I went for Mother’s Day on Sunday. The restaurant was cold. Menu was already limited as well as some of the options being unavailable. Waitresses were very polite and apologetic. The pate only had one small slice of bread and was not enough for the whole meal. The other food was inedible particularly the roast dinner. It was very tough and we had to leave it as we could not even chew the food. Manager was dismissive and argumentative at first saying they haven’t had a complaint about the particular item. We’re not usually one to complain but in this case something had to be said. They took £20 off the bill but we will not be returning and would not recommend to anybody.

Our server was over familiar, she didn’t listen when I was asking a question about the dish I was ordering. As a result my dish didn’t have the extra side dish I would have ordered as the server stated it came with sauce. On receiving my meal I’d asked where my sauce was? It took a few minutes for the person who took my order to return to our table. The server pointed over to one of the guests in my party and stated they had sauce. I then pointed out It was my meal I’d asked questions about. The server was quite blunt asking “do you want sauce” By this point I was about 10 minutes into my dinner so said no because I didn’t want to wait any longer. My meal was getting cold and I felt the server was passive aggressive. think the staff require more front of house training in order to maximise the customer experience.

Just home from a beautiful tapas meal. We went for the mixed tapas, the chef decided what to cook once you order. If you’ve never tried tapas before, this is a great introduction, it was amazing! There were meatballs, mussels, mushrooms, spicy sausage, calamari and chicken to name a few. There was more than enough for 4 of us, and my parents who never had tapas before loved it! Can’t wait come to back!

Came here for a romantic meal, never been before, but read alot of reviews and wow it certainly did live upto standards. Food was famominal and the staff were so polite and friendly too, although very busy, we were never left unattended and made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended. Thank you.

This is the first review since last year of the Rabbit restaurant. Booked for a Sunday lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy in the top half but we asked to sit in the lower southern facing part of the room with superb views of the golf course & the Clyde. 3 of us chose the Roast Rump of Longhorn Beef, comprising of Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, greens & carrots together with gravy & horseradish. The food was just warm, the Yorkshires’ were in part burnt, and the roast potatoes were hard. With hindsight we should have sent it back to the kitchen, but it had taken quite a while to appear once the ordered was placed. Clearly it had been left ready for collection by the servers but probably delayed in appearing? There must be a method to keep dishes hot prior to delivery? Just why it was overcooked remains unexplained. One of us had the chicken dish which was fine, as were the desserts. The serving staff were pleasant & attentive. Overall disappointing due to lack of attention & coordination in the kitchen.

The owner of this restaurant, Dean Clark, has manged to run the business into the ground in a breathtakingly short space of time. He has had many disputes with local businesses, business partners and staff. He has routinely failed to pay suppliers and staff.
