menu. Found hair in King Prawns which also were not deveined. Service was slow and they kept bringing food we didn’t order. Only nice thing was the drinks.

food quality is very bad. I was poisoned by the chicken soup. When I was having the chicken soup I also told the manager taste is not good still they didn't do anything. I was in the hospital for 2 days. zero customer service. they didn't care at all. İt's very disappointed me. Hygiene is 0. Probably chicken soup stayed there for a month. If you will listen to my advice do not go to the restaurant. Humans life or health means nothing to them . They only think about money!!!!
