We had a meal for 12 people here a few Saturdays ago, and it could not have been better. Attentive staff, generous portions, great atmosphere. We felt totally looked after, Marta and her staff went above and beyond, especially for the vegan & vegetarians at the table. Cuttlefish ink risotto is recommended, as well as the pork scratchings. Thank you so much to the team at Copita.

Made to feel like they were doing us a favour by giving us a table in a virtually empty restaurant, which is always a bad start. Food OK but expensive, even by London standards

Very tasty food and ambience, it’s pretty busy but the service was timely overall. My only bug bear is when the lady waiting our table comes with the bill, with service added and then asks for an additional tip, then stares at the card machine while we are pretty much guilt tripped to add more tips… quite awkward and not very polite if you ask me. And quite uncommon practice in london! However, food was excellent so I will go back!!

Absolutely fantastic. Food was incredible - we had the squid ink rice, mushroom croquettes, beef onglet, smoked aubergine and courgette cannelloni special - all delicious. Service was great- Grima was attentive and informative and we will be back!

We had a wonderful pre-theatre dinner here at Copita. Marta, the host was very friendly and also was giving great service. We ordered six dishes with two people and wine and we had all the fish dishes which were absolutely great. Also, the interior of the restaurant is very nice. I think this is a hidden gem just off Tottenham Court Road. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Had a amazing meal here, was a group of 10 and we were looked after exceptionally well. One of us was vegan an the hostess was beyond accommodating and provided plentiful options off menu for them. Great little spot, nice interior, friendly staff. Honestly couldn’t fault anything about it

A wonderful gem of a tapas bar in a great central location in London. Our server, Grima, was absolutely fantastic, friendly, and energetic! Our host, Marta, was more than welcoming and accommodating of my dairy intolerance as well. A wonderful place to spend an evening drinking Rioja and eating top notch tapas.

Amazing food. The ceviche, the prawns and the chicken were outstanding. Service was amazing. Grima provided us with a great service. Her recommendations were right on spot, and always smiling. Will definitely come back.

The restaurant is very warm, we were made very welcome. The owner and the waiter David take great care of their customers. The charcuterie and cheese boards are great! I recommend!

In all honesty, food was not memorable. however we really enjoyed evening thanks to the excellent service by Grima. She was really welcoming and nice with us from the first instance. Then she remained checking on us and being super attentive. The wine selection was really good 👍

Grima is simply extraordinary. Their attention is impeccable, with a warm smile and an always positive attitude that makes each client feel special. The experience altogether was terrific! If you really want to taste real Spanish food in London, this is a must. Octopus left me speechless, as well as the cheese cake; ceviche was amazing! We tried all the recommendations given by a Spanish Waitress from Gran Canaria(really friendly and professional) and she couldn't be more spot on. The wine list was properly selected. The environment and the welcome was extraordinary. I highly recommend this resto!!

Their Spanish food is really good and genuine, while having some touches of originality. They have good beer and the cold meat table is a must try. Sweet potato bravas are amazing too. Staff was really friendly and kind. Place can get quite busy, without it being overwhelming.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional Spanish restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The food was good and The service was equally remarkable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu ( well done Grimanesa from Gran Canaria) We will come back.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere

I have been there recently and we loved it. The food recommended by Marta and Grima was delicious. They served us wonderfully, they were very kind and professional. Aubergine was amazing. The cream cheese cannelloni was delicious.

A lovely meal at this friendly place. I especially liked the Sherry selection, Basque cheesecake and torrijas.

Food was good but service was fast food restaurant standard. I have been here a few times and used to like it, hence coming back with my friends, but definitely not going back again. Booked a table for six people on a Thursday night, well aware in advance the booking is only for two hours, absolutely no problem. A couple of friends arrived late due to traffic but we didn’t wait, we ordered food and drinks first. Waitress felt it was necessary to remind us the booking was only for two hours every 20 mins with the manager on the night kept checking when the other two guests in the group arrive with an attitude. The bill landed on the table 1.5 hrs into the booking, 30 mins short of the booking, without us asking and by the said manager with a poker face. Such a shorted sighted approach for the business. Yes it was lucky enough to be busy on that night (not the same when I visited previously) and they felt that they could kiss off their guests with such poor service. That’s how restaurants loose their returning customers. Such a shame, the previous serving team was much more professional. If you are not looking for a fast food restaurant at this price point and want to enjoy your meal, definitely not recommended.

Great service, lovely sherry, very good tapas and THAT Basque Miso Cheesecake. Man alive. Just delicious. Haven’t enjoyed a dessert that much in years.

Their octopus is absolutely incredible. It's cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavor is amazing, and the presentation is beautiful. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious dishes and drinks!

We had a lovely evening at Copita last Friday. The vibrant atmosphere and wide range of tapas dishes was partnered with amazing service. Marta made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door and her own recipe margarita cocktail was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be returning soon to try more dishes on offer.

Fabulous food. Great helpful staff and attention to detail. Was a little bit too expensive and didn’t offer bundle deals for a big group but overall a delight.

The food is delicious, traditional tapas with a touch of innovation… the place is cozy, and there is an option to dine outside in the summer, which is always nice :) our waiter Christian looked after us and he was just marvellous… highly recommended!

One of those really safe places you can take your friends and know that the food is banging and that their will be a great buzz. Both the Soho and Fitzrovia restaurants are great but prefer the Fitzrovia (table layout is nicer). Serving staff are lovely, seem to keep gettin Christian, who is an absolute dude (and defo didn’t ask me to name drop him 😉 he is a geezer though)

The food (and the drinks) were absolutely outstanding. What I didn't like was being invited to add a tip ON TOP OF the service charge which had already been added to the bill. The slick manor in which was this was done suggests that they do this a lot.

Great authentic spanish food in bloomsbury. I have been coming here since I go to Uni. The food here is extremely delicious and reminds me of the time I visited Barcelona. The meat platter is absolutely huge and completely worth the price imo. The steak is also usually one of our go to dish. Definitely come visit if you are looking for a cozy casual tapas place that is delicious.

Our visit to Copita Fitzrovia was nothing short of exceptional. The waiter truly made the experience unforgettable, treating us as if we were guests in his own home. His warm hospitality set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was outstanding—each dish a delight, from the sweet patata bravas to the perfectly cooked sea bass. We particularly enjoyed the jamon and mushroom croquettas, and the artichoke and aubergine dishes were equally impressive. Paired with a refreshing sangria, the meal was a true culinary experience. Overall, it was an excellent evening, and we can't wait to return.

Very nice Spanish tapas place. If you want good quality food, good Spanish ambience coupled with slightly confused Spanish waiters - this is your place: you feel just like in Spanish. Kind and helpful staff, good food, especially in summer when you can sit outside. I am coming back and would recommend people to go if you want Spanish tapas.
