Paid 8.50 for a mini sausage supper 1 sausage with a small box of chips, phone number isn’t even recognised

Just had homemade steak pie mash potatoes tub of turnip honestly bloody fabulous I cannt say more I absolutely rate this 💯 %

Chips were aweful and food was cold.

Very dissapointed in this restaurant, advertised as a seafood restaurant but despite checking menu before we went online the menu on offer on the saturday night had very little choice of seafood on it, food was served cold and the restaurant itself was so cold we had to put our jackets on. Photos advertising the food is not representative of what they serve up in house. Very expensive for what is was and no atmosphere at all.

Seems like this place has changed the name a few times. Ramo's is off the sign. Doesn't matter. We had delicious fish and chips,condiments,and sat along the canal and enjoyed our meal. Perfect, and 8 British pounds cheaper than others there.

Well I never……the chips as seen in pic were dry, overcooked, dark and shrivelled up. Been here frequently and I think this is the worst set of chips I’ve had. BUT……fritters and pizza were awesome!

Waited 10 minutes for this to be cooked fresh and it was burnt. No offer of a replacement or money back. Worst chippy ever !!

I cannot believe this fish was caught.. in my opinion it was SO old it gave itself up.. and being a 'special supper (one of two) I found the coating like a crust, the bland fish inside, 'followed by tasteless chips.. A certain Mr Ramsay could describe it more fluently, Disgraceful food, very nice decor, but it's only a plaster.. Should the owners have a problem with my review I'd be happy to return for a refund.. £24.80 BTW... 'Includes 2X tartare sauces'

Usually never have an issue here. The food quality seems to have come back up after the new management came in. However, earlier tonight we asked for two sausage suppers, which were fantastic, but we were charged £15. Didn't think of it at the time but checked the prices later online. Looks like we were charged for two fish suppers instead. I hope this was just a mistake and not someone pocketing the extra money. Edit: Having recently been round again and seeing that the price on the menu was correct I will say that was my bad on the pricing. Also the quality is still making me feel like I'm back in the 90s early 2000s.

I am 70 years old and a lifelong lover of Chinese food. Admittedly most of my meals have been throughout North America. I can say with confidence that I have never had worse Chinese food. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour, the Szechuan chicken was weirdly bland, the curry vegetables were a gelatinous mess, the fried rice was not like anything I have had before! This was a bizarre culinarily experience. Others who like/love the food here have got had much Chinese food. On the plus side…service was excellent, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress was pleasant and engaging..

Exceptional chip shop in the centre of Gullane that also offers pizzas and kebabs. We had fish and chips on our first night, they were to die for. All freshly cooked to order and very well priced. We also had pizza and calzone on another visit Again all freshly made and served by very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Not sure what had changed. But the last 2 visits have been terrible. The pepper sauce burger had zero. Nadda, nicks, ziltch no sauce what do ever!!!!!!!!!! Tasted like cardboard!!! Last time I bought a coleslaw salad and never received it, 2nd strike, and they are out. I am not going back. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! THIS IS BS

This used to do great food when I was last there years ago. Visiting the area again so thought I’d get some good fish n chips! It was terrible. Chips limp and not freshly cooked and dripping in grease. Fish was big, and cooked fresh, so should have been good, I’m afraid not, the fish was absolutely dripping in grease and all I could taste was grease. Really disappointed. Sad to say I won’t be back. Food was awful ! A waste of £18.
