Excellent food and service, prices are good too.

The chicken tasted strongly like fish, and had a very bad aftertaste. Server was very rude. One of my friends had brought her own soft drink, and the server said that usually she would have to charge because drinking it in her restaurant would be disrespectful. We saw her point and never disagreed, plus we said we wouldn’t do it again, but she kept saying it was disrespectful. My friend then simply explained that the reason she brought her own soft drink, is because she didnt want to drink coca cola due to the boycott. The server then proceeded to say, and I quote, “They can all die, I don’t care”.Extremely disrespectful thing to say, especially in this climate, and it is safe to say we will never be coming here again. Bad food, plus Horrible service.

The food was delicious! I'm goin to make it my fav place.. also i had mango sticky rice..best one I've ever had!! We went during the closing time so everything happened fast.

Good, convenient Thai food. Based on what we had, the pineapple fried rice was the star followed by green curry paired with coconut rice. Staff were friendly and it was a pleasant lunch experience.

Everyone was so kind - our waiter Nichael was so patient and made sure to check for our dietary requirements as me and my friend are vegetarian/vegan. Thank you so much for the lovely food (I recommend the pineapple tofu rice - amazing). The portions are great value for money, we didn’t have space for dessert! Also the food came out so fast, they took our orders and within minutes we had our tea and food. He also kindly offered us free refills on our tea. Also the service charge here goes 100% to the staff which is so good to know!

The main thing about this place is how welcoming and entertaining the staff members are, and how they make sure you feel comfortable. The pad thai was flavourful and they gave so many prawns with my dish, and the blue lagoon was perfect. The chill crisp oil was not spicy at all but the waiter still got extra chilli flakes on my dish so I can't complain too much about my preference.

Walked in the restaurant without plan, and we had amazing dinner. We ordered Pineapple fried rice x2, and Tom yum noodle soup, tempura, satay chicken. Gotta say the pineapple fried rice is stunning. Satay chicken not my favourite so dry, tempura was okay, Tom yum soup sour enough good! Would definitely come again.

A favourite place to eat in London. The food is delicious, and the prices are extremely reasonable for being so central! Some of the food presentation is wonderful to see, and I've always been able to get a table for at least two at a moment's notice.

The service experience at this establishment was notably unsatisfactory due to the behavior of the waiter. Despite service charges being optional, I felt coerced into paying them. The waiter employed various tactics to persuade me, including thinly veiled threats of denying service in the future. This unprofessional conduct has certainly influenced my decision not to return. The food was fine.

We have been eating in this restaurant for well over ten years, the location suits us to meet with friends, but the standard of the food has been declining. So on Tuesday evening thought we would give it another try, sadly we had a very poor meal. I am not sure what has happened, the menu looks the same but the food is no where near as good as it was.

Service is quick and the food is tasty. Prices are also very reasonable for the area.

We just stumbled upon this place and it was some of the best Thai food I’ve had in ages. The ingredients were so fresh. It was very close to the quality of food you get when you’re actually in Thailand.

Poor service and rush to clean the table. Small portion and very expensive for their size. Mix seafood tom yum soup with only one small prawn, one mussel, one squid and a tiny scallop in it. Not worth the visit.

The service was very good and the food was very reasonably priced for central london! My friend and I enjoyed the big portion of food. I think the starters we ordered were okay. The chicken bbq was dry and the prawn wrapped were just okay. People around ordered the tapas combo and it looked a lot nicer. So i’d recommend getting the tapas combo instead. The noodles we got were good but personally a bit salty. Overall was a good experience, great portion and price, just ordered the wrong dishes. What we ordered: Prawn wraps, Thai style marinated bbq chicken, Drunken noodles (duck), Pad si-ew (duck)

Great service! We ate outside and had a wasp buzzing and the head of house ‘bbq-Ed’ it (his words not mine ha ha ) Throughly recommend the place. Mains were good but starters very small for the price. Expected bigger portions.

Excellent service and food with lots of options. The waitress was excellent today, she was very patient and welcoming. She explained which curries used fish sauce, which was very useful as one of my friends is a vegan. Highly recommend this place!

This is the second time I've been to this restaurant and the food was as good as I had remembered! The service was a little slow and the place feels a little small (although there is a basement) but the food is excellent!

On a balmy evening walking down Charlotte Street in Central London we came across this small but delightful little Thai restaurant and decided to have dinner there. We chose to sit outside at the little table & chairs on the pavement, enjoy the weather and watch the world go be. We selected the Thai Fish Cakes as a shared starter, then Pad Thai ( with chicken) Noodles, Green Curry & rice and to finish we selected fresh Mango Sticky Rice with coconut cream dressing & Fried Banana Fritters with icecream. Just all so delicious and authentic and reasonably priced. The service was excellent, friendly & efficient & we'll definetly be back. Great find.

We loved this place before however it went downhill. Our experience recently with them was appalling. We are from southeast asian descent and my family (4 adults and 2 kids) went to this place for our early dinner. We were placed at the back of the restaurant next to the toilets. Where there were plenty of tables available (no reserved signs) in the front. The tables inside (near the windows) were occupied by English / European / Caucasians costumers. We asked the staff if we can move tables as we are not comfortable at the back (people come and go to use the toilet and my husband had to move his chair/stand up every time someone wants to use the toilets) we were advised that they can accommodate us there or at the basement (closed that time and will open in 30mins) they made us wait outside with hungry kids. We left the restaurant in dismay and had lovely ramen in Ippudo nearby! Dont get me wrong, the food here was delicious. Just the service and the treatment we have received was awful.

To be honest, it used to be better, it seems to have gone for smaller portions now and thinner drunken noodles.

I visited Siam Central, London with 2 other guests for dinner. Thankfully, we got a table in spite of not making a reservation. They have seating at the ground and basement levels. It's a cozy place with a relaxed ambience. I had the Tequila Sunrise. Quite refreshing. I asked the staff to make it less sweet and the complied. We had the spring rolls, drunken noodles with Tofu, and the green curry with a side of egg noodles. The person taking our orders explained carefully regarding the use of fish sauce etc when it came to vegetarian vs vegan options. This was truly remarkable. On a busy evening, to take the time out to explain such finer aspects is something i really appreciated. The staff also tuned the spice/heat levels according to our liking. The food was terrific! Fresh, not too greasy and very flavourful. Every single item was great. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I would certainly recommend Siam Central to anyone looking for good Thai food in London. Kudos to the staff and the management!

Extremely pathetic staff! Worst service from one of the server named Nishad or Nisshard I’m not sure. Food is good, other staff is good and we did want to give 5 stars but the way Nishad spoke to us with disgust, very very very awful ! Owner needs to check on his behaviour.

Tasty authentic food. We were in group of 8 people from different countries and most of the ordered non-veg thali and fish thali and everyone was very happy with the taste. Would go again in future.

This is not the first time we had thai food, even tho the location and the restaurant is nice, all the food we had is a bit to sweet for us but the staff is so polite and friendly plus the food came right away.

The food was a little underwhelming compared to the expectations the pictures on the website had set. I ordered the prawn pad thai and it was not one of the best I had, almost tasted burnt… my boyfriend ordered the traditional fried rice and couldn’t even finish it because he really wasn’t enjoying it. Bit disappointing overall.

Did my bday here and also had food on a separate occasion. The food never disappointed me, and it doesn’t taste like a chain Thai restaurant. Fair price. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Pineapple rice, Tom Yum goong soup and fried pho were all so mediocre that the waiter took the dishes away before they were finished!?

Most of the food was good, pineapple rice lacked salt and when asked for some salt they took the whole meal to get it, when we had finished eating. The waiters excuse was that he was with another table, that’s understandable for a few mins, but the table had eaten, paid and left before he bothered to give us salt. Once the bill came, we asked to take off the service charge. He started questioning me, I said I don’t need to give a reason it’s optional as it states on the receipt and I don’t want to pay it. The second bill came back and he said next time you can only get takeaway, essentially saying don’t come back. Once we wanted to pay, I wanted to pay by cash, £20 and the rest on the card, the restaurant doesn’t take anything below £5 on card. So I gave him £40, he then told me we don’t have change, at this point I was fed up, and the man sitting next to us interjected and asked why don’t you have change you’re a restaurant, how can you treat customers like this. He ended up helping us with change, but it wasn’t enough. I found a £10 note in the end and gave the waiter £30 where he gave me all my change in coins. The total of the meal was £67 and we split it in 3. Not a small bill by any means. But as we were younger, we were treated much differently to the other customers.

Worst place I could have ever been. First a minimum was enforced of £9.5 per person, then service charge was no longer optional. This is a sad experience. Staff were very rude!

I’d like to start this review by saying that I am a regular at Siam and also Thai metro. However I was very surprised and shocked on last visit. On Saturday the 23rd April I was with my two friends one straight one gay(myself undefined ) . We were sat on the first floor right next to the ‘male’ toilets which I then proceeded to use after I was seated. My friends were then subjected to questioning whilst I was in bathroom and then when I returned to the table I was verbally uscolded infront of other customers like an insubordinate child. Honestly for the location of the restaurant I am absolutely mortified for others that don’t have the ability to voice their concerns in a safe environment.

A Londra come turisti, mio marito ed io siamo andati a pranzo in questo locale perché consigliato da amici. Non siamo rimasti delusi: cibo eccellente, personale educato, gentile e molto professionale, molto ben organizzato. Servizio veloce, atmosfera rilassante, molto piacevole e confortevole. Toilette pulita e fornita di tutto l’occorrente. Il conto in linea con la quantità e qualità dei piatti consumati, ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità. Il tutto accompagnato da cortesia e gentilezza. Lo consigliamo vivamente e di sicuro ci torneremo!

Tuesday night in March, lucky enough to get the last free inside table downstairs. Good service, generous portions of delicious food and friendly waiting staff - what more could you ask for?

The Tom yum soup was amazing and the Thai curry was a little thin but amazing flavour as well. Noodles and rice were cooked well. Good size portions and good price for Tottenham Court Road. Service was okay but the waiters were not amazing as hardly available.

One of my all-time favourite places, I have been their regular take-away customer for about four years and I have not had a single bad experience. The food is excellent, reasonably-priced and always promptly served.

A pleasant place to eat. It is very popular and booking is advised. Although not the finest dining, and slightly cramped due to its popularity, the food is still good, the atmosphere acceptable and the value for money second to none. For a value meal out in a central London restaurant you really can't do better. They also have tables outside for the summer months.

Our food was so salty. Both of our stir fry sauces were basically soy sauce and it looked like every dish had the same salty watery sauce! We mentioned this to the waiter who was polite, he then went to speak to the manager - who stood there pulling faces! We wasn’t asking for money off, we just wanted to inform them. The manager didn’t even have the decency to come over and apologise. Also on entering the restaurant I felt that the manager was very rude he didn’t smile and the way he demanded I put my small umbrella near the door! Suffice to say that I kept my umbrella with me and he was lucky I was in a good mood yesterday otherwise I would have told him exactly what I thought of him. Seriously who does he think he is!!!

We went to Siam Central with friends before going to the theatre on a Saturday. Although we were eating early there were still a few other tables taken. The food was very good. We shared vegetable tempura and prawn crackers to start followed by penang curries (inc tofu, chicken). The bill came to approximately £90 for the 4 of us including a bottle of wine and a beer. We would happily return if we are in the area.

Siam central has been a firm favourite for many years. Affordable and delicious Thai food at a fantastic location. One note for vegetarians, most of their dishes contain fish sauce, so do check before you order.

Bebe (Manager) is absolutely fantastic!! This is my go-to Thai place and we all love it. I have been here so many times, cant even count that. The atmosphere is cozy, its child-friendly and the food is DELICIOUS! We usually order green curry, satay, pad thai and pineapple fried rice - my fav! The staff is kind and very quick..just looooveeee this place :) ps: reasonable priced as well.

Authentic Thai food for a really great price right in the centre of London. This place is a hidden gem, tucked away from Soho. All food is incredibly tasty and tastes exactly like Thai food back in Thailand (I’ve been to Thailand before!). Thank you Siam Central for a wonderful experience. This is my favourite Thai restaurant in all of London. Will be back again!

Overpriced food, not worth the money!

I'd rate Siam around 4.5 stars, certainly higher than 4 but not quite a 5. The food is aromatic, colourful, and very tasty. Staff are polite and attentive. The space is rather tight, which I think spoils the atmosphere a little. Anyway, I highly recommend Siam Central, and its sister restaurant Thai Metro.

I love Red Curry Beef with Noodles and this place is the best for it and not only that every single food is so tasty here. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

Foods are ok, I’ve been there many times, but no next time. Cause, when we just finished the food, the next second a guy ask me,bill? We didn’t have the dessert yet, I’ve told him, we were order a mango dessert right? After that, bring the mango sticky rice, it’s good, after we finished, we are going to order some drinks as well, but, he just bring the bill already. It’s really confused me, the close time is 22:00pm, we are not order any drinks, they just wanna us to leave? Soooooooooo bad experience. Before, there is my favorite one, but no next time, cause Iwanna have a good time with my friends.

Used to eat here frequently a long while ago when I used to work in the area. It was great back then but sadly not anymore. We had a booking (thankfully as it was very busy with people queuing for a table - usually a great sign). It’s cheap but without the cheerful. We waited 40 mins with no sign of our order. Four tables with unbooked parties who sat 20 mins after us had their food come out. It turns out that the waiter forgot to order our food. He suggested he will ask them to speed it up - why didn’t you ask when you realised??? Water wasn’t given to us when we had ordered it, and had to ask for this. The food arrived and one of the chicken dishes just had bits of awful looking rubbery chicken (which we were assured was chicken) and it was just filled with chicken skin. We raised this with another waiter who didn’t say anything and just walked off?? We asked for this to be swapped again, and they did. No apology was given but plenty of ‘we are so busy’. If you’re so busy to let quality slip by that much perhaps have a smaller number of covers? Who we think was the manager did remove the cost of the dish from the bill. Would not recommend for anything - not the food or the experience. One star is because I can’t put zero. Edit: I am absolutely disgusted to read it wasn’t chicken as my understanding is that the chicken is the only halal option for your place. Your lax approach is dangerous! Thankfully this was someone without a life-threatening allergy. We have all seen how fatal this can be from the news! Buck up your practices otherwise you will be reported.

GOT PAIN IN STOMACHE, ordered drunken rice with duck at restaurant. Woke up during night with such pain in the belly and I know this pain is from not hygienic food and my body is fighting. Definitely from this restaurant because I ate at home from fresh cooked food prior to 5 days coming at Siam on weekend. I dont like to pay +20£ for being sick

The food portion is small. I love the pineapple fried rice, its so good! But i’m surprised the green curry doesn’t come with rice, and I don’t know why it tastes a bit bitter.

After coming back from a trip to Thailand I was in love with Thai food and eager for another fix. This place provides authenticity that brought back memories of my time in Thailand.

Food was good but service was bad. We have order 2nd round of food, a Indian looking waiter has keep asking if can take away dishes, also he couldn't speak English very well. after 2nd or 3rd time I said there's half dishes still there, we're not finished, but he can't understand it. We're Asian girls, I feel there's racist. Many empty tables around, but If he explained dinning period must finish in 1 hour, that's fine. But was not a friendly remind me or anything nice said. I would like to know the name of that waiter, has been told not allowed to give name, not allowed to know any one's name, not allowed to talk to manager even. What kind of business!!! So bad luck for a Chinese spring festival day, ruining my year ahead.. Response to the reply: doesn't matter who own the restaurant, we've been treated badly with the waiter. I couldn't talk to him because wasn't sure my safety with his face reaction. Also have been refuse to talk to the manager as well, this's just the hard wall to able get help. plus I've arrived on 1:10pm and my friend arrived in 1:15pm(have train ticket to prove that if needed). 1st round order of food probably on the table around 1:40pm, and we also ordered the 2nd round of food which took much longer. there's no one have ever told us before need to be finish in 1 hour time, and the waiter almost angry with us that we didn't know the reason. Once know the 1hour rules we've immediately wrap-up and left. I think we've done nothing wrong as a customer, and not deserve such bad experience.

Busy, attentive staff at the start and food was good. Let down at the end as we hadn’t ordered dessert asked for the bill. Paid the bill and was finishing our tea but was told they needed the table back immediately despite not finishing our drinks.
