The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Visited the restaurant for the first time to experience the tasting menu. The grounds are stunning and the restaurant itself had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and evening there. Compliments to the very talented chef, Graham, who I believe was doing a pop up restaurant.

We made a reservation online and showed up at night. Waiter was incredibly rude, insisting that he didn't have the reservation despite a confirmation email. After finally seating us, he remained extremely rude, refused to show us the wine menu and eventually we decided to leave. It's a real shame, we were quite looking forward to dinner.

Honestly think we were served by nicest waiter ever. Smiley and warm service. The service was super fast and food and drinks came so fast and everything was lovely. Even our dessert didn’t disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

Good sausage supper and curry sauce.

There is no one to greet you at the door to ask for a table for food so we had to go to the bar, which was quite busy and the bar tender had to prioritise the drinks over our table request, which meant a 15 minute or so wait just to be seated. However, after we got a table everything was great after that. Very tasty food, good prices and some nice cocktails and our server was attentive. The theme is very cool too and the decor is interesting.

Cafe review - organic coffee and tea. Nice cake display. Reasonably priced. Like the fact that some of the price goes to farmers in Sri Lanka.

Si pudiera puntuar nuestra experiencia en Platform con cero, lo haría. Un grupo de amigos y yo habíamos reservado una mesa con antelación para nuestra primera captura - juntos en casi un año! Plataforma había venido recomendado por uno de nosotros que había estado antes de covid y había disfrutado de los puestos de comida, pero para nuestra decepción, los puestos de comida ya no estaban, y el lugar se había sometido a una revisión completa. Cuando llegamos, nos acompañaron a una mesa alta y nos aseguraron que, a pesar de los cambios en el restaurante, la comida seguía siendo “calle - comida - como” y “realmente buena” – aquí es donde terminan nuestras cortesías. Nos dejaron completamente desatendidos durante 30 minutos. Molestamente, los intentos de tratar de llamar la atención de los servidores que pasan fueron ignorados resueltamente. En varias ocasiones, el personal evitó activamente nuestra mesa dando la vuelta a la parte trasera de la escalera que divide el restaurante en lugar de caminar a nuestro lado. El restaurante no estaba ocupado; solo había seis mesas ocupadas, incluyéndonos a nosotros, cuatro de las cuales ya tenían comida / platos esperando a ser despejados. Sin nada que hacer más que esperar, no pude evitar notar que había un terrier pequeño, como un perro sentado en otra mesa en el lado opuesto del restaurante de nosotros. Si bien no me gustan demasiado los perros en los restaurantes, lo que realmente me sorprendió fue que los dueños permitieron repetidamente que su perro se subiera a la mesa, algo que me pareció totalmente repugnante y que funcionó para reforzar mi opinión del restaurante, que ya estaba disminuyendo. Como era de esperar, el personal no hizo ningún comentario o intento de hacerle saber al dueño que el comportamiento de su perro no era apropiado. Parecería que ni siquiera un perro en una mesa era suficiente para llamar la atención de los servidores. A los 30 minutos, nos rendimos, tomamos nuestras chaquetas y procedimos a irnos. Solo entonces -al ver la migración masiva de una sola mesa hacia la salida- un servidor finalmente se acercó a nosotros para preguntarnos si todo estaba bien. Simplemente dijimos que habíamos estado esperando demasiado tiempo para que alguien tomara nuestro pedido. ¡Ni siquiera habíamos tenido la oportunidad de pedir bebidas y mucho menos comida! Al salir, vi a la mujer que nos había sentado -presumiblemente una gerente/líder del equipo- parada en el extremo más alejado del bar conversando con otro miembro del personal, que solo puedo asumir que era una gerente secundaria/líder del equipo en el turno. La segunda mujer se encontró conmigo, y simplemente meneé la cabeza desilusionada. ¿Su reacción? Para mirar hacia otro lado y seguir charlando. Servicio totalmente apetecible. Eso es cuatro clientes perdidos - uno de los cuales era un cliente que regresaba y que había recomendado activamente el establecimiento. Ahora, gracias a esta experiencia, son cuatro personas que no recomendarán Platform a nadie. ¡Qué pena!

Found eggshells in the Brownie! Glad didn't have kids with us.

Nuestra familia ha utilizado esta tienda de chips durante años y siempre ha sido la mejor. Ha sido comprado y ahora ha bajado colina abajo. No creas que volveremos. Las patatas fritas solían ser crujientes por fuera y esponjosas por dentro. Mi salchicha era como goma y la masa era extremadamente masticable. Tampoco muy cálido. Tan decepcionado.

Esta experiencia fue muy agradable. El servicio al cliente fue excelente y me sentí bienvenido en todo momento. La comida era muy buena y no tengo nada de qué quejarme. Encontré que el producto es muy bien valorado para una comida tan exquisita. ¡Bien hecho!

Fabulous fish and chips. Very friendly staff. And tge shop is immaculately clean. And decent prices Well done. Will definitely be back

Lovely west end location, with a relaxed, friendly ambience. Staff were fantastic. Delicious food - everything was amazing, crab cakes, oysters, fish, scallops (the butter sauce was so good!), calamari and the best octopus ever!! Highly recommend!!

I went for Mother’s Day on Sunday. The restaurant was cold. Menu was already limited as well as some of the options being unavailable. Waitresses were very polite and apologetic. The pate only had one small slice of bread and was not enough for the whole meal. The other food was inedible particularly the roast dinner. It was very tough and we had to leave it as we could not even chew the food. Manager was dismissive and argumentative at first saying they haven’t had a complaint about the particular item. We’re not usually one to complain but in this case something had to be said. They took £20 off the bill but we will not be returning and would not recommend to anybody.

two course meal the salmon and prawn cocktail was amazing, then the creamy cajun chicken taglatelle, everything was amazing, the breakfast the next morning was 100% couldn't fault it one bit was piping hot can't wait to come back

We ordered the food online, and when it came, I was disgusted to see the fish was soggy with very raw batter. The chips were undercooked and we found two flies in a portion of fish and chips. I will never ever order from there again, and I recommend to people in my opinion to find somewhere decent to eat as this this is like crap. I will be contacting trading standards regarding the standard of cooking and presentation. Stop give this one a miss
