Jamón Jamón (Camden) in Camden

My interest in visiting this place was because I saw that Amy Winehouse loved to eat there. That's why I went there and I eat Spanish food (I had already tried Spanish food when I was in Barcelona and Madrid). So this place is very nice, the atmosphere, the food, the service and the music and it’s close to the bus station, metro, pubs, etc. I love it.

Slightly overpriced for some.of the smaller dishes. They also have a mouse problem as we saw one running through the restaurant during our lunch!! No discount or refund offered.

Acepté la ubicación. , pero sin embargo todavía era demasiado caro, especialmente para la tarde a mitad de semana. Decidimos darnos un capricho también con una paella de marisco para dos personas, fue la peor paella que he probado en mi vida. Definitivamente estaba precongelado y estaba muy soso, ¡e incluso demasiado cocido! Tampoco era una porción particularmente grande considerando que era para dos. No recomendaría esto y no volvería a volver Los dos puntos que le he dado es básicamente por el buen servicio , y que el lugar era agradable luminoso y colorido.

We (2 people) reserved for an off-peak time, around 6pm. It was quiet, the mood was very warm, very cosy. Christmas lights and wooden decor gave it such a rustic feel. Great to dine comfortably in. The food. We ordered a 2person chicken and chorizo paella and 3 tapas. The tapas were a good light food that were appropriately mild in taste, but still a distinct, flavourful kick - quite impressive. And the paella was magnificant. Altogether, we were already full by the paella. We wouldve loved to have dessert, but our stomachs couldnt handle it :( we decided the food was an 8.5/10, averaged between us. Service wise, absolutely brilliant. Luca was so friendly, making sure we were ok from time to time, asking us whether we wanted drinks or refill of drinks. Being patient with taking our orders, all with a smile on his face and genuine positive attitude :)) Overall great place, great food, great time.

Best paella we've had in a long time

The two Girls from Naples who served us, Ariana and the other lovely girl , who must forgive me but I don’t remember her name , we’re absolutely amazing. The food was very quick and tasted very good . Very good place for an evening with friends !

I normally have a very pleasant and friendly experience here which is why I've given it 5 stars, today I was looking forward to another soft Spanish Omelette here however this time it was thoroughly well done which left me disappointed but through no fault of the staff, they were very courteous, I should have stated it be runny/soft but will be back again.

I had an order in deliveroo about. 150£ the food was could we waited about 2 hours don’t order from this restaurant they not willing to send me the money back in for waiting that long I’m not happy with the food you need to improve with the food and + timing

I ordered 17.50 and was told on app 15-35 min and got my meal 19.19pm. Only reason I bought from you as you were quicker than uber eat. My meal was 30 minutes over 18.50pm time you told me. It took 1hr and 30 minutes to get my food from time of ordering to deliver time. I will no longer be buying from you this isnt on and better off uber eat.

Ideal for eating after a walk through Camden Market. Pretty good Spanish food and close to the market and the metro stop. Quite correct price.

Encontré al azar este pequeño restaurante pintoresco en Camden aquí. Se sentía como tapas españolas, que definitivamente dieron en el lugar. Nos recibió un camarero muy amable, que nos sentó en nuestros asientos rápidamente. Ambos pedimos bebidas, que eran muy sabrosas. Rápidamente pedimos los favoritos del servicio en el que nos dio comentarios que fue útil. Pedimos las aceitunas/pimientos/pulpo/pollo y setas/gambas reales. Todo estaba delicioso y muy ligero. Me gustaría 100% volver a este restaurante de nuevo. Todo era increíble y sabroso con mucho sabor.

Had dinner here, nice place, great atmosphere, friendly waiters, the paella was incredibly tasty and all the tapas we ordered were good except for the pan con tomato (it had very small pieces of bread and almost no tomato on top). The sangria here is very strong and no taste of wine at all.

Great spot for happy hour on sangrias! Patatas bravas are also really good and they have a large choice regarding tapas! One of the waitress have also been really helpful regarding some questions about the neighborhood! The inside of the restaurant is like a garden. And the waiters here are really kind. Highly recommended!!

Nice service with delicious food

It's surprising that despite visiting Camden numerous times, I had never dined at this restaurant before. After catching a glimpse of it in an Amy Winehouse documentary, I was intrigued to try it out, knowing it was one of her favorite spots while she was still with us. And let me tell you, this establishment lived up to the hype. I indulged in the seafood paella and rounded off my meal with churros y chocolate. The staff was exceptional, and my waiter from Kazakhstan was not only sweet but incredibly friendly. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Visited here with some colleagues after work one evening and enjoyed it. Staff were really nice and friendly, service was pretty speedy, some of the food like calamari didn’t taste the best quality but was good value for money. (Happy hour sangria always goes down well too).

Food was pre made and chewy. Drinks weren’t great but Luca was serving the entire restaurant alone, making drinks and running food for all of those tables! He was a legend but the food was a total let down.

We went to this restaurant to have some lunch. Small portions and tasteless food. I wasn't expecting to find the same as I would find in Spain but for the price you pay the quality should be much better... Especially the calamares.. there wasn't even salt on them and they are served in a paper bag on a small plate to hide how small the portion was. The cheese board was good but it's served with a tiny piece of membrillo which you could eat with only one piece of cheese. The bread wasn't nice either, we ordered some ali oli with it and it was served in the smallest pot I've ever seen... I think this restaurant has loads of options which is good but I think they could make it so much better

We had an amazing experience at Jamon Jamon in Camden. Staff were very helpful and polite. As spanish person I was really impressed with the quality of food and the portions were very good. I recommend the Calamares, pescado frito, croquetas de jamon y de queso manchego y huevos rotos. Everything was so tasty. I highly recommend this place

Ordered the following via Delivery: - Paella Chorizo (£17.95) - Croquetas de Jamon (£7.75) Review: - Disappointing Paella, it was lacking in flavour and did not taste authentic. The only decent thing would be the portion size you get - Croquettes were also lacking in flavour, could barely taste any ham inside of it. Pricing: Quite expensive for the quality you are getting. If the quality was better then it would be a reasonable price

What a major error! Food just looks Spanish but the taste... nah! It's not Spanish at all. Place looks and feels nice. Me and my friend came there starved to enjoy even more some Spanish food. We were looking for something of quality in the area of Camden and 4.1 stars convinced me to enter. We ordered few starters among them a plate of Iberico Ham - not tasty at all (I think it was the lowest shelf possible) and I know how it should taste. Garlic bread ordered with it was an old stale cheapest piece of Tesco roll... my fried just had a bite of it and dropped it. Her other starter was deep fried chicken served with mayo on side which she said was burnt. She told me only after she finished it so we couldn't send it back. I ordered Cava which is suppose to be sparkling Spanish wine. It tasted plastic like Lambrini I was served once at some house party. Terrible. Never had Cava before so I don't know how it was suppose to taste but I'm pretty sure it wasn't that. Next I ordered some Sangria... even worse... it was just coloured ice water with no bite at all. I just had a sip and I left it. Main dish finally came - Paella Marinara was on order - but it was chorizo paella... I pointed it immediately and 30s later there was correct paella. I'm pretty sure no one ordered that chorizo paella which made me thinking... It was just "refreshed" in an oven. And I was right. You could tell it wasn't readily fried Paella ... cheap tricks. The dish for two had 4 mussels and 4 average sized shrimps - very very modest. It should have been brimming with seafoods... The whole "mediterranean" taste was coming from plenty of tiny frozen, cheapest, lowest shelf, Tesco shrimps and crab sticks. All was greasy that you could take probably half a cup of oil out of it. At the end of this poor experience I asked for a receipt stating I don't want to see any service charge on the bill telling waitress its nothing to do with her work but the quality of food... the response from waitress was "I know, I know..." - she was ready for such a request straight away and not surprised at all. Avoid this place. There is nothing good there to eat. Especially at the price of £90 which I was served at the end. Its not worth even £20 as it will set your stomach with grease lining.

Day trip to London to meet up and have lunch with family who had visited this restaurant before. We chose a variety of tapas to share all came freshly cooked, so tasty and true to Spanish flavours (one of our party is Spanish). A wide variety to choose from. A lovely calm atmosphere, not rushed and just around the corner from the hustle of Camden market. The service was friendly and efficient. Also the waitress recommended a super bottle of Red. Such a pleasant experience and excellent value.

Went for my partners birthday what a shambles! Food was revolting £94 I was mortified how they can justify this.. Gambas was swimming in turmeric water steak was shredded up like peppers and DRY !! Patas bravas was just fried potatoes with a sauce on the side nothing was memorable..best thing was the olives! we been coming here for a while but the food tonight was honestly disgusting must have changed the chef but I wouldn't recommend at all!!

Been there few times and the service is always on point! Arianna, Anna and Otto are super nice and the service is quick and flawless. The food is also great! Shout out to the chef for the chorizo paella and the delicious croquetas! Not to ignore the mean margarita made by Anna! Loved it!

We really enjoyed a relaxed Friday afternoon late lunch here. Plenty of Spanish standards and a few different dishes served by friendly staff in relaxed surroundings. Will definitely go back.

Well, I thought long and hard over this review, saved it overnight. I had a long chat with the shift manager, Luca, before I paid and he understands my concerns. On reflection, I was being ultra picky and I don't think my feedback on the night is the kind of issue thst would affect anyone else, especially when the restaurant is busy. On Monday it was quiet, and I had too much to look at. So let's talk about the fabulous food and drink. First, a lovely semi-sweet Amontillado to settle the pallet, then a super Monasterio from Reuda, all grapefruit, melon and a touch of spicy fennel. As the paella takes 30 mins to cook, I took a small board of delicious Iberico ham and some olives to pass the time as I people watched. Service is smart, attentative and friendly. The waiting team was familiar with some regular, local customers, which is great to see, and they nade non-regs like myself very welcome. Main course was the veg paella - simply gorgeous, nothing like the shop bought catastrophes, this was succulent, gently spiced and oh so filling. The onsite chef was trained by a Spanish chef, so the lesson has been well learned. This was as good as you get in Andalusia. Excellent food all round. I am aware Jamon Jamon is a small chain, but do not be fooled. The Camden outlet felt unique. The small menu is well-catered, the surroundings and people are lovely. If I am working up this way again, I may pop in for a tapas. And thanks for listening, Luca!

While walking in the Camden district we came across a Spanish restaurant🇪🇸 The menu offers tapas and a wide choice of paella 🤗 The place is typically decorated from the entrance to the toilet with excellent Spanish background music 👌 We ordered ham and cheese plus a super good paella marinière 😋 As a drink, obviously a top sangria as well. I recommend this place to eat typically Spanish ⚠️ the service tax on the bill costs between £7 and £8

Spotted a deal for 50% off the bill so grabbed that to dine here and try it out for the first time. Service was very friendly and speedy, seating us wherever we fancied as it wasn't too busy just yet. I noticed that some items on the physical menu were slightly more than the online menu so that might need updating for future reference. There was also a few more items that weren't online. We started ordering several tapas dishes between the two of us and the waiter kindly advised us on portion sizes so that we weren't overwhelmed and had ordered too much, obviously we could always order more which is very sensible and therefore what we ordered was just right. We had the Patatas Brava (slightly disappointing, essentially just cubed potatoes with drizzles of what looked like ketchup and mayo although it was fine just not really traditional at all), the ham croquettes (delicious!), the deep fried chicken breast strips (slightly too dry and chewy), beef cheeks on mashed potatoes (dry, rock hard, virtually inedible although the mash was nice if a little too oily as it sat in a well of oil), calamari (generic, nothing special nor very hot essentially) and the mixed salad (delicious, sweet, nourishing!). Had we paid full price we would've been very disappointed. But as it happens, with two drinks one top (one Sangria, one soft drink) we were fine to pay for all of that for under £45 including service. The surroundings are lovely with a gorgeous skylight and hanging plants beneath it creating a cool Mediterranean style vibe and the music levels were just perfect (sometimes it can feel like you're in a bar!). All in all it was acceptable enough but with so many other establishments in the area I'm not sure if we would go again especially not at full price as the beef cheeks alone were £15 and virtually uneaten.

My grandson and I dropped in for lunch after visiting Camden Market. It's a pleasant restaurant, with a pseudo-garden eating area lit by a large overhead skylight. I chose the chorizo paella, washed down with a Estrella Galicia beer, and my grandson a tortilla (and then another one!). The food and service were both well up to standard, and I would have no hesitation visiting again were I to return to Camden Town.

Love this place. Great selection of dishes and speedy service. As a big Tapas fan this really impressed. Right outside the hustle of bustle of Camden Town too, so perfect for the start of the night.

Sangria wasn't great, it tastes like soda mixed with a splash of wine. Food was generally good and large portions but wasn't like tapas. Would prefer cheaper smaller portions for more variety like classic tapas style food. And tortilla de patatas was a bit bland.

Just walking by on the way to the Zoo, when we called in for brunch. Food was fantastic, service was perfect and it was all half price! Total bill for 4 was under £28! Amazing the for London.

During my first trip to London, I happened to stumble upon this little gem on the last day!!. The food was lovely, Paella perfect, potato tapas crispy on outside and soft on the inside. It was one of the best lunch experiences during my trip. The staff went above and beyond to help me out with my lost bill when I contacted them a month later due to business expense. Truly the best in customer service. Big Thanks to Arianna!!

We had some lovely tapas here. I can really recommend the albondigas in tomato sauce. I haven't tasted them like that in a long time! Friendly staff. Music a bit too loud for a good conversation.

We had a really tasty meal- a few different variations on dishes offered from usual Tapas restaurants and all very good. Highlight was the Paella, which was freshly prepared and excellent. Generous portion for a Paella for 1 - great for 2 to share after 3/4 tapas to start. Highly recommend.

After a long walk around London Zoo came upon this place... They found us a table and everything all good... Service was good and also food it got quite busy around 6ish so nice atmosphere but not too loud

I thoroughly enjoyed the delectable dishes at the restaurant. The culinary experience was exceptional as we indulged in a variety of items 1. gamas 2. Chorizo 3. Paella with seafood, 4. paella with ink, 5. calamari. Each dish left a lasting impression with its incredible flavors, making the overall dining experience immensely satisfying. The service and ambiance added to the positive experience; everything was simply outstanding, leaving no room for complaints. The staff provided excellent service, contributing to the overall pleasant vibe of the place. Tip: Reserve to dine at Soho for a delightful experience.

It's a very nice place with a nice atmosphere. The members of the staff who served us were very kind. The problem is that despite the tapas were pretty good, the paella was a complete disaster, tasteless, with all the ingredients but without any seasoning...

We chanced upon this when we were looking for a place to eat. And we are really glad we did. The food is good. And the restaurant feels airy and inviting. I particularly like the natural daylight coming through the glass roof. The mushrooms and the prawns are highly recommended.

Had the tapas, all very tasty and fresh. Was advised it was a 30 - 35 minute wait for the paella so had to skip it. Took it as as good sign as it wasn't very busy so it wasn't going to be just heated up in a microwave!

I’m sorry Jamon Jamon, we’ve just had a very bad experience. Rock hard dry bread, exchanged for even harder bread. Cold pasta with the sea bass and no recognition anything could be wrong. Lazy cooking sums it up.

A Good Surprise with My Son...for Dinner 🍽 😋

We enjoyed this little restaurant near the theatre district in Soho for a nice paella dinner. We had been here on a prior trip to London near The Shaftsbury Hotel, now The Piccadilly London Westend Hotel, and went back for another fun dinner experience. We’ll be back.

Nice place for some Spanish tapas

First time for me to go in this restaurant. Nice and quiet atmosphere, friendly staff and clean place. I felt like home once i entered the shop. There was Arianna welcoming me and my friend and she was really nice on talking to us and explained how the kind of dishes they do. Definitely i’ll come back and recommend to people. 5 star for everything.
