The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

The worst meal in a restaurant I have ever had, dirty plates, stone cold food, overpriced wine. Staff not washing their hands after going to the toilet.

Loved the vibe! We love Spain and we love tapas. The food here is deliciously tasty and we would highly recommend you try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Probamos el almuerzo del domingo. Esto es algo nuevo aquí (semana 3 creo). Ni siquiera está anunciada en su página web, pero la había visto en el grupo de Facebook de fulford y decidí reservar una mesa con un amigo. Reservamos con una semana y media de antelación y recibimos tres mensajes durante ese tiempo pidiéndonos que confirmáramos la reserva. Esto era OTT. Cuando llegamos allí (1 : 30 booking) el lugar era v tranquilo. En realidad no hay mucha atmósfera. La música que tocaba era demasiado fuerte. Otras tres mesas ocupadas, una con un niño en voz alta. La mayoría de las mesas tienen sillas de tipo taburete alto que me resulta difícil relajarse y parecía muy resbaladizo. El servicio fue amable y servicial. Buena elección de vino (muchos por copa) y buenos consejos útiles. Nos sorprendió la falta de elección en el menú y confundimos que todos los principales están compartiendo platos. Dicho esto, disfrutamos de nuestra comida, especialmente la principal. El vino era genial también. Probé un tinto georgiano que iba bien con la carne. Hicimos 2 platos y una copa de vino y un café cada uno y pagamos £ 36. 55 cada uno. ¿Qué lo haría mejor? Mesas y sillas de altura regular, algunas opciones más y sirviendo la principal en placas calientes (ya que se enfría demasiado rápido en la madera). Es agradable poder apoyar a un negocio local y caminar a casa después de un vino. Puedo probar su noche de pizzas alguna vez también.

Lovely place, stumbled upon when needed a break,snack & coffee. Lovely toastie and scone(warm with clotted cream & jam) Great coffee and extremely polite and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Un lugar realmente fantástico - excelente decoración y música. Me encanta la decoración y todo el ambiente del lugar. Comimos patatas bravas, mejillones, pimientos, paella, albóndigas y hongos. Cada plato era absolutamente delicioso. Recomiendo viva Cuba.

The worst dinning experience in the UK! We ordered a seafood paellas and a lunch tapas set. However, since the manu specified paellas requires 40 mins wait, we kept waiting with 1 lunch set tapas served. After 45 mins wait, the waiter cleared our table and we asked what’s going on. He insisted we only ordered 1 person lunch set manu. How come the small tapas can feed two persons? The waiter did not repeat our order at the beginning and did not check on us even once during our meal with just one small tapas. He did not even gave us an appology for missing our order. It leaded us to a real rush to the airport without a proper lunch. It’s the worst restaurant in my whole trip! Definitely not recommending!

Aces across the board for Copita! From the moment we walked in, until we left - we felt the love from the chefs, bartenders and staff at Copita. We wanted to enjoy great food, some wine and have the ability to talk with the rest of our party - and boy did it hit home. Many great dishes to share, great starter cocktails as well as great wine to choose from - to make the whole night come together. We had many different dishes but two of our highlights were the Ox cheek and goat cheese truffle! We finished off with the Basque Cheesecake - W0W is all we have to say. The team at Copita deserves all the praise they have collected over the years and hopefully we return again in the future! Topa!!

Absolutely gem of a place! Great GF and dairy free options! Very reasonable and great atmosphere!

Tried this place based on its high local rating on Google, but honestly found it underwhelming. The full chicken was completely bland—lacked any seasoning or flavor. I’ve had more flavorful roast chicken from M&S. The Gambas were listed as “served with bread” on the menu, but no bread ever came. Padrón peppers were tiny, overly greasy, and over half were burnt. The champiñones were also way too oily, with the oil completely overpowering any taste. On top of that, staff came over three separate times to ask if we were done and ready for them to clear the plates—felt rushed and unwelcome. Not somewhere I’d return to.

If you love Spanish food,this is this place for you. Super tasty tapas served by friendly staff. Extensive menu and drinks list. Nothing not to like. It's popular so best to book. It is definitely equal to any restaurant in Spain we have been to.

this place is always reliablefor lunch with plenty of tasty tappas to choose from. The restaurant is always clean and the staff and atmosphere always plesant and helpful. The estrella on draught is very good value

Emily Chinn’s review is 100% correct. We called you on the way to the restaurant after realising my mistake. Los Reyes in Caerleon were very understanding and even commented at the time to state this was not the first time this had happened. I have uploaded a copy of my redacted bank statement. Please do not make us out to be liars. I left a review at the time which was deleted. This has come up again as Emily has only just found out what happened with the deposit
