Fish n chips fae here are great.

Excellent and perfectly cooked baked sea bass one night. A thicker fish in the fried fish (fish & chips) than any other I had in Scotland. Both types of fish were moist & not overcooked. Desserts outstanding. Cheese cake one night. Tiramisu another night. Their chocoolate ice cream had small bits of chocolate in it as per friend.

The experience was okay, but it didn’t quite hit the mark this time. Everything was there, but something just felt a bit off. Hoping for a stronger showing next time.

Very disappointing! Wish I’d seen reviews prior to visit. Went for friends birthday lunch. We ordered single fish and chips each with a cup of tea. She had 4 large bones (one was stuck in her top gum and had to go into the toilet to look in the mirror to pull out)! I also had a bone in mine. The fish was greasy and the chips not properly peeled so lots of black bits so could only eat some! Milk was not fresh but the small uht horrible plastic capsules; definitely NOT worth the £27. Reported to 2 staff and just said will let chef know. Clearly not interested in customer service or quality of service. Another odd thing was I wanted to pay £15 cash and the rest by card, the girl didn’t know how to do that. The guy took the £15 cash and told her to put £12 on the card….. later on checking my receipt, it said £12, not the £27? Was this all put through the till? No it clearly wasn’t so what’s happened to the £15 cash? Will never be back! Dodgy

We popped in here for dinner, having passed by so many times we thought we would give it ago and wete so glad we did. The portions were huge, the chips cooked to perfection and the pizza crunch was delicious. It was all freshly made in front of us so took a little longer than normal, the only issue we had was the woman serving didn't understand us and kept repeating our order and getting it wrong, she seemed confused to what a supper was but apart from that we would definitely return!

We had fish and chips, steak pie and a pizza. Used the £10 off voucher given to the holiday makers on the park, and it came to roughly £16. The chips were very good, fish was ok, a little greasy. Pie was ok as was the pizza. The pizzas in the clubhouse look better.

We ordered the food online, and when it came, I was disgusted to see the fish was soggy with very raw batter. The chips were undercooked and we found two flies in a portion of fish and chips. I will never ever order from there again, and I recommend to people in my opinion to find somewhere decent to eat as this this is like crap. I will be contacting trading standards regarding the standard of cooking and presentation. Stop give this one a miss

Hadn't been here for sometime and we were delighted to see how well it looked and the tables were well spaced out. The service and the food were very good. There were three of us and we all had fish and chips and the were great. Really good food at very reasonable prices. Will be returning.

The Food was very delicious. Don’t get me wrong but it’s a set menu and extremely expensive and not to everyone’s taste I’m afraid. Tins and bottles of lager and beer no bar as such. So if your thinking of going to chill at a bar think again.its a very al a cart menu . Friendly staff. I suggest you look at the menu on line before you go. I thought there was a blackboard with special dishes but I was completely wrong there isn’t. The 4 course menu is it . There was only two of us and I had only two drinks hubby had three drinks and the bill with the set menu was £200 pounds. So it’s a special occasion restaurant.

The fish supper and the sausage supper have been lovely keep it up I am going to try fish cake now. Waiting for a delivery. And also had the smoked sausage supper

We have had meals previously from La Padella and have had no complaints, but tonight my wife had a mini fish done in bread crumbs with chips, whilst I had a black pudding without chips, the fish and chips was nice and hot and was fresh cooked to order, but the black pudding was not hot and was dry and the batter was like rubber unedible. Obviously had been cooked awhile and had been left in the hot tray.

Great little restaurant with really good service . Food was excellent and waiter was very friendly. We would highly recommend dining at this gem of a place.

You’re going to walk in here and get hit with great banter, a lost art nowadays but picking up our takeaway this evening we were treated to great chat as well as a lovely meal. Would highly recommend
