Possibly the best vibe for food, music and cocktails. Some award winning kitchens operate out of here, the staff are amazing and we love coming down. 11/10

Vile food. You are looking for somewhere different to go in Manchester…this isn’t it .Just a mish mash of odd flavors. Just confused. £106 for two and still hungry

Monkey's fourth visit here now. Exhibition is quite possibly at the top of his list of Manchester's (increasingly appealing) eateries. A short but tasty cocktail menu, decent wine list, slick & friendly service and very tasty food. Fair price. Well worth a visit. We'll return

A lot of interesting dishes to chose from. Perfect for sharing. The cocktails were amazing and nothing to put a finger on. The service was lighthearted and interested in guiding us as tourists. We went a Friday evening at 6pm not at all busy and we were able to stay at our table for longer than what we booked. Would highly recommend.

10/10 recommend this place! Such a cool vibe. A few different restaurant with one common area. The menu changes often so the diversity of the food is so nice. It was one of my favourite restaurant in Manchester.

We had a brilliant experience for my partners birthday. The staff were friendly and made great suggestions on food and cocktails, the food itself was delicious and the whole vibe of the place was great. We'll be back.

We stumbled upon this gem of a place,when pursued by an unwanted person who presisted in following us necessitating that we took shelter inside. The security personnel took immediate control of the situation in a very professional way and resolved the situation promptly for us. They made us feel very protected and safe from a potentially escalating situation. Would also like to add that while we were there,the bar staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to relax and enjoy the fantastic music and beat of the saxophonist and drummer who were performing there. Would certainly return to this venue again,this time in a planned way!

Have just had a largely pleasant lunch at Exhibition until the £24 whole sea bass arrived at the very end of the meal. Whilst deboning, it was apparent that a good 40% of the fish was so raw that it could not be removed from the bone. I politely pointed this out to the staff, who, having taken the fish away, returned with the same dish and told me that it was intentionally pinker nearer the bone and that it ‘wouldn’t kill me’. This fish wasn’t just pink, it was raw and had had the outside of it cooked on charcoal . It may not have killed me, and I have eaten plenty of sea bass sushi and sashimi, but I did not fancy warmed through, raw sea bass, (even if I could have got it off the bone,) and unfortunately neither did any of the other five people that I was with. I didn’t make a fuss as it was my friends birthday, but felt this was handled really badly by both staff and the chef at Baratxuri and was very disappointed, as it ultimately spoilt what was a very pleasant afternoon.

La comida y las bebidas eran geniales la música no a todo volumen, fuimos temprano para evitar el DJ, (estos días han quedado atrás ahora). Muy recomendable.

Love it here. Been loads. Quality and choice of food never lets you down. It can get a bit noisy as it gets later which isn’t to my taste, but since we eat early - it’s great for me.

A wonderful space with great service, we recently went there when OSMA was serving their Easter lunch, it was absolutely fantastic. They are always a delight, their menu always changes, and is full of fresh produce, sharp cooking and brilliant ideas. I couldn't recommend them more.

Unbelievable food, exceptional concept and quality service from Lily! We’ll be back for sure!

Visité Exposición con amigos este fin de semana como parte de mis celebraciones número 30 y todos comentamos que tuvimos una muy buena noche. He estado un par de veces ahora y es una buena apuesta que Exposición será una buena vibra en un fin de semana - siempre está ocupado y tienen un buen DJ, así que hace un gran ambiente; un lugar ideal para mesas y grupos más grandes. Disfrutamos de toda la comida que pedimos, pero nos pareció que las porciones eran un poco golpe y falta. Pensados para compartir platos, sentimos que algunos podrían haber sido más grandes (singular gyoza crujiente, por ejemplo, difícil de compartir) pero eso no quita ingredientes de calidad y comida sabrosa. Como digo, hemos estado en la Exposición un par de veces ahora y sentimos que esta es la mejor iteración de su menú hasta la fecha - recomendaríamos el pollo Cornflake, atún Sashimi, bistec Bavette, gambas reales y pimientos padrones. Como era una celebración de cumpleaños, el personal muy amablemente trajo una tarjeta de cumpleaños y una copa de prosecco de cortesía que fue un toque encantador - gracias. Tuvimos un retraso considerable en algunos de nuestros pedidos de bebidas, pero el personal los retiró proactivamente de la factura tan rápidamente rectificado sin problemas. Otra gran noche en la Exposición - sin duda volveremos.

Excellent menu, great service and attentive. We went twice in one day.

Came here on a whim, not reserved but managed to get a table although I think we got lucky! The food here is great - one of the resident kitchens I have visited the actual restaurant (Another Hand) and it was great to see another take on what they do alongside 2 other residency kitchens. The best way to describe this place was an incredibly fancy food hall with inventive food, delicious cocktails and great service. The prices are good for the food you receive, although go with the understanding you are also paying for the craft of the food! Edit: Love this place and come semi-regularly now but we came twice during January for the 25% off offer - only to see on the second visit the offer had been reduced to one restaurant only with no info of this given prior which ended up with a unexpectedly suitably large bill.

We went to exhibition to celebrate my birthday and were left quite disappointed with the experience. We tried plates from all different kitchens and found the actual meats themselves didn’t have any flavour, and all of the flavour that it did have came from the sauces on the side? The lobster sliders tasted like frozen prawns and only had taste from the sauce, and the steak and lamb were both extremely dry and bland unless lathered in the sauce it came with. The restaurant was packed to the point where you couldn’t move around the bar area, and the cocktails were strong to the point where all you could taste was alcohol. I have been here before and loved it, which is why I was so dissapointed with it this time. The man who served us was lovely however, and they did put a little card on the table which was a nice touch

Food was phenomenal, vibe was immaculate. The space is so warm and welcoming but the highlight was our service from Olly G, incredibly genuine and friendly me and my partner had a lovely time. Highly recommend coming here to absolutely anyone, you're guaranteed a lovely time.

The food and atmosphere were great. Some dishes could have been smaller as the menu was so good that you wanted to try so much more than you could handle. The food also came a bit quickly so you got full quickly and didn't have room for dessert.

SO GOOD. Such a fantastic array of interesting and delicious small plates. I would definitely recommend it and will definitely return!

La comida era preciosa, pero el ritmo de la comida horrible. Éramos una partida de 4 , elegimos 5 de los platos pequeños, 4 medianos, 3 grandes, un lado. El menú está estructurado en grupos pequeños/medianos/grandes/laterales si quieres fijar el precio de tu comida. Después de tener desiertos esta fue la cantidad justa de comida para nosotros. Los platos fuertes incluyen: - una terrina de patata perfectamente blanda con mermelada de nduja pegajosa - Filete de bavette con un poco de carbón y rica salsa de mantequilla -Gambas reales en una salsa de curry rojo tailandés que podría beber como una sopa - Patatas nuevas crujientes que reconocimos del menú Osma, y solo tuvimos que pedir de nuevo. Es una pena que no vengan en un cubo. Sin embargo, la decepción fue la rapidez con la que todo salió bien, y la forma en que salió junto. Cuando comimos previamente en Osma, el chef envió el pedido en aproximadamente 4 lotes, lo que le permitió procesar las delicias que se le presentaron antes de que llegara el siguiente lote. Sin embargo, en la Exposición no hay tal ritmo y todo llegó en una ventana muy frenética de 10 minutos... y eso incluye todos los platos pequeños, medianos y grandes juntos, ¡no se deje engañar pensando que platos 'pequeños' significan el comienzo! Las mesas no son lo suficientemente grandes para todos los platos que llegaron y nos sentimos apresurados (y un poco estresados! ) para sacar la comida de los platos pequeños y comidos a un ritmo de nots que no nos permitió disfrutar plenamente de la comida. La exposición se beneficiaría de un chef 'jefe' vigilando las tres restricciones para garantizar una experiencia gastronómica oportuna. Los servidores eran muy amables y serviciales, y en general el ambiente muy moderno y agradable. Sin embargo, a pesar de todas las prisas, no nos apresuraremos a regresar.

Came for a work leaving do, great atmosphere! Doorman were very friendly and made the experience all the better. Music was fantastic, especially the saxophone 🎷

Just amazing. Don’t hesitate, just come here. The food is incredible, service so attentive without being overbearing and it’s so reasonably priced too. Can’t recommend enough.

Our server Mathew was excellent. From the moment we sat down he looked after us. We had cocktails in our hand while we looked at the menu. He made some great food recommendations and checked on us and made sure we always had a drink. The food was unreal and great vibes. Even though it was really busy Mathew was always smiling and attentive. He really made us all want to come back. He couldn’t have done more for us. Thanks for a great night

What a spectacular establishment. Exhibition has some of the finest food in Manchester of the highest quality. Highlight for us was Baratxurri however the whole menu is extensive and of the highest calibre. Beautiful building and luxurious interior making it feel like a very special environment. All staff are friendly, professional, helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Lily for looking after us so well. Very generous complimentary drinks to make our 10 year anniversary even more special. Would thoroughly recommend and look forward to returning as often as possible

Immaculate and personable service from Lara. Both professional and friendly I felt very at home in a high end venue, at which I initially may have felt a separation between customer and bar. Additionally, the menu was both extensive and explorative whilst maintaining a loyalty to the classics that any cocktail enthusiast seeks. I would especially recommend the Ikebana Sour. 5 Stars. Thank you for the delectable drinks and the kind service.

Great evening had with wonderful food. Served by the lovely Lily who gave us brilliant advice on what to order. The porchetta was delicious. Would definitely re-visit.

Excellent food! Really interesting experience across the offers from the kitchens. Our server, Lily was excellent. I have an allergy and she was great about explaining what I should avoid and instructing the kitchens.

All I will say is that it’s not very often that I spend in Manchester anymore. But when I do I go to exibition. The staff make me feel like family. The door staff take care of me every time. It’s the only reason I come back every month. Thanks a million Mr T - See you soon xx

Insane food. Insane cocktails. Insane atmosphere. The bread from Jaan was an absolute highlight. Had the basque cocktail, another absolute showstopper. Service was attentive without being invasive. Drinks perfectly paired to the food offerings. Comfy booth seating to spend an afternoon of indulgence. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot. Looking forward to heading back to sample the weekend DJ events.

Primera visita para probar la comida. Los menús parecían tener una buena selección entre ellos, aperitivo, carne, pescado en los 3 . Esencialmente esto es un cruce entre una sala de comidas de servicio de mesa y un restaurante de tapas donde los artículos simplemente aparecen. Conseguí una selección decente y algunos artículos parecen desequilibrados entre los diferentes lugares, por ejemplo, un aperitivo de cordero a 1 era una buena porción vs empanada de ternera como principal que era abrumador. Algunos buenos sabores fueron probados y no tímidos en el ajo, así que ten cuidado. 1 de los postres era pobre y retirado de la factura. Si bien no me sorprendió fue un almuerzo decente, posiblemente un 3 si era el precio total.

Went in on Friday evening with 5 friends which were visiting, had 14 dishes between us all to share which was the perfect amount with a few cocktails and everything from the service from our lovely waitress Lily, the food, the music, and the drinks was absolutely perfect Would absolutely recommend as one of the best places in Manchester for a good drink and some scran!

What can I say. Food amazing. Drinks delightful. Service from Matt and Lily was out of this world. To say it was a busy Friday night I couldn’t have asked for more!

Qué noche tan increíble. Yo estaba aquí por mi cumpleaños con algunos amigos y solo quería dejar una crítica sobre lo brillante que era el servicio! Clodagh mantuvo nuestras bebidas recargadas y se tomó el tiempo para tener una charla e incluso recomendarnos lugares después de la comida. La exposición incluso fue más allá con los toques personales, dándome la tarjeta de cumpleaños más dulce y haciéndonos sentir extra especiales. First time coming to exhibition to watch Derrick Carter. Travelled up from London and i honestly can't believe how lovely the doormen were. Met T and Jay and they were both so welcoming. I came on my own and I've honestly never met security as accomodating and as supportive as these guys. Really highlights how great Manchester is

Had the hash browns from Osman and the hake from Baratxuri. Hash browns were great although maybe quite expensive for what they were. Hake was alright but very fishy so maybe not that fresh. Was a small portion for £15. Cool atmosphere with live DJ.

Food and drinks AMAZING love the concept of the place, the cocktails were so unique and tasted great. An excellent place for dinner or a night out. Be careful because they stop serving food at 9pm but they allow reservations to be made till 8:45. However service was very quick and they catered to my allergies. The ONLY downside was they have an in-house DJ and the music was so loud I couldn’t have a proper conversation with the person I was with. More of a nightclub bar scene than a nice quiet evening. Still an amazing atmosphere though if that’s what you’re looking for.

Been a long time regular in this venue and I can honesty say it is one of my favourite venues in Manchester. From Mr T on the door to Eddie, Adam, Corina and Tom on the bar and the food being exceptional it's always been an absolute delight and I can't wait to come back every time.

We had an amazing afternoon for my mum’s birthday, exquisite food and cocktails. Lovely staff! 3.5 hours spent very well!

Had a lovely time at Exhibition in the middle of the week. My husband and I weren’t sure what to do with our evening so we decided to check this place out and we’re very happy we did. Our server, Elsa, was absolutely brilliant; knew the menu inside and out and provided great recommendations, also came back incredibly regularly to see that we were satisfied. Will definitely be coming back :)

Really enjoyed coming here. Been for after work leaving drinks and was very impressed (more so with happy hour) so tried for food today. Lovely place nice food combos but thought it was a touch pricey for the amount (staff recommended 2-3 plates pp) Still enjoyable, nice and smart.

We had to cancel last minute as we had to take our baby into hospital. The restaurant were really accommodating with the deposit. We are very grateful during our time of distress.

Had dinner last night and it was fantastic! Food was outstanding and it was great to be able to order from each kitchen. All the food arrived in perfect sync, the drinks were delicious and service was slick and professional. Big shout out to Jake and Matt who took care of us - made the whole thing so easy! 10/10

Great range of dishes, all freshly prepared

Absolutely incredible meal here - my husband and I met up with an old friend and she’d booked a table for food at Exhibition; we’d only ever been here for drinks previously, but had always thought the menus looked great. We arrived early for a drink at the bar first; it was after 8pm on a Friday night and the vibes were impeccable - love their industrial decor with disco balls, mood lighting, great music. The wine list has clearly been really carefully curated - we shared a bottle of Champagne, then had an excellent bottle of Grüner Veltliner with the meal - and the cocktails were amazing, too. Make sure you have a go at their own version of Café Patron tequila… All the staff who looked after us were super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable; they talk you thorough the concept of the dishes coming from the separate guest kitchens, which is such a fun concept and means you can try loads of different flavours and cuisines - perfect for if you’re hanging out with people who have different preferences and dietaries, or for if you just fancy trying some new stuff. The kitchens when we visited were Osma, Baratxuri Bar, and Jaan - we were blown away by the sheer deliciousness and inventiveness of what we ate. I don’t often write reviews but honestly I need to rave about our meal, and I’m annoyed with myself for not eating here sooner! For me the standouts were: Osma - Panko lamb belly with sunflower seed houmous, harissa salsa and chive mayo Baratxuri - Iberico secreto with roasted jalapeño salsa verde, giant couscous and pomegranate (and their ridiculously good Manchego cheese bites) Jaan - Wood-fired house flatbread with butternut squash baba ganoush, coriander chutney, fried chickpeas The flow of the evening’s service was so smooth and effortless, with food coming out from each kitchens swiftly and steadily. Seriously, I’m so excited to come and eat here again - thanks to everyone for a great time!

Great night out. Somebody else was paying and so my litmus test is - would I pay for this out of my own pocket and the answer is yes! Here’s the minor caveat. The place is great for groups and people happy to shout at each other… the music is so loud that we all had trouble hearing each other at points. That said we are all middle aged, so perhaps if we were younger..? The food was all really tasty, the brioche with parfait was wonderful. The deep fried manchego was great. All very yummy.

This place is amazing. The food was delicious and every time we’ve been the staff have been so nice. Highly recommend for date night or larger groups. Loved it so much I went twice in one week.

Food was very averaged for the price we paid in terms of flavour. The vibe was fun and buzzing. Management wasn't the nicest about some of the issues we had with the food.

Staff were friendly and happy to discuss menu. We ate in the day and the atmosphere was relaxed and chilled.

I booked a table for my wedding anniversary and advised on booking that I have a nut allergy. When I was given the allergy menu, I was informed by the manager that there would be a ‘good chance of cross contamination’ in the kitchen. I explained that I had eaten there before and would select safe dishes. He spoke with the chefs and returned to our table to inform us that they did not ‘feel comfortable’ serving me. This has never happened to me in any restaurant and I eat out across Manchester/Cheshire multiple times a week. I think this calls into question the cleanliness and practices within the kitchens, and the training and professionalism of staff. I would also love to know the point of the ‘allergy’ menu, when they have this approach. My allergy is a health condition, and I feel they behaved in a discriminatory way, which left me embarrassed and upset - I did however find a restaurant round the corner who were more than happy to accommodate us and dealt with my allergy brilliantly. I wonder if a vegetarian/vegan would accept being told there is a ‘good chance of cross contamination’ with meat?? Such a poor way of dealing with the situation.

This place was terrific!! Love the concept of being able to eat across three different kitchens while it still being table service. The food was brilliant, really interesting flavours and good portion sizes. Service was very very good and staff really friendly. Ambience just so cool. We’ll be back! Thank you.

Portions are way too small for the prices

The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, a very nice casual style with great service. Tried lots of different food, from the three different menus which tasted great but slightly overpriced. Didn't find out that they don't take cash until the bill came which could have been a problem.
