The best restaurants serving Thai food in England

Third visit to Eliza’s and again the food was stunning . The sharing platter starter , spring rolls and fried balls of rice with a lime and chilli dip was just sublime, really very tasty. The Kho Mak Chicken and the Hot and Spicy Red Beef were delicious as was the lime and tamarind noodles . Generous portions and fresh tasting . The kind of food that makes you want to eat more despite knowing you’ve had enough . Staff very polite and friendly too. Definitely will be returning.

Lemongrass is my new favourite place to go for good freshly made Thai food. We visited the place on Thursday night and place was quite busy. We had a lovely starters , prawn toast and veg spring rolls followed by Sweet and sour chicken and Thai Green curry with chicken with egg rice which I had 3 times this week:) It’s great place to eat or simply just call on the way back from work and food will be waiting for your:) We will definitely come back to dine in:)

6 of us visited this afternoon for lunch and we can not begin to tell you how good everything was, it was just amazing. I had the extra large king prawns in curry sauce, which were mind blowingly good, and we also had the tiger crying steak which was cooked to absolute perfection, along with a few other dishes. The best Thai food by far, along with amazing service.

We've been here a few times and although it's very basic inside the food has always been good. However, my wife and I went for something to eat last weekend and were ill for 4 days! The food was tasty if a little greasy but, the service was good and the restaurant was busy. My wife woke in the night vomiting and the had Diarrhea had Diarrhea for 4 days and couldn't keep anything down. I did call the restaurant the day after to let them know and was told the manager would ring me back but never did! We will never visit again, which is a shame as we live locally. Awful.

The food was outstandingly delicious with an extensive, varied menu to choose from. All very reasonably priced. Definitely the best Thai food we've had in a long time and we shall return soon.

Lovely service and super friendly staff Food ok but not the best I’ve had. Too sweet and greasy for me. Fish in tanks bothered me.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Had a lunchbox yesterday & was really nice. Today had jungle curry & chips ~ I could eat this everyday. Lots of meat. Staff are so friendly & polite. I’ll miss this shop when I go back home to Nottingham

We were staying a few miles away and ordered a takeaway as they were full in the restaurant. Wow, really good / Authentic Thai food and all cooked to order.

Food is delightful, fresh and served quickly. Portions are on point too. An absolute hidden gem well worth popping in and worth the wait to get a seat.

We had green curry and pad Thai. The food was excellent, well presented and delicious and the service was friendly and helpful.

I visited with my family for a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, the service was not up to the standard we usually receive here. We were the only table in the restaurant, yet our waitress (a blonde lady) seemed more interested in her phone than attending to us. When our mains arrived, our glasses were empty, but she didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks, missing an opportunity to sell a bottle of wine. Additionally, she didn’t check back a few minutes later to ensure everything was okay with our food, which is a pretty standard part of good service. The food itself was as nice as usual, but three of the meals were served on cold glass plates, causing the food to also go cold quickly. This was a small but noticeable detail. On our way out, my mum politely shared her disappointment about the service, hoping it could be taken as constructive feedback. Unfortunately, rather than apologizing or addressing the feedback professionally, the waitress made a disrespectful face at her colleague behind the bar (who normally does serve) as soon as my mum turned away. This lack of professionalism aggravated me and prompted me to write this review. This has always been a local place we’ve enjoyed, but tonight’s service was far from what we’ve experienced before. If more attention was paid to customer service, the restaurant might not be so empty on a Thursday night.

My family can't get enough of this restaurant! We've been back three times, and each visit has been a delight. The restaurant consistently earns high scores, usually between 4 and 5. We gave it a perfect five because they allowed us to sit down before our allocated booking, and there was no service charge. The only problem was that the coconut rice was drier than usual, and we had to ask the waitresses to clean our table. Apart from these minor issues, the menu is incredibly diverse (and fair prices), the restaurant has a cosy and traditional theme, and the service from the waitress was delightful!

Food and main meals are good but note now all starters are fried. Wish they had steamed or grilled options as well Service charge is automatically added like many other places in this area. Very friendly staff and landlady and great music option on weekends
