Absolutely awful jus bought large chips two battered sausages one normal sausage and two rissoles. What absolute rubbish if we hadn’t of took it home I would have come back for a refund… the chips were stale and woody and for a large the portion was wrong as literally not enough to get round 3 people - the battered sausages were chewy. Clearly Rossi’s have new owners but you definitely will run the name into the ground.

Tasty, gluten free fish and chips. Batter is dairy free too. Would highly recommend.

One of the best fish and chips I’ve had, staff went above and beyond with there service even going so far to explain to the quality difference that our cuts of cod (the shoulder) had. Overall il definetly come back, pricing was fine, customer service was above and beyond and actual food quality was outstanding

Nice food but tiny potions, order a large fish chips and jumbo sausage and tates good but the smallest potion of chips, quite disappointed

Rossi's has been a staple of Swansea fast food for a very long time, arguably built far too early considering how undeveloped the surrounding area was for decades. Rossi's is fast, convenient and access from the main A4067 and surrounding area is easy. I've never particularly rated Rossi's chips, you always feel like they could be better but never quite sure how. A little longer in the fryer, higher temp perhaps, a few degrees more in the storage bins, chips are a complicated business to get perfect and few chippies regularly nail it. Rossi's used to use powdered salt which just caked on top of the chips and ruined them but I'm glad they changed suppliers there. Fish is cooked fresh most of the time, and this is important. My regular visit is for a chip butty at lunchtime and this is where Rossi's do it right, they keep the buns wrapped and on the counter and thus at room temperature - other chippies put them in the fridge which chills the chips - nobody likes that. The food is reasonably priced and we sometimes enjoy sitting in too, the restaurant area has recently been revamped and is a pleasant place to grab some breakfast or lunch. Overall it's not the best chippy in the world, few are, but what it does do it does consistently well and I'm sure I'll be going there for many years to come.

The delivery time is like a moving goalpost. One reason I use this chippy is because it's the nearest and the delivery charge has always been 99p. I have not moved house, the chippy hasn't moved so why was I charged the full delivery charge of over £3. .I'm disabled which is why I sometimes use Just eat.

The.stagf.are so polite. The fish excellent and of course chips good.

Great gluten free choice food lovely Sophie was very good at explaining all the different gluten free that was available such a lovely girl every where very clean very impressed. Though all the staff were lovely and helpful

The nicest fish and chips ever! The chips were like home made and not soggy like some chip shop chips. The fish was large and cooked to perfection. Enjoy a sit down meal inside. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Staff are pleasant too .

Absolutely disgusting pie and chips I'm sorry to say! The pie wasn't cooked! raw pastry!and the chips were squashed and not fresh. Also the batter on the sausage is chewy not crispy. I'll be taking the pie back tomorrow. My meal wasn't cheap over £10 So disappointed. I've just been reading the reviews!! How can they still be getting it wrong. Took the food back They apologised and offered me a replacement meal.

They are the best chippy in the land, they know how to do a proper cheese burger!

Reasonable fish and chip shop, been a few times. Fresh, tasty, affordable. VERY busy on match days, so always check on a weekend before visiting as car and foot traffic can be lengthy. Good parking. No seating I could see...

Chipis were cold and hard and were not fresh

Amazing!! Nothing to complain about this place. The food is great, the manager is so professional and he makes the best food in town. The other staff were very friendly and polite as well. Definitely is a place that we will come back!!!

Quality has gone down hill alot. Chips very poor, very over priced there. Staff are rude abrupt and arrogant. Service is appalling, so much effort to serve you. Foreign of course think we are doing them a favour. Stopped going there No smile no eye contact full of Indians

Fish and Chips was plentiful and tasted lovely. The dessert 🍨 are in the freezer out front to choose from, Put into a glass dish with cream on.

Rossis... the place to go if you want under cooked chips & not peeled properly, where no one speaks English & there seems to be a severe shortage of salt & vinegar! Never again!

Driving out of Swansea looking for a quick meal we spotted this place with convenient parking. Prices were reasonable and the place was very clean and well presented. Both our mealed were freshly cooked and tasted great. We wish we had one near us ( 160 miles away ! )

Just been to Rossi’s, had the worst customer service experience!!! With the female cashier mocking me for not knowing how to order at the restaurant and the menu… then was told to wait for a specific cashier, instead of attending the available cashier.. which meant that I had to wait to be served and dealt with! I am disappointed and applaud by such a service having hearing such a great deal about the brand Rossi’s… disappointed!

It's a long time since I 've been there and won't be going back Chips were very pale and soggy and veggie burger thin and very little taste.definately not worth the £8.90. I bought them for my son and had to air fry them to make them (chips) slight brown,

Fish wasn't nice. Too much black skin like it hadn't been filleted properly and chips were very dry. Batter and curry sauce were nice and quick service

First time trying this chippy, never again, i ordered Battered sausage and chips, and the batter on the sausage was like a brick it broke the fork i was given to eat it with, some of the chips were not cooked and hard in the middle, the staff just make you feel like your bothering them ordering food so this is a place to avoid.

Food arrived quite quickly, still very hot. My cheeseburger was delicious, chips were OK but could have done with salt and vinegar

Very nice Gluten Free food. The Korma sauce was a very nice replacement for the chip shop curry sauce that wasn't gluten free. The chips were delicious and the fish cake was very nice. Quick stop off before the beach and was well worth it. Thank you 😊

Overpriced, old bland small portioned food, you need to pay extra for condiments(sauces), and next day you'll get a bad stomach. Only people with bad taste can tolerate this kind of chippy! Never going back!

Closing times inaccurate, turned up at 8.20pm on Sunday and they were just closing....don't close at 9. Hungry :(

I haven't been to Rossi's for some years, but I remember they had developed an almost cult following for their chips. It appears that has all gone. May 2024 and the quality is poor. I ordered chips and rissole to go, but when I got home the rissole had disintegrated and the chips were limp and dripping in oil. There is simply no reason for me to go here again. There are better chippys.

This place used to be my top choice for fish and chips. While the food quality remains good, I recently had two consecutive disappointing dine-in experiences. The staff, both women, were exceptionally rude, displaying an unwelcoming attitude and giving off a vibe of "why bring kids" kind of face. While personal preferences regarding children may vary, it's unprofessional to bring that attitude into a business setting. Despite this, the fish and chips are still among the finest in Swansea. However, I won't be returning to dine in anymore. I may consider ordering online if necessary.

Food was bland and expensive. You also have to pay to park in their carpark or risk a fine of £100 if you go over the free 30 minutes which is a disgrace. I will not be back.

Its the only chip shop does vegan chips and they absolutely beautiful!. I recommend them to all my vegan friends.

I usually really look forward to visiting this chip shop before I go to the match when my team visits Swansea. Although I got there early to avoid the queues, the fish had clearly been cooked for hours and hours before, and the chips were thin and very bitty, far from the standards I have come to expect over the years. Sorry to say, but next year I will look out a different chip shop.

Called in for a quick takeaway to eat before our journey home from visiting the area. Service with a smile it was not…made to feel like an inconvenience for ordering. Fish was awful and like it had been warmed up from yesterday. Chips…mostly soggy scrumps; I like scrumps but have never been served them soggy before…curry sauce like water. The only redeeming factor was the bread roll tasted like a bread roll.

Gone downhill. I've been a few times recently and it's hit or miss unfortunately. Fish is bland, chips portions vary, they are not consistent and they are not fresh at times. Shame. They've also got a new system to log your number plate, for what purpose is unclear. Toilets need a damn good clean. Disgusting and smelly.

Didn't want to hurt rossi sraff Feelings, but the cod was OK. But the batter was over chewy, overcrisped & rock hard on each end. Stabbed my gums, so we couldn't eat it. The Cod meat was barely filling and looked like it was farmed in a weight loss camp. So hardly any meat and then curled up each end. Chips was perfectly done. 5/5. If compare it to "youngs Cod brand" it tastes miles better compared to what we had. Now that's super filling fish meat and perfect batter that keeps it flat. Even the fish cake was lukewarm & tasteless..so added salt & vinegar to flavour it up. The place looked super clean, super cosy and welcoming. The staff are great there, kind & professional. So 5/5 for them. But overall the price is extortionate, in my opinion. £9 for Fish is super steep. To jump £6 to £9, nope. So won't be going back for cod & chips. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu.

Absolutely shocking experience today. First time we’ve been there for a while. Shocked to see we only had half an hour free parking when eating in. Ordered our food which took nearly 20mins to come. After advising this only gives us 10 minutes for us to eat our food, the women laughed and walked off. Considering it took a while to come the food was cold and not what we’ve used to! Never returning again

disappointed you can't give zero ratings, food was piss poor, and quite pricey for the quantity you get, a large chips from roma in Gorseinon feeds 2 of us with chips left over for 2nds, after I plated my chips from rossi's had to go and get more because there was no way that amount was feeding 2 of us, and the chips themselves were terrible, soggy and some were black will never return here again, reading the other reviews probably about time to get someone that can actually cook decent chips and fish

This chippy has gone from once the best chip shop to the worse ....fish was terrible chips same ....girl unable to understand what 1 fish and 2 portions of chips meant ....we went here again to try as it had been bad the time before, in the hopes that this time it would have improved but no....considering this was dinner time the food should have been fresh and at least edible for the expensive price charged ....If you want good value fish and chips I'd go to a different one as this has gone downhill sadly. Visitors to Swansea go somewhere else there are lots near by

Definitely not the best chippy, poor service. Staff forgot to bring items paid for. What was described as a large Cod and chips definitely wasn't.

Food was disgusting...not our first visit but thought we'd give them a second chance....soggy cold chips and some green ones ....they should never be eaten !! Green potatoes should never be used!!....fish was dry overcooked and goodness knows how long it had been there...more skin then fish and what batter there was,on the fish was terrible....this was a dinner time visit so should have been fresh....pies were OK but they're bought in so not down to Rossi's....the original owners would never serve this stuff!! Adding insult to injury the girl....who couldn't understand 2 lots of fish and chips...fish and chips twice or any other way of saying it...overcharged us...after paying well over the odds for this so called meal we found we were overcharged too!!! Even our dogs wouldn't eat the fish or chips and they love their food....enough said!! The original Rossi's was great but these owners need to sort it out......don't waste your money here... drive a little bit further there are better chip shops close by.

Always lovely fresh food but let down by the service from blonde girl on counter with terrible attitude problem. Would sack her before she costs you more business. Our branch uses you every Friday for dinner for all our employees….thanks to Blondie, we won’t be using you anymore. 👍🏻

A great visit all round and the only thing stopping a 5 star review is the fact the fish had the skin on and was over cooked, meaning the skin side was so chewy. I’ve just realised now

Waited almost 20 minutes for fish and chips around 4/5 o'clock, chips weren't cooked properly, fish was dry and cold, battered sausage was awful, as if somebody dipped it in the toilet and then gave it to me. Soggy, cold and not cooked. Curry sauce was okay but cold. 7 people behind the counter, all were standing around. Awful.
