I went Albany fish bar today for fish n chips I really impressed by their staff especially their manager MR WAQAS… all the staff members good… the bearded guy served me he has perfect customer skills… perfect portion of chips perfect fish… really worth of money best chippy in cardiff… giving 100% vote Thank u

Rang my order through and advised them that my daughter would be picking it up. Very friendly service, my daughter said they were lovely with her and the food was excellent! The cod was so white and flaky without a heavy greasy batter, the chips tasted good too. The plaice and scampi were nice aswel. Highly recommend.

Was on a away day in Cardiff but we stopped off in usk and this chippy was one of the best I’ve had gravy could have been thicker but that just me I love my gravy really thick but the food was beautiful

Absolute disgrace online it days its open and when I get there its not I've been here before and the food is amazing but fix your opening times

Fish (Haddock) was tasty and a good size, portions of chips just right, also, curry sauce (spicy version) good. I read some of the reviews here which complain about the size of portions. To be fair to Kibbys, there are never any overcooked hard ends of chips which we've found at other chip shops. We order in advance and drive to Kibbys from the Forest of Dean as we don't want our local standards, which are either overused fats or terrible fish which has no taste. Well done to Kibbys we say.

Absolutely rubbish chip shop. Service took ages and only two people in front of me. Fish cake was like mush, chips were soggy, and sausage in bayter was like it was cooked last month. The curry sauce was also like water , its was way too runny. This place has become a complete shambles . Don't waste tour time here

I have been ordering fish and chips almost weekly from this place for over a year even before the owner was changed. Fishes made by that male worker were NEVER CRISPY. This shop is walking distance from my house so I never complained, I pretty much eat anything when I am hungry. Until today I ordered 2 fishes, 1 portion of rice, 1 portion of chips, 1 portion of curry. The guy commented right in front of me that I am 'hard to please' after I requested to pack everything separately and then made a comment about how small the portion of rice he gave me (a SMALL cup of rice to go with cod!!). I have never had issues with the female workers, only had issues with this guy. He seems to always find excuses, go try challenge him yourself on the smallest thing, you will understand what I mean. He also recommended me a curry which he believed to be spicy but it was not spicy but sweet! C'mon now at least learn about the things you sell!!! Probably no one will care about this comment but I wont be returning to this shop until the actual owner has looked into this matter.

Gorgeous chips as always, and amazing prices, for those that moan about paying 2.30 for a bag of chips, don’t ever visit anglesey, you’ll have a heart attack This is literally the best chippy in town

There was something off about the mushy peas they tasted almost bitter and not up to their usual standard at all! Was disappointed tbh.

A nice place situated on a very busy shopping parade. Even though this place was surrounded by other food places, this small shop seemed to attract a lot of people. Very nice fish and chips, potion sizes were very good for the price. I would visit again!

Perfectly good pub food in a village pub but nothing special either ok if passing by but not ok to go extra mile for really but convenient to some lovely walks around the Bay Area

The fish and chips here are quite good, although not the best that you can find on Anglesey. The prices are fair and typical of most other fish and chip shops

I ordered 1 fish(my hand is bigger) 1 small chips(when they mean small,they MEAN small,iv'e had bigger starters) 1 large carton of curry(if that was LARGE i would hate to see the small cartons) and a jumbo sausage(which was a jumbo sausage) all that for £16.00......I would say it was worth about £6.00..........FINNS ALL THE WAY FROM NOW ON !!!!!

Fantastic food, chicken curry and chips amazing, I'm quite fussy with meat especially and was sceptical about trying the chicken curry but its delicious and real chicken!😅 Fantastic 10/10
