We are regulars when we're in Broadstairs. As others have said, the owner who looks after guests is charming and super-smiley. The food is always terrific - freshly made and beautifully spiced. Highly recommended.

The food was ok. The fish floating upside down in the tank next to us were a real put off though. They need to update the decor and get rid of the fish tanks which just look grim. The service was good.

Wonderful restaurant with unbelievably charming atmosphere. Expertly cooked food. I ordered the prawn tom yum soup and it tasted incredible. As well as this, the chicken wings were so great that I regretted not ordering more. My companions were equally happy. Amazing service and great value for money. Cannot recommend enough, I would give this 6 stars if I could.

Everything about our vist was spot on. For starters the service was absolutely amazing, the lady who runs the reasturant is so smiley and so polite, she was genuinely a joy to have as a server. The reasturant also does just have a really authentic feel too it. Then the food. The food is AMAZING, all food is homemade and you can really tell everything is so fresh. And the value for the quality of food and the portions is really amazing. We also did vist on valentines day and weren’t aware a free heart shaped tiramsu was complimentary which was a lovely touch! I would really recommend to anyone and we will be coming back!

This has to be the best Thai food In Kent, maybe even the South East in my opinion. You can easily walk past it as it’s a small dine in restaurant, which also does take away. The front of house / chef / is an absolute gem. We have frequented this restaurant on many occasions and so pleased we found it. You are met with warmth as soon as you walk in and the menu doesn’t disappoint. Authentic Thai food, and we always over indulge, the food is so good you just can’t help it. This definitely is without question the place to visit when in Broadstairs. Look forward to visiting next month : 0 )

Siam Kitchen - in Broadstairs offers superb authentic Asian /Thai food. This very friendly small family restaurant offers delicious food obviously made and served with love for quality and and with an eye on offering value for money. I can't recommend a more authentic taste sensation other than a long haul flight to Bangkok.

We ordered from the main menu. I had a prawn salad to start then Panang tofu curry, The prawn salad had sufficient fish sauce in the very tasty dressing, good range of vegetables and a generous number of prawns - very good. The Panang curry had a good range of vegetables in addition to the tofu, and again a great flavour. While both dishes would contain more chilli in Thailand, they were spiced just right for me (I think both were "single chilli" on the menu. The service was also very good, with a very pleasant lady ( who might also have been the chef?) taking care of us.

We had been shopping at Westwood Cross and had taken a walk along Broadstairs afterwards and decided to go somewhere for an evening meal. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was amazing, we have eaten at a few Thai restaurants both family run and large commercial chains and this without a doubt has been the best by far. Real authentic Thai food. It’s only a shame we couldn’t try the authentic Thai beers and cocktails as one of us was driving. But there is always next time. We will definitely be returning and next time with bring the family. If you are in Broadstairs and fancy a Thai meal this is definitely the place or even if your not in Broadstairs I would recommend travelling here just for the food experience.

First visit here after moving to E Kent from busy N Kent. Lots of restaurants in Broadstairs but not many Thai. I had a Pad Thai. A bowl of prawn crackers and chilli sauce were brought to me first. Then the Pad Thai. Very hot, fresh and delicious. The Jasmine Tea was excellent. Tea bag Jasmine Tea which I tend to avoid but this tea was as good as loose leaf. The bill came with a chocolate, mint and humbug. I dined alone as I usually do and felt very happy here as clearly it is a family run business with the wife waitressing tonight and the father cooking. Both very pleasant people and I felt very at home. Such a treat to eat out in a family restaurant and the fish tank is delightful (with another on the way out to the toilets). Hand soap and paper towels in the toilet so all good there too. One can go and have a cardboard box of fish and chips or a double gin or, for the same money !!!! sit in a cosy restaurant and eat Pad Thai with tea......... No brainer really!!! I'll be back for sure. Thank you for looking after me tonight.

The food was excellent and very authentic, lovely fresh ingredients and just the right levels of spice where needed.A large menu makes it hard to chose but everything we had on the night was excellent. We had the mixed starters followed by chicken with Thai basil, chilli and garlic. This was really tasty and very spicy which i like. My wife had the wok stir-fried veg and tofu which she thought was delicious with strong flavours of garlic coming through. My wife opted for coconut rice on the side. I went for a portion of noodles with my main course. Good pace to the service and a nice gap between courses meant we were not rushed. We look forward to returning again and trying one of the Thai curries. Thank you.

We have been regular visitors to Broadstairs over the summer, and have eaten at Siam Kitchen on several occasions. As other reviewers say, it is necessary to book if you really want to eat there on evenings at the weekend. Siam Kitchen only has 6 tables (a max of 20 people seated). The owners/staff are delightful and we have always found the service very friendly and efficient, yet unhurried, so not the place to eat if you are in a rush. Our family has a mix of meat eaters/vegetarians and we all find a lot on the menu to choose from. My own favourite (although it sounds strange as a highlight) is the garlic brown rice. I've never found this anywhere else, and it's really tasty. There's a 10% discount for eating in if you pay in cash.

Came here as a quick stop before heading home after passing by earlier on in the day & noticing the good reviews. We stopped in around 6:30 & noticed that every table in the small quaint restaurant had been reserved! They asked could we leave by 8pm & we would be allowed a table if so! Luckily for us our parking ticket was due to run out so we were happy to oblige! We are so glad we came! The staff were lovely smiling, friendly & Thai people. The chef lady even popped out to hand out some food & gave a winning smile in our direction! The restaurant is typical Thai dashings of bright colours & wooden shrines & decorations including pictures of the king who is so highly loved by the Thai people, which gives a lovely feel to the restaurant & really transports you to Thailand! Lovely traditional thai music was playing in the background during our quick visit. We ordered dim sum, fish cakes & chicken pad kae maow all for us to share. Everything all came together as we didn’t have lots of time. The 5 dim sums were to die for, beautifully fresh dumpling doe, so extremely tasty, the meat just melted in our mouths & came with a lovely dipping sauce. I would highly recommend this dish! The 4 fish cakes were yummy & came with a sweet chilli & crunchy peanut sauce again tasty. The chicken pad kae maow was not somthing we had had before as it’s normally seen as a beef dish throughout Thailand & the hundreds of Thai restaurants I have been to! However it was tasty & quite spicey & fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I have visited Siam Kitchen many times over the years as we live locally. Recently took my parents and nephews as well because they were visiting the area, and they loved it. My parents love Thai food and were really impressed by how delicious and authentic their meals were. My dad enjoyed his beer, my mum and I shared some Thai wine which was very good, and my husband tried the Thai iced tea which was so good I had to have one for myself too. The staff are wonderful hosts, with nothing being too much effort. Their food is consistently great quality, tastes great and the atmosphere within the restaurant itself is always relaxed and welcoming. It is not a large restaurant which my family liked as it gave them a chance to talk to the couple near us who were visiting from The Netherlands and wanted to ask my dad's advice on what to order as they had never had Thai food before. They also seemed really impressed with their meals. Honestly cannot recommend enough.

We thought the Dim Sum superb along with the tempura prawns and vegetables. In fact everything we ordered was quite divine. I had read on a previous review you could take your own wine and beer (which we did) but this was wrong so we happily ordered from the list, all very reasonably priced so no problems at all. Decided to grab a takeout from Siam, food was really good and very well priced. 25 min wait and was ready on my return. Traditional Thai style cooking and food. Family run business worth a visit if you like Thai !

We were in Broadstairs for a week and came to this restaurant twice! Food was great, quite generous portions. I had hope to try the pudding but never had room!

This small, friendly, family-run Thai restaurant seats only 24 customers and boasts a 5 star food hygiene rating. It is popular and booking is advisable. We went on Saturday evening and chose vegetable spring rolls for starters, vegetarian red curry, chicken with cashew nuts and oyster sauce, with sticky rice and egg noodles. Prawn crackers and a dip were served as a complimentary starter. The ingredients were all very fresh and cooked to order (with maybe a slightly longer wait than would be usual). Courses were delicious, flavours were balanced, and the overall meal was delightful. My partner said it was the best Thai meal she had tasted. Most surprising is the very reasonable prices of the courses - with a reduction of 10% for payment in cash. This little gem of a restaurant offers winderful Thai cooking at a great price.

We had great food & the service was exemplary The reason I only gave a 3 out of 5 was because there were only 6 tables & down the steps was obviously a living area plus a children's area therefore limited for customers

The food here is simply fantastic. Really great. Full of flavour and real authentic Thai cuisine.Lovely setting with a small restaurant and I'd suggest booking a table at the weekends (even out of season) but it's well worth it. Will be back again for sure.

Really lovely tiny Thai restaurant. Food is always freshly prepared and delicious. I am vegetarian and they are happy to prepare food with no fish sauce in it.

I don't know why it took me so long to go to visit this one for the first time. A really unique and authentic taste with friendly hosts and an amazing view over the Ramsgate harbour. Definitely going back!

Lovely friendly service but not great selection of drinks. Nice outdoor seating area. Clientele seemed to be of the 50+ demographic which is fine but perhaps if you are a younger group then I would not say this would be the place to meet contemporaries.

Amazing service at this cute lil restaurant!! Tina managed to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday night and even ensured our food was prepared in time for us to rush off for a gig. They were very accommodating to dietary requirements and everything was delicious - I look forward to visiting again next time I’m in Margate!
