Jamon Jamon - Belsize Park in Camden

My family and I came in after a long hard day moving house. We were served by Sophie she was great and had a lovely personality. The food was really nice especially the chicken and chorizo paella and the Amazing tastes! Great place to eat and chill with the family.

We didn't visit the physical restaurant as it was an order via deliveroo. I wouldnt call this food spanish… extremely overpriced for the quality.

Had a lovely paella sitting outside whilst watching the world go by. Directly opposite Belsize Park tube station, very handy. They have a nice Spanish cider too.

Lovely local restaurant opposite Belsize Park station. Intimate and had that Spanish feel with the dark wooden decor. Clean. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Really nice. Good menu of tapas, paella and more. I was just one person and portions were huge. I went with the paella marinera (mixed seafood paella). You can order to size for 1 person or 2 people. Even for 1 person, the portion was huge! You do need to wait 30 minutes if ordering this or longer if it is busy but I didn't mind the wait. I enjoyed my drink, the music and atmosphere. When the paella did arrive, it was beautifully presented and so good. Felt like being back in Spain. The seafood and flavours worked well. I really enjoyed it. I would go back with friends. Spanish dining is better with other people so you can order a bigger variety of tapas and other items. Reasonably priced given the area. Good service, delicious food and a lovely evening to end the week. Would recommend.

One of the best Paella I've ever had. The owner told me they import the Chorizzo directly from Spain, that's why it's so tasty. Had chicken and chorizzo Paella which was absolutely amazing. Well worth the 30 minutes wait to prepare it. The portion size was quite generous as well. Had the rioja house wine, which was good. For desert I tried their churros which were also really good. Will definitely come back and I recommend it to anyone that wants to try an authentic Spanish Paella!!!

As always, amazing food. Sophie was an amazing waitress. She even spoke some Spanish to us. Can’t recommend it enough. Those salted pepper were different gravy.

We just went to have dinner, and had a lovely time. Very relaxed ambiance with great service, all the waiters are very lovely. The food was good, pretty standard and traditional tapas like you would have in a typical Spanish bar. The quality of the produce fits the price well. Perhaps in terms of the wine list, this could be improved and expanded. For instance, there are very good Spanish wines at an affordable price which could be offered as a middle point in price.

Me and my wife with my sister and friends ate at your restaurant on haverstock Hill last night. We all have been sick with food poisoning. We ordered different paellas. My sister is ok who ordered the vegetarian paella but rest of us have been terrible sick. I would definitely look into your food quality. Your Seafood and chorizo was definitely expired or had issues.

Best place ever!!! I had a Paella and it was simply divine. The place is friendly and the food is tasty. I strongly recommend stopping here for some food or just to chill in the outside seating.

The food was sub-par, the potatas bravas were literally small chunky chips, the tomatoes source served with them was ketchup. It wasn't authentic in the slightest. The gambas and squid dishes, were lacking flavour and seemed as if they were defrosted/reheated from the the previous evening (or week). Id avoid, there are better places in walking distance. They should rename themselves Jamon as they're not worth of the second one.

Waiter was not very friendly, or knew much about what he was serving. Food was good, besides the octopus that didn’t have much flavour in it. Very fast serving.

High prices and bad service. I bought 2 paellas which cost £37 to eat there. Cocacola in glass with ice 3.70 And for providing their service £7.70 which was not good. And on top of that, they speak to you in Spanish, which to me seems like a lack of respect. They don't start speaking English when you are in an English-speaking country. They speak to you in Spanish without asking first.

I've been here several times and I love the tapas

Jamon Jamon in Belsize Park offers a delightful taste of Spain right in the heart of London! We enjoyed a variety of tapas including the Croquetas de Manchego and Croquetas de Jamon, each bursting with flavor and perfectly crispy. The Huevos Rotos was a deliciously hearty dish that paired wonderfully with a refreshing glass of Tinto de Verano. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making for a perfect dining experience.

Shocking. This is probably the worst restaurant I’ve been to in years. The waiter was incredibly rude and unfriendly. Also looked very dirty. The service was terrible. The coffee when it finally arrived was awful and the milk was sour. The whole experience was terrible

Rating - 5.5/10 Service - 4/10 Slow service with one worker being overworked. Took a while to get served before waiting an additional 40 mins for paella. Workers are very unattentive. Aesthetics - 6/10 Portion - Small for 2/3 people, 1/2 max. Pricing - 7/10 Value For Money - 6/10 Flavour of Paella was bland, unflavourful despite the set of seafood. Unauthentic taste, decently priced for sharing costs. Recommendations Seafood paella for the flavour of mussels & prawns.

Terrible service, too almost an hour for food to arrive and we had to leave half of it as we were going to cinema. Staff did not care. Such a shame as used to be so good here

My review is only based on 2 of the dishes: patatas bravas and croquetas de jamon. My friend and I went in for a snack the other day and were disappointed by the lack of freshness by the food. We’ve been to nicer spanish restaurants where they have made their potatoes and croquets in house but the ones here were definitely just frozen and heated up. I can’t speak for any of the other dishes but I don’t think I will go back.

Most of the food was not that great. While I wouldn't go as far as to call the food bad it was also rather bland and definitely not authentic. The mixed seafood paella was pretty nice though! The staff seemed pretty bored but were not unfriendly. Overall it was an OK visit but I might not want to go again in light of other choices for tapas.

Well I have to admit I should not have gone there after a summer in Spain. It is quite different of what I was expecting, but the food was ok, nice and not very expensive for the place. It is still far off what you can find in Spain, but being in London, it is what you can find the closest to the original savor of Spain.

Incredible food and warm atmosphere

Great food, great service, great location, on road parking on side roads and paid bays on main road. Directly opposite the underground station in fact you could not imagine how close it is. Public transport is a real plus. This visit was on a Groupon voucher deal and it really was worth every penny. We both ate none stop and could not finish the portions I actually could not believe how amazing the food was. The restaurant is classy with plenary of seating inside and out. Great drink selection both soft and alcoholic. All in all I have no complaints and would wholly recommend this place. The interesting thing about this visit is a lady friend of mine saw the Groupon offer all the way in Cambridge and booked it, she came to london and we called and booked our slot and the fun began.

Best veg paella outside of Spain!!!

Poor tired service. No atmosphere. Food was good but not even water offered to a cramp 6 person table converted for 8.

Food was ok but nothing worth mentioning that was wow. The chorizo paella was a bit too salty and the tapas were hit and miss. Sangria was also like kids juice. Only great thing is that they accomodated us on a short notice.

Just bad. Horrible service (forgot our drinks and order entirely, had to give it again 20 minutes in), never checked on, and food is mediocre slop. Sangria is watered down, the fino was served room temperature. You can do much better, don’t waste your time here. Nothing redeeming.

Had English breakfast and coffee very good food and good value for money will call again

Food was pretty good. Rioja was excellent and served at a perfect temperature. Service was woeful. I know paella takes a while, but I felt like I had to remind the waiter that I was waiting, and then the paella magically appeared within a minute. After I’d finished I’d have liked to have been asked if I wanted to order a dessert or a coffee, but nothing. Left to my own devices for over half an hour, and pretty much ran out of time to order anything else. Suspect I could probably have just got up and walked out without paying as I was completely invisible to the staff.

Part of the wide pavement opposite Belsize Park Station, bounded by planters and ropes, forms the restaurant's pretty patio. Bright tables and comfortable chairs make a perfect place for drinking coffee and people watching. The tapas menu looks interesting and will be tested next time.

Lovely variety of food. Menus need to be updated to show info such as vegan, GF... Restaurant was busy and service a little slow, however the service we did get was good.

The food is nice enough but the service is non-existent. The owners should just be honest and advertise the place as self-service so at least you would know not to expect the "waiting staff" to make any effort at all. If you eat outside beware that the chairs are very low with respect to the tables and there is a significant slope so the relative height of chair and tables changes, the perfect arrangement for knocking things over.

My experience at this establishment left much to be desired. The initial disappointment began when I was charged £3 for a mere four bite-sized pieces of bread that teetered on the verge of staleness. The food served was mediocre at best, but it was the drinks that genuinely failed to meet expectations. I found the sangria to be remarkably bland and uninspiring, leading me to switch to the tinto de Verano in hopes of a better experience. Unfortunately, this choice proved to be even more disappointing. The tinto de Verano arrived without ice, and it was evident that the mixing proportions were off, resulting in a drink that was far from refreshing. In my honest opinion, I would hesitate to recommend this place to others. If anything, I would suggest considering other options in Belsize Square or Hampstead Village, where you're likely to encounter better value and overall quality. Having spent many years in Spain and being deeply familiar with the culture and its culinary landscape, I feel that this establishment falls short in truly reflecting the essence of Spanish hospitality and cuisine.

We used to eat here 15 years ago when we lived around the corner. It was a great tapas place. Sadly it has deteriorated since then. The food is a sort of parody of tapas Everything comes with these bland potatoes that bear no resemblance to, for example, patatas bravas. The Jambon huevos was more like British seaside ham, eggs and chips. It was all bland and uninteresting. Such a shame.

Love this place. Always great food and great service. We keep coming back.

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Flavourful cheesy garlic bread and a delectable chorizo and chicken paella cooked to perfection.

Great tapas, good service, everything I like.

The food was nice, but the service was let down by everyone. We were the biggest table they had on that night, and they put us in a corner, but we had to get up and come to them every time we wanted to be served and order additional things. They never made the effort to see if we where ok or to clear the table. We were neglected the whole time then wanted almost £40 service charge, for what!!! Got that removed from the bill, paid and left. Personal I wouldn't be returning to this establishment.

Nice spot to satisfy your hunger. You can build a meal as large or small as you want. Loved the sangria and cider.

Stopped by for breakfast this morning. They offer a wonderful Spanish breakfast that has Chorizo and Serrano Ham in place of normal sausages and bacon. The service was great and the food was better!

Chose to meet a friend in Belsize Park as a middle point between our homes and we picked this place as we both fancied tapas! Lovely food, good quality, nice atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. Also an incredibly quick service. Excellent value for money and I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more goodies. We had the ibérico jamon board, calamare e croquettes, and a sharing marinara paella. And the churros to finish!

Ein super freundlicher Römer in einem spanischen Restaurant sehr gutes Frühstück 1A perfekt, dass es original Scharfe Sauce gibt mit Habaneros drin das ist prima so. Wir waren zum Frühstück hier: churros mit Schokolade - ein Traum!

Excellent tapas experience with good atmosphere. A very enjoyable fun evening with good food and service.

The food was very average and when I asked the waiter if the paella was too big for me and my son and husband he said no I needed to order more food. I don’t like when waiters don’t tell you the truth just to get you to spend more money ! The paella was enough for 6 persons and I was very disappointed that they didn’t care about wastage.
