Family day out, kids in the park and fancied fish&chips but told cash only, lots of posters to say cash is king etc- yet the cash point in their charges me to withdraw? How is that fair? They said its nothing to do with them but shops are paid to have a machine- if cash is so important Atleast opt for a free cash machine. Everyone left disappointed but I refuse to pay for cash and not practical to walk up to co-op with kids so we went elsewhere.

Purchased a child's meal £6.90 not many chips on a plastic plate and the smallest piece of fish nearly all batter, very expensive.

Great tasting chips, decent sized portions, and good value for money 👍🏻

Food is always freshly cooked and nice, but dont go if you are in any sort of a rush, it is so slow. Not the cheapest chippy either.

Easily the worst fish I have experienced. God only knows what they Did to it????? They managed to turn fish into a consistency I can describe as a dehydrated mulch. They should apply for worst fish and chips in the uk. They could well win it and it may drum up some curiosity trade. AWFUL is an understatement. Oh almost forgot the young girl who served us was lovely.

Yum .. unplanned visit to this lovely traditional fish and chip shop .. , delicious fish and chips , white flakes of cod wrapped in tasty crispy batter .. great chips too !Can’t wait to return

It was amazing staff friendly tables clean even had a toilet as well it was great food for what you pay for

First time and my last, £3.10 for a chip bap that had 20 chips if, that on it. They may of been nice but for that price and the quantity it really wasn’t worth it. While waiting I noticed the price of other items and it seemed very expensive.

overpriced,I,VE NEVER SEEN ANYWHERE THAT CHARGED 80P FOR A PICKLED ONION!,didnt get the sausage i ordered with my chips, and my wifes burger made her ill. AWFUL

Our 2 children wanted fish and chips for dinner so we thought we would try frydays. The woman serving us poured salt and vinegar on the food despite us saying that the kids don't like vinegar and salt. She did redo the food but we incredibly aggressive about it... I will remind you that we said we dont want salt and vinegar but she ignored us... We got home before opening the food... and it wasn't food.. the chips were raw, the fish was raw and the batter was literally dripping off the fish. It is lucky we decided to playe it up for the children otherwise they may have started eating it without realising it was uncooked "food". I have reported them to the food standards agency but I advise everyone to stay away from this group of monsters... Truly appalling. If I could give a 0 rating I would...

This is the best chip shop in Caernarfon. The fish and chips are yummy and they don’t cost that much. I always get my fish and chips from here. The fish is always cooked fresh and they do really good kids meals too. The staff are always friendly and they are always cheerful and happy to help. I always ask for llawer o halen a finegr (lots of salt and vinegar) and they always get it spot on. Love this shop, if I could, I would get fish and chips from here everyday!

Good food but it's extremely expensive for what it is.

If you’re looking for crispy batter and fresh fish to die for you will be disappointed. The fish was soaking wet with oil just like the undercooked chips. My dad just brought them in, he’s 84 love him and wanted to surprise us, I’ve just ordered dominoes for us instead. On the plus side he said the staff were lovely. Even the dog turned her nose up at it, sorry guys

Booked a table for 4 over a week in advance. We turned up 5 minutes before our allocated time to find the place all locked up. Despite there being lights on in.the upstairs rooms no one came to answer the door despite ringing the bell and knocking!!! We left a note through the door stating that we had in fact been to the place but still no one had the decency to ring with an explanation. We left our telephone number at the time of booking. Never have we experienced such treatment from anywhere in Anglesey and would.not advise anyone to go there. Incidentally we had travelled some 15 miles to get there!!!!
