The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Este era un lugar muy elegante. Bonito y ordenado lugar. Estaba muy ordenado y parecía muy profesional.

Visited the restaurant for the first time to experience the tasting menu. The grounds are stunning and the restaurant itself had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and evening there. Compliments to the very talented chef, Graham, who I believe was doing a pop up restaurant.

This review is for the Resturant side only. I have been coming to this place since it opened but never had an experience like this in my life. Before I continue just want to say the staff at the takeaway side are phenomenal and amazing. This review is only for the restaurant side. The male staff members attitude stank, when we arrived, wasn't happy to see us, spoke down to us, only reason I stayed and had a meal there was because my partner said I am just thinking that as I was thinking about leaving just as we sat down. Just as I put my fork down the same staff member comes running over and wants to take my plate away. Just finished pouring my tea and he sent the polite lady over with my bill. So during my meal I had to put my drink down and pay for my meal. Never happened at any other establishment in all my life. After paying my partner said to her do you want rid of us as we are still finishing our meal and the lady knew it was wrong. Other people were not treated like this in the restaurant as we waited to see how others were treated, which was clearly not the case. On leaving the restaurant my partner spoke very quietly to the male staff member and and asked who the manager was, he informed it was himself and my partner just pointed out the same points that I have put in the review. Basically he said if you not happy don't come back here. Racism is a very strong word and not to be used lightly, but on this occasion the first time ever I have experienced racial discrimination in glasgow and we both have lived here all our life's.

My partner and I visited Pescados last night and we really enjoyed the food. The seafood is delicious, fresh and well prepared. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed to be suffering some serious management issues in terms of staff. Our waiter seemed absolutely rushed off his feet, manically running around and trying to meet orders. We twice asked for a dessert that never came and in the end we just got the bill and left. I don't think it's the fault of the waiting staff, it seemed more poor decision making from higher up, perhaps not having enough people working on a Friday night. Either way it was a shame because the food is very nice.

Amazing food spot. Really affordable and cheap. Quality of fish and chips was amazing. Close to railway station. Must try.

Teléfono en un pedido de pescado con patatas fritas y salsa de curry para llevar a las 9 : 16 pm, llegué a las 9: 27 pm para recoger y pagar mi comida, había un gerente revisando recibos en su calculadora y ni siquiera levantó la cabeza ya que esperé allí durante unos minutos, uno de los empleados que esperaba me notó desde la parte trasera de la cocina y vino a preguntar si me estaban atendiendo, le dije que ya había hecho mi pedido por teléfono y ella entró en el armario caliente y sacó una bolsa con mi pedido, pagué £ 14. 40 y me lo llevé a casa, cuando abrí el fish and chips lo primero que noté fue que el pescado estaba demasiado cocido y la masa se había salido en su mayoría del pescado dando como resultado que el pescado se arrugara por dentro, la salsa de curry estaba como tibia y grumosa y las patatas fritas parecían que habían venido de 2 lotes diferentes, algunas eran frescas otras estaban secas como si hubieran estado en la bodega demasiado tiempo, si hubiera comprado esto media hora antes me lo habría devuelto pero cerraron a las 9 : 30 pm así que no voy a volver. Es una lástima porque solía ser un chippy bastante bueno, pero se ha ido drásticamente cuesta abajo.

Brilliant chip shop! Taken over last year by a lovely gent named Marco. He’s invested so much in the chip shop and it really shows. New editions to the menu like chicken (which is the best I’ve tasted!) and items from the award winning butcher next door. They now take card payments too. So welcoming to my autistic non speaking son who flaps with excitement at the knowledge he’s going for his dinner. Everything freshly prepared and at such a great price too. A real treat you don’t want to miss.

Lovely west end location, with a relaxed, friendly ambience. Staff were fantastic. Delicious food - everything was amazing, crab cakes, oysters, fish, scallops (the butter sauce was so good!), calamari and the best octopus ever!! Highly recommend!!

I went for Mother’s Day on Sunday. The restaurant was cold. Menu was already limited as well as some of the options being unavailable. Waitresses were very polite and apologetic. The pate only had one small slice of bread and was not enough for the whole meal. The other food was inedible particularly the roast dinner. It was very tough and we had to leave it as we could not even chew the food. Manager was dismissive and argumentative at first saying they haven’t had a complaint about the particular item. We’re not usually one to complain but in this case something had to be said. They took £20 off the bill but we will not be returning and would not recommend to anybody.

Lovely restaurant ,Afternoon tea was lovely , specially the lovely cup of soup was a nice touch,Staff really helpful, And a special mention to the lovely Norma for her service was amazing, The restaurant is so lovely also the grounds are stunning

We ordered the food online, and when it came, I was disgusted to see the fish was soggy with very raw batter. The chips were undercooked and we found two flies in a portion of fish and chips. I will never ever order from there again, and I recommend to people in my opinion to find somewhere decent to eat as this this is like crap. I will be contacting trading standards regarding the standard of cooking and presentation. Stop give this one a miss
