Average food, service that seemed to be rather passive, especially the man behind the bar. Used to love it here but gone down in hill.

A bit noisy for some with hearing difficulties.

Great food and fantastic service. We had the group set menu and there was plenty to go round. Catered for vegetarians in the group as well. We had a great night!

Cracking tapas and tasty paella.

Excellent place, possibility to make the menu with 3 tapas or choose individual dishes. The tortilla is very good. The staff is very professional and kind. The coffee is also good. I would definitely go back.

We had a great time at Evuna! The food was delicious and came out quickly, which we really appreciated. Big shout-out to our waiter Pablo—friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. Will definitely be back :)

Honestly the one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. The waiters who served us gave us looks and a straight faces while talking in another language to eachother the entire time we were there but not with anyone else! Smiling and checking in with EVERY table around us the entire time but we were not asked if we’re enjoying our food or drinks which were quite literally chucked at us. He passed our drinks so far from reach and didn’t even say ‘Here’s…. and this is …’ no interaction at all no smile no look at our faces the entire dining experience. The most horrible part is when our food was ‘served’ to us, he didn’t look at us on approach, no smile, no ‘hello’. He slammed the food on the bar (far from reach again) while looking away and just mumbled ‘paella’. We were actually quite shocked and jumped from how rude and disrespectful it was from an establishment that were paying good money to eat at btw. I felt a lot of prejudice if I’m being honest with you, there’s only been a few instances in the city I’ve ever felt like this for a long long time. I cannot say for sure if this was because we were POCs but even if we weren’t this treatment is unacceptable.I would not be assuming this if the service around us was the same. Even, when I had politely asked for the bill, instead of coming over he ignored me and continued having a conversation with staff who was on their lunch break?! They also had the audacity to ask for service charge!

It was my job to book a meal for a group of colleagues from across the country so wanted to impress and Evuna absolutely nailed it, the service was amazing and the food was incredible, as noted by everyone! They even called almost immediately when one of my group left their laptop bag which meant they could get it back before they got on their train which really saved the day! Do make sure to book ahead if you have an even slightly bigger group as it gets very busy.

Unbelievable food, tasted better than tapas i’ve had in Spain, and lovely quick service

Genuinely wow. I’m not even sure what to say in this review - the food was phenomenal, every single dish was implacable. The service was warm, quick and so friendly. The atmosphere was cosy and authentic. I have travelled and lived in different countries and this dining experience is certainly in my top 5 internationally. Couldn’t reccomend more!

The worst dinning experience in the UK! We ordered a seafood paellas and a lunch tapas set. However, since the manu specified paellas requires 40 mins wait, we kept waiting with 1 lunch set tapas served. After 45 mins wait, the waiter cleared our table and we asked what’s going on. He insisted we only ordered 1 person lunch set manu. How come the small tapas can feed two persons? The waiter did not repeat our order at the beginning and did not check on us even once during our meal with just one small tapas. He did not even gave us an appology for missing our order. It leaded us to a real rush to the airport without a proper lunch. It’s the worst restaurant in my whole trip! Definitely not recommending!

I really wanted to like this tapas restaurant because the staff are so welcoming and efficient. The decor and atmosphere are also wonderful. However, with the exception of the whitebait, everything we ordered was poor quality. I’ve eaten tapas many times in Spain and we have two excellent tapas restaurants nearby in London so I know how good tapas taste- and this was not it. I couldn’t bring myself to tell the lovely serving staff this on the night but I cannot recommend Evuna Manchester to anyone.

The food was delicious, the restaurant is well decorated and has the nicest atmosphere. My son, who is autistic was having a bad day and was really overwhelmed. The staff were amazing at helping us to settle him, they moved us to a different table and really looked after us. The best customer service I have ever experienced!

A charming restaurant, the food is very good and they have some very nice wines, and they are also very friendly.

Every tapas is delicious every time we visit! Great service as well. Love all the vegetarian dishes (the tortilla de patatas & the garlic wild mushrooms with cheesy mashed potatoes are exceptional).

It's amazing that Manchester has this outstanding tapas restaurant. Service was top notch, with the boquerones and patatas bravas tremendous. But it was the dessert that stole the show. The crema and basque cheesecake were ridiculous good, and we had to fight over the last bites. Glorious place to drop by after watching a game.

Saturday afternoon late lunch for two couples, our freinds had been before, first time for us. Overall, fantastic. Service, selection, quality of food - no surprise walk-ins get turned away, the best places get booked up. Smoked Paprika Chicken my favourite, but everything was of a very high standard. Averaged around £55 per person including wine and drinks.

I ‘ve eaten here a number of times and whilst the atmosphere remains good the quality of the food has declined. The croquettes are mass produced, and they taste like they have been reheated. Ours were undercooked, cold in the middle. The tortilla was overcooked (burn’t) and dry. The calamari were cold, the cheese portion has decreased and covering it in oil doesn’t make it a tapa. Finally the meatballs - they had forgotten to reheat. Stone cold. I’m saddened the way the venue has taken its eye off the ball. The atmosphere remains but we all pay money to eat and enjoy food. I hope the management take on board these comments. It’s not the first time I’ve had a less than great experience here but it is the first time I’ve posted a review. I’m hoping the management take on board these comments and invest in their product.

I tried to get something to drink but they didn't give me any options as they had everything covered. I just wanted a place and there were free places at the table and bar. The answer was a firm no.

Disappointed. No one came to guide me after I went in. Also, one of the waiters was really rude. He put the plate on the table very heavily and knocked my table every time he passed by. Really confused. The food was too salty. Bad experience.

I was just on a weekend visit to Manchester with family and happened to stumble on this amazing place. We only wanted some olives and bread along with a glass of wine. They were so welcoming and hospitable. Next time I'm in Manchester, I'll definitely be back for tapas.

Very nice atmosphere, and delicious food. We didn't stay for long time, but the people there,were very helpful, friendly and polite.

Nipped into Evuna with the family on the off chance of an early dinner having not booked. We were seated at the bar and proceeded to order numerous tapas which were all very tasty. The local draught beer, Alhambra Especial was also excellent. The staff were polite, attentive and extremely knowledgeable when offering advice on the menu. A little gem of a place.

We came for lunch on Friday last week and everyone present enjoyed the experience. It was possibly the best December lunch we have had anywhere in 20 years of working together. Service was friendly, efficient and inobtrusive, the menu was good value and the wine excellent as always. Thank you all and see you in 2025 - hasta la proxima!

Totally amazing! Atmosphere, food and wine all perfect! The Catalan bread is superb, the chorizo in red wine is an absolute must! Loved it so much I have booked a night in Manchester with my husband just to take him here for dinner! Every dish was wonderful

Found the restaurant by chance, and they squeezed us in. Lovely place with great food and we really enjoyed it.

Unquestionably, with 95%ish approval rating on this site, Evuna is doing someting right, it is a night time haven in the lairy Northern Quarter, comfy, authentic Spanish feel, the all male staff are super cheerful and look genuinely pleased to see you! There are some amazing and unusual wines on their list ( they do take out bottles too...) The tapas however, are quite dull, everything arrives very quick, nothing is particularly hot... Don't get me wrong, portion sizes and prices are good but calamari could be crispy and golden not yellow and soggy, chickpea croquettes were tasteless, goat cheese croquettes, ok but very mild aioli, patatas bravas looked unappealing and were bland, meatballs, ordinairy and luke-warm....Have to say though, I loved the padron peppers and calamar a la plancha but these were blackboard specials. Come on Evuna, pump some excitement, care and imagination into your tapas...some Spanish spirit maybe.....

Very bland and disappointing food. Lovely atmosphere and great location, so a real shame that the food lets it down.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. This is one of my favourite restaurents though my last visit was about 6 months ago. I had their specials of the day 3 tapas . The pulled pork with caramelised onion was bland , onions sauted rather than caramelised and the arugula ( rocket ) was dry and curled up. The goat cheese stuffed mushrooms were bland and hardly any cheese and the salad was not dressed not even a little olive oil and was dry. The garlic prawns were nice though nothing special . The cream Catalina was was dry and tasteless . The only thing I enjoyed was the sherry, even the espresso was just ok . I paid the service charge because the staff were so nice. They kept asking if the food was good and because they were so nice I didn’t want to tell them the truth .

You won’t get a better Tapas restaurant in Manchester. Sit and the bar and eat if you can whilst enjoying the food and atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious tapas on the most part, the cream paprika chicken was absolutely amazing, loved the jamon croquettes! The patas bravas really let the whole thing down, the potato's were like something from the freezer, but everything else was amazing.

Fantastic!! Walked in on a whim after looking at the menu outside. They cleared some space for us to sit as they were fully booked. Felt really authentic and the food was delicious and delivered quickly. I also had they're on tap cervesa which was very good. Would absolutely recommend here again.

Had my birthday lunch here. It was absolutely fantastic, fantastic service, great vibe, and lovely food, can’t fault it.

We made a reservation to sit at the bar. We could barely get there. The place was packed & humming with good energy. The folks behind the bar were running to keep up. The selection of tapas is vast. There should be something on the menu for everyone. Our choices were: pan Catalan, garlic shrimp, chick pea croquette, aubergine and cheese & wild mushrooms on toast. Five were perfect for two people. All dishes were terrific. The Spanish orange wine was likewise spot on. The guys behind the bar treated us nicely. Food comes out quite quickly. It was a pretty enjoyable two hours sitting, eating & drinking at the bar.

Great little Tapas restaurant! We order the lunch combo and everything was tender and tasty! We usually go to a different tapas in chorlton but I have to say this one as on Par! Great service and lovely ambience.

Me and my friend popped in for an unplanned meal. We ordered six items of tapas all of which were really disappointing. We had patatas bravas which are just fried roast potato type things with some tomato sauce dribbled over (I’ve had this multiple times elsewhere but it felt like a kids school meal). We had peppers (awful) and a chicken dish in sauce (again tasted really bad) croquettes we’re okay but again not very tasty. We didn’t really eat the food and waiters didn’t enquire as to why we had mostly only eaten bread. I’ve eaten at the deansgate branch some time ago which was so lovely, but this unfortunately was really poor.

Helpful staff found a table for us, even though we hadn't booked. We had tapas which was delivered nicely on wooden platters. It all seemed pretty authentically Spanish and was very tasty.

Amazing food, great location and the waiter was really quick and friendly.

We went as a party of 10 and had a lovely time. Staff were attentive and alert to dietary needs. I felt well looked after from the moment I walked in.

A decent Spanish restaurant in tapas format. I had ordered the tapas combo with three optional choices. Squid, mixed salad and tortilla. The delicious tortilla is the highlight. The service is excellent too. Friendly and helpful.

I finished really disappointed about the food, I went there with my sister and we didn’t have any fresh tapas, none of the tapas were fresh. Also , the staff charge me the service staff without ask me , I noted about that after left the restaurant, anyway , I will never go back there.

After a wonderful matinee...a little pre dinner drinks and nibbles...this is a Spanish tapas restaurant. It has a cool, working class feels, nice large wooden tables, no pretentious decorations. It was bustling and lively. We chose a nice red wine and a mixed platter of various nibbles. The wine was delicious and the sharing platter was good... however...the price for what we got was equivalent if not more than I have paid in central London. A shame...do visit here...but take a bank loan!
