Me and my daughter called in for some lunch yesterday Fri 25th April. What can I say. Fabulous service and food was delicious and generous portions. I had black pudding bon bons to start and cheese and onion pie which came with chunky chips and a side pot of beans. My daughter had halloumi fries to start and a burger as her main. We were both very full after this . So didnt get chance to try the desserts . Food was hot and freshly made. Service was brilliant excellent staff . Will definitely be calling in again and would highly recommend.

Went here for the first time today. Had a gorgeous meal. The place is roomy with extremely friendly staff. They couldn't have tried harder to make us comfortable. The olives were delicious and the bread and butter as well. I had a mushroom risotto which was gigantic , served with loads of parmesan and lemon. A bargain at £15. My daughter has golden vegetable soup which was great. The fries were excellent too. Rounded things off with the most fantastic passion fruit cream desert and an amaretto coffee. I'll be back to try the steaks. Wish I'd gone long ago. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious and the staff is very friendly, however, too small portions for the price, long wait before receiving food (and the place was a third full), and not a huge fan of the kitchen next to the toilet in the basement.

Outstanding 👌🏽👏 we went for valentine's dinner to Capote and Toros and I have to say we had a lovely time. The service from the gentleman from Ecuador (Quito) was excellent, really friendly and kind, as so for the rest of the staff the lady working there and the other guy too. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and food was tasty. The price is what you would expect in this south kensington hotspot area. I only wish the portions were slightly bigger. Overall 10 out of 10, delicious!!

we had a lovely tasty lunch here. beware the halloumi flatbread is spicy-they redid it without the spice without my asking when i said it was spicy and doesn't say that on the menu, and were very pleasant about it, tho i noticed the second plate didnt have as much halloumi🤣, the other meals were fine and the halloumi was better without the spice as i could taste the mint yoghurt. it is a bit pricey but then everywhere is now. Im assured the cakes were delicious , my messy eater said the flapjack was the best hes had. Was very pleasant sat eating and overlooking the mere. i think what stood out was the really exceptionally friendly service, and the staff made us laugh giving my husband too many serviettes and telling him ot was cause he looked like a messy eater. we thought the staff were great and whatever theyre paid deserve more.

We had lunch here yesterday. Fabulous! We had crispy whitebait, squid, spicy sausages, padron peppers, spinach and goats cheese croquettes, skin on fries. 2 Aperol spritzer, and a jug of the white sangria. Could not fault anything Service was excellent and friendly Very reasonably priced for everything that we had. Recommend!

Let me get my only real gripe out of the way right upfront. During my stay I had the Mangalitsa Pork and Vegetable Pie. It was the most bland - tasteless plate of food that I have ever eaten. Horrible. So, overall The Pig On The Beach is superbly located overlooking The Old Harry Rocks at Studland. Stunning. It is hard to find a less than enthusiastic team member. My room was very clean and I enjoyed my stay. Plenty of after dinner cosy corners for a drink although some people thought that bar prices were a little high! A good hotel.

We had been looking to visit here for about 3 weeks prior to our trip to IOW this week. It looked so lovely down by the beach and largely had good reviews. We went for breakfast today, not many people as it was early. Didn’t feel very welcomed from the off. Then breakfast arrived. Very very undercooked eggs, to the point where the white part of the egg had made the toast soggy. It wasn’t edible without making you have an upset stomach. I wasn’t rude just took it back and said these eggs are to under cooked for me, no eye contact from the old man behind the counter, no oh sorry about that or let me sort this for you! Nothing just silence acted as though - I was mud on he’s shoe!! Utterly disgusting behaviour, from who I assumes was the manager/owner, as he was a lot older than the younger boys that were there. Never, have I been treated that way before. He never said a word. It was completely unnecessary, I wasn’t rude to him. I couldn’t have eaten the eggs, they were snotty and not what should be served. Really ruined our day. It had such potential, it’s lovely inside the coffee was good. The view is incredible, but the staff let it down. I really felt there was no need for he’s treatment at all. I wasn’t being out of line not to eat raw eggs!!!! I’ve noticed there’s another review on here about uncooked food. I think they may need to retrain their cook. Shame…..
