Great place to eat! The food was delicious with lots to choose from the 3 kitchens. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Great cocktails and would recommend the black martini! We will definitely be back!

Nice food, ok priced. Aside from one guy who was great, everyone else seemed to have an attitude. Maybe they were having a bad day but it was consistently a pretty rubbish experience across 3-4 people we interacted with serving tables.

Had a great night at Exhibition for my birthday, the food was fab and the service was great. When I got home I realised we had been overcharged on our bill and I emailed them and they sorted it really quickly which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

The meal was fantastic!!! We all had a great time.Our table wasn't ready when we arrive and we're asked to get ourselves a drink at the bar. The bar needed more staff but it was a very busy sat night so no worries really. The service to the table was second to non! Everyone was super helpful and friendly, the food was delicious with some great recommendations from the staff. The cocktails were divine! Bit loud for a date or for a conversation so we left after dinner to go somewhere else but I'll definitely be back.We had my 24 year old daughters birthday meal with Exibition in Sept last year and 12 people came over from Liverpool and another 8 from Manchester. All of her friends always comment on your place and how well they were looked after and how amazing the food is !Thanks for another lovely meal !

Nice place with friendly service. But… we had food from all 3 kitchens and everything was saturated with salt. Waitress asked if food was ok and we said it’s ok but all way too salty. She just laughed nervously and walked off. Clearly only asking out of duty rather than genuine interest.

I’ve been in a few times now both for food and events, have a great time every time. Had 12 plates between three last week from across the kitchens and every one was top notch, attentive friendly service too. Highly recommend.

Decor and overall atmosphere of the place is really lovely. Warm and helpful staff But honestly such a shame about the “cauliflower steak” - I understand catering for meat free diet can be difficult when it comes to a Sunday roast but putting a flavourless cut of roasted cauliflower on a plate with a few trimmings and charging £18 feels like a mockery.. Would recommend this place for people who have a more flexible diet , as my friends and family enjoyed their aged beef (that cost only £2 more than a piece of cauliflower) but personally think there are better and more reasonably priced options in Manchester for meat free Sunday roast.

Phenomenal food and a great space. We went at 3pm and it was very baby friendly at this time; our little one was welcome and they accommodated our booking request for pram space; and lots of other families at this time with kids between 0-5yo

The food was AMAZING! EXCELLENT service and staff were efficient and friendly. Atmosphere let it down for me as it was very noisy and felt like a canteen, considering the prices which are VERY expensive. I would have expected something a little more quiet and intimate. 3 kitchens to choose from, South American, Italian, and Swedish.. Basically, it's an over priced Tapas bar, but I must stress the food is AMAZING,TASTY, AND DELICIOUS!

Came for dinner with my brother and son. There's 3 different menus to choose from. As the meat isn't halal we opted for seafood and vegetarian options. The waitress was very helpful in explaining what the individual dishes were and food and drinks arrived in good time considering how busy it was. Our table was booked in advance.

Unbelievable experience last night here. The concept is brilliant - like a food hall but with table service. All the food we tried was next level - interesting, different and completely delicious. The concept is new, exciting and perfectly executed. Please come to London soon!!

Had a fabulous night on Saturday 16/12/2023. Food was out of this world and the staff were brilliant, especially the door staff, and the manager who were amazingly helpful and looked after me when I tripped and fell. I couldn't recommend Exhibition enough!

Food was ok, nothing special but over priced for the size of the portions. It was very loud as everyone was trying to compete with the sh1te DJ they had playing music.

I was really disappointed by the food - I felt it was really lacking for the price point. The biggest issue was how oversalted everything was - especially the dishes from the Basque kitchen. I enjoy well salted food, but this was ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend Exhibition for food, however, there was a good atmosphere to have a drink and the service was excellent.

I took 10 of my family here for dinner. I was very impressed with the vibe as we entered and that continued all night. The staff were absolutely AMAZING and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fabulous and we had a fantastic night. I would highly recommend a visit. Thanks everyone 😊👍🏽

The food, drinks, and service were absolutely amazing and we enjoyed ourselves so much, the only down side was the atmosphere. The place was absolutely packed with drinkers and our table was next to the bar so there was always people stood next to us talking loudly which made it hard to hear eachother and the music was so loud it made it even worse, we would come back but maybe during the day when the atmosphere might suit us better.

Went into Exhibition after a racing recommendation from a friend, and it did not disappoint. From the amazing food range of vendors to classic twists on cocktails, I've not been able to beat it in Manchester. Vibe is one of a kind. Chatted to some of the lovely staff and fair to say I'll be coming back for their next 360 DJ night (and booking the morning off work in advance!!)

I’ve been to Exhibition many times now and it’s my favourite spot in Manchester. The service is unmatched and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was amazing, it comes out so quickly and every single dish from each of the restaurants was divine. Also, if you like cocktails you NEED to try every one on the list, honestly best food and drink in Manchester!! 20/10 highly recommended 🖤

Food was lovely but i had an absolutely abysmal amount of food. I am still starving after spending all of my money for no reason. Ordered garlic bread in hopes of satisfying my stomach but they could only afford to give half a slice of bread for 6 pounds an outrageous price

Over priced food and as we sat down at 5:45 was immediately rushed to order drinks by our host as we were sat at the table. We ordered a round, then when asked a bit later if we would like another it was shared that cocktails were £6 AFTER 6pm. Felt like we were taken advantage of for sitting down at 5:45 to be rushed into paying full price for drinks we could’ve waited 15mins to have the ‘happy hour’ pricing. What a shame. SUD was easily the most disappointing experience, as they were small plates of pasta for full price. The only plus side, was that our server was lovely. In short don’t go and we won’t be going back. Absolute rip off, we left hungry and had to get more food elsewhere. Don’t forget about the awfully loud music.

If you haven't been to Exhibition then you are missing out! The food is some of the best in Manchester...really imaginative menu and superbly executed. I went for lunch with a couple of friends on a Friday and everything we ordered was top notch. The highlight were the roast potatoes (honestly try them!) and the Galician steak. Perfectly cooked 1.2kg bone-in ribeye for £75...probably £40-50 cheaper than Hawksmoor and better quality. The only odd thing about this place is that it is really set up more as a bar than a restaurant. It's fine during the daytime but if you go for dinner then book an early table...otherwise you will be sitting in the middle of a club by the time you have desert!

The perfect meal, we had two dishes from each restaurant vendor and not a single dish disappointed. One of the best meals out in a long time and reasonably priced.

Amazing food variety from their 3 kitchens (spanish, Italian and Scandinavian). It's like a food court with a nice bar. Each kitchen has its own menu but you can mix from the 3 menus. Most of the menu is tapas style so it is great for sharing. Everything we tried was very tasty. It is located in a beautiful building right in the town center.

Amazing experience, Iv eaten at all three restaurants separately and what a line up they have chosen. To be able to order from all three is class, everything felt premium, service was fast and casual which makes you feel comfortable, the food was perfect and the cocktails were spot on. Zero complaints 10/10

What a place. There are a number of multiple food vendor style places in Manchester now, all of the ones I have been to have been really good, but this one is separated from the rest in how they have done it. The staff were all really friendly and knew their stuff, the location is really good and the food was unreal. There were 4 of us and chose a lot of things from all vendors and it was all amazing. We then had dessert and a cocktail to finish. I had the Black Martini which was amazing. It’s a bit pricier than others but I think totally worth it. I will be going back.

Why go anywhere else in Manchester?

A short but tasty cocktail menu, decent wine list, slick & friendly service and very tasty food. Fair price. We'll worth a visit. Hope to return

I was recommended their sister restaurant Sur in the north of Manchester, but decided to try this new location - and I'm very glad I did. It felt energetic as soon as I walked through the door, with a DJ in the middle of the room, three food market stalls around the main seating on the right, and a large bar on the left. The welcome was immediate and warm, and I was very quickly escorted round to a group of more intimate tables in the corner facing the bar, which suited me perfectly. From there, I could watch the world go by, and I didn't feel awkward about eating on my own (I was in Manchester for one night for business). I was given a menu - three different themes, matching the three food market kitchens I had seen when I entered: one Scandinavian, one Basque, and one Italian. There's a good selection on each - you can order across menus (Scandi starter, Basque main etc) but I was in the mood for Italian, so ordered from the Sur menu. Drinks order was quickly taken - a carafe of Northern Macedonian white, which was excellent - and a bottle of clear fresh water added to my table, with a glass poured for me. I asked for some help to order, and Sophie - who waited on my table and was fantastic all night - helped by discussing options. We settled on the orecchietti with house sugo for main, with the fennel & radicchio orange salad as a side, and the rosemary & garlic sourdough bread. I have to say, writing this two days later, my mouth is still watering - the salad and bread came out first, and the two flavours worked so deliciously together, I could have eaten that all night! Aside: a lot of reviews mention the saltiness of the food. I loved the full flavours, but they are strong and the salt in the bread draws out the sweet and sour taste from the dressing on the salad. The orecchietti felt almost bland after the taste assault of the bread and salad, but actually it went really nicely with the wine. I decided, after a discussion with my partner in crime Sophie, to have the tiramisu dessert (frequently recommended) along with an espresso martini. I usually steer clear of strong coffee in the evening, but this combination was exquisite. I loved the thick coffee texture of the cocktail, and the tiramisu is split into its constituent parts so you can choose to combine them as you wish - biscuit, mascarpone and alcoholic sauce. Delicious. I honestly had a real treat here, and I'd love to come back and try the other menus. The atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Exhibition has a lovely atmosphere and staff, but was let down by the food. The three kitchen concept is a neat idea but the small plates that came out were disappointing. Ox meat empanadas that were so small they tasted solely of pastry and tiny crab buñuelos lacking in flavour. Sud pasta kitchen was disappointing too, usually a favourite of ours, the dishes that came out were lacking compared to their Ancoats showing. The cheese and kimchi croquettes from the Asian kitchen were nice though. Worth a try but keep expectations in check.

Mixed emotions about Exhibition MCR. At first glance, the restaurant's gastronomic proposal struck me as bold yet daring. The execution in combining three different cuisines into a single menu, I must say, was competent and precise. I opted for three dishes: the Calamarata allo scoglio, Idiazabal cheese, and Padrón peppers. The Calamarata allo scoglio was excellent, with a superb selection of seafood and perfectly crafted pasta. Idiazabal cheese met expectations. However, I can assert with some certainty that the Padrón peppers were not the original Galician ones, as the genuine Padrón peppers are smaller and have the unique quality of being spicy for some and not for others, a characteristic these did not exhibit. Although I must add that these peppers were by no means bad. While most of the issues were related to the service, I will attempt to provide a fair and constructive review. It is true that the waitress who served us during dinner was competent and pleasant, but there are a couple of key details that a good restaurant cannot afford to overlook. I understand that by making a reservation, you reserve the right to charge £10 per diner in case of a no-show. However, what is unacceptable is that, with such a policy in place, the customer is made to wait for 20 minutes in the restaurant's foyer until a table becomes available. It is not professional. It is your responsibility to have the table ready at the agreed-upon time. The second issue was that, upon finishing our dinner (just minutes before 10:00 PM), a waiter denied us the opportunity to order dessert, citing the kitchen's closure. I find this to be a lack of respect, especially toward customers who began their meal 20 minutes late due to a delay caused by the restaurant. Desserts are pre-prepared dishes that do not require extensive preparation, and the least they could have done was to offer us the dessert menu. The last issue was the deafening music. I believe that, for a restaurant, the music was ear-piercing. I loved the ambiance of the place, but the music was neither suitable for the occasion nor was the volume reasonable. It suites the bar but not the restaurant, so the reasonable thing is to wait until everyone has finished dinning to start with the DJ. I conclude the review with a message. It's a restaurant with great potential that gets lost in the details.

Really wanted to enjoy the food here but unfortunately, the dishes were either greasy, bland, over-salted or had the smallest portion. The meatballs and arancini looked very appetising but were both heavily salted, and the iberico jamon was really warm and oily which wasn't very enjoyable. The only decent dish were the crispy new potatoes. The staff were very efficient despite havjng to shout our orders to them and the food came out quite quickly. The music was really loud and it was quite dark where we were eating by the windows. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

On arrival we were seated at large table at the back of the restaurant. Trying to discuss our order under 4 large speakers was a struggle. Then only to find that most dishes have sold out. Struggling still to hear what they did not have in...easier if they just told us what they had available on the menu on a Sunday evening. Food came but dribks still failed to show. What service we had was excellent but being at the back of the restaurant drowning in beats from the 4 speaker we couldn't quite wave at passing service. The surf and turf was excellent and did make a difference to the evening!

Service was fab-could not/would not fault it. Food was lovely -anchovies, pasta sugo, hummus, croquettes and sourdough. Please though, could you bring bread before/with everything else-and have more plain bread available as an option? Not very busy which is hard to understand unless everyone is staying away because of hideous Tory conference. We throughly enjoyed our visit and will be happy to come again. Thanks.

Night out with friends, went on Wednesday to the Habitat event and Kompnd on Saturday - great night, amazing food, fun atmosphere- doormen were friendly and welcoming made all our group feel at ease- thanks guys will be back soon!!

Such a great vibe with excellent food options and cocktails - perfect date night spot. We got a bit from each food vendor. Don't miss out of the sud orichiette ragu, or some of the grilled meats from baratxuri.

Brilliant service and food. Located in the old natural history museum , three choices of kitchens for food. The seating is a mixture of booths and benches. Overall nice modern vibe with open kitchens. Huge selection of food for tapas style sharing or larger mains. The seafood we ordered was delicious soft shell crabs and the prawns were sinfully juicy! Also ate the house sugo pasta , again packed with flavor and delight. Staff were very attentive with water brought to us without asking. Eager to return to try out the other dishes next time I'm back in Manchester.

Started off not great as we had to wait about 25 mins for our table. Felt a little bit like they get you in so that you buy am expensive drink at the bar before eventually seating you. We did get a glass of Prosecco as an apology after being seated but tbh would have preferred to be seated immediately, or have the drinks we bought at the bar for free. Anyway... when eventually seated, all was great! Love the different kitchens on offer and the fact you order through the waitstaff (we weren't sure how that would work!). Drinks were good and food was fantastic. It was a Friday evening so the music was loud but we enjoyed the atmosphere. All of the staff were super friendly, including the bouncers. Will return!

This place never lets you down, we were celebrating 2 birthdays, I will say this the experience is different, with lots of new Booze, new Food to get used too. But everything is fantastic, great cocktails, premium beers, and an original selection of wines. Now the food “Best Broccoli Dish” seriously you have to try it, plenty to choose from and priced for quality, but not expensive. The new pasta kitchen do an amazing 8 hour shin beef ragu spicy and warming perfect for these autumn / winter nights.

We went for dinner here this evening and Sam and Sophie were our servers, incredible food and wine and incredible service by Sam and Sophie who recommended incredible dishes and provided the most attentive service. Five stars

This was our second visit and we will definitely be back soon. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was friendly, helpful and informative. We had visitors from Australia with us and they were knocked out by the quality of the experience of eating at Exhibition.

We probably over ordered however everything we ate was amazing. We had Txuleton (sharing steak) it is pretty big and could easily be shared by 3 or 4 people. Focaccia, crispy cod, arancini, tenderstem broccoli, vodka pasta. We ordered margaritas to drink and they were just right, not too strong or too sweet. If you’re eating later on, be mindful that people do come in for drinks and can be standing around whilst you eat.

A great venue, fantastic service and wonderful food from all 3 kitchens. We will be back!

The food was top notch, but it seemed expensive for what you get.

Great Saturday night in town, booked a booth for cocktails in the bar area, staff very attentive and well made drinks. Moved on to a booth in the dining area, chose a range of food from both menus, highlights from the Basque menu were Iberico Jamon, Bilbao style fried fish and Txuleton steak. From Osma the Asparagus was a revelation and the crispy potatoes delicious. Overall the experience was very enjoyable with brilliant service. We will be back.

Great food and really friendly service make Exhibition a lovely space to spend the evening.

The cod from the Basque chefs was the most perfectly cooked fish I have had in England. Note that the samphire is naturally salty, so don't whinge about that. I agree that the music is too loud for dining and they should keep it down until about 9.00. You don't need thumping house while eating high quality food.

I do not usually make bad reviews but we had such a strange experience at Exhibition today, it’s sold as a upmarket food hall style experience but it just felt like a bar that also did food, which is fine, but it just meant there was super loud music. The menu was very small, which is also fine but it’s about 80% fish dishes, so keep that in mind, and even what doesn’t seem like it has fish, like lamb empanadas, came with sardines on top. The food was also SO SALTY, maybe it was a bad day but we ordered 5 dishes, some from each restaurant and it was all crazy salty, not something I’ve ever had an issue with in general. On the positive the service was good and the food came super quickly, but it just sucks the food and atmosphere was a let down. Prices were fine, about £10 per small plate, we paid around £50 for two people and no alcohol. Seems like a cool place so maybe we just need to try it on a weekday, and really study the menu for all the ingredients; but this time, pretty disappointed I gotta say.

We celebrated a birthday at Exhibition in Manchester and it was an absolute treat! We enjoyed a bottle of champagne before our lunch booking, which added a touch of decadence to the occasion. The space at Exhibition was impressively cool, creating a chic and stylish ambiance. The staff at Exhibition were fantastic - friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. The bottle of Laurent-Perrier we had was excellent, perfectly complementing the celebratory atmosphere. It was a wonderful choice for the occasion. After such a delightful experience, we are already looking forward to returning to Exhibition to try their food offerings. With such a wonderful setting, attentive staff, and a great selection of drinks, we are confident that the dining experience will be just as fantastic. In conclusion, Exhibition provided a memorable and enjoyable experience for our special celebration. With a delightful bottle of champagne, a cool and chic ambiance, and friendly staff, it’s a place we can’t wait to visit again for a full dining experience. Highly recommended!

Overall a good experience at Exhibition. It's a good concept with 3 different independent kitchen although Onda are moving on at the end of July. It was really nice being able to select a variety of small plates and all over them were of a pretty good standard. I would definitely recommend the Cauliflower Karaage (Osma), Tagliarini Pomodoro (if you get to go before Onda leave), Crispy New Potatoes (Osma) and the Marinated Crispy Chicken (Osma) The service was friendly and once we had ordered the food came out promptly.

It's like a afternoon tea.... The dishes come and you think "is that it?!" But by the end you are full and your tastes buds are dancing.
