Dali's Traditional Fish And Chips in Fife

Always good food and delivered promptly

2.5 hours after placing my order it still has not arrived. This was dinner for me and my son placed before 7pm, a Friday night treat, it's now 9.30pm and still no food. really disappointed.

not sure why the burger was still undercooked and pink when they were over an hour late...

Theres 2 cans of juice missing. I got the set meal 1, which is supposed to come with 2 cans of juice. Everything else has arrived though.

All the food was cold and the breads were soggy. Very unfortunate as all previous orders were as they should.

Was an online order which took 2 hours to be delivered fro 5 mins along the road. Pizza was cold. Not first time this has happened. If doing online order be prepared for a long long wait

Said it was delivered and never turned up.

I was so annoyed with how I was dealt with this evening. Told my food was 10mins away, called the restaurant and it hadn’t even been cooked. 2 hrs 20 mins for a pizza!! Ridiculous

I waited over an hour for a fish supper and kabab. I would have been waiting even longer if I hadn’t gone back to the counter to ask where my food was. I ordered online to avoid waiting around… the kabab was dry when I got home.

DONT ORDER!!! Ordered at 18:20 never arrived until 9pm food was not good at all ordered mixed kebab with chips came with no pita bread or salad just chicken and dried out doner on a soggy bed of chips.. first and last time I’ll order from here total waste of money

Shocking delivery time!!!! Still waiting for my order almost 2 hours later!! Says in the app it has been delivered this is after already pushing back the deliver time, called the restaurant and they didn’t seem to know much about my order, asked me what it was I had ordered and told me it will be ANOTHER 20 minutes!!

This food was lovely but they did not read the notes. Other than that perfect as it was delicious. Thank you

I order two 2 fish suppers for me and my son. The fish fryer and the server were doing something out of sight and did not put the fish in the top of the fryer. This raised my suspicions. When I got home there was only 1 and a half bits of fish in each box. The cost of a fish supper is dear enough without being cheated. What they don’t realise is by being so under handed they have now lost a regular customer who will now tell the other people in my estate what the tactics are. Nothing worse than being openly cheated.

I phoned in our order and went to pick up at the given time. I was greeted by one of the teenagers behind the counter that confirmed my order back to me. The two suppers were sitting packaged up in the warmer but I was told that the pizza was “just coming”. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes without any further update, so went and sat down. 25 minutes later I went back up to the counter and my order was sitting out ready. I was ignored for a further 5 minutes while they served people that had just walked through the door. I pushed my way to the front of the queue and got their attention, at last I had my lukewarm food. Absolutely no explanation or apology from any of the staff for my 30+ minute wait. Really poor service Food was pretty cold Very long wait for a pre order Will go to one of the other local restaurants next time.

portion sizes of the "large" kebabs weren't very big

Was told delivery time would be 6-6.35pm. Waited till 6.50 and contacted shop through just eat app. Then receive text saying will be 7.25 delivery time which was two hours after ordering when the shop is just along the village I live in. Had it delivered so wouldn’t have to drag kids out but would have been quicker going myself. No apology when it was delivered and food wasn’t exactly hot either but was edible.

Missing chicken nuggets... Only 4 in box and food cold. Ordered a few times from here and food usually been good and not too late for delivery. Ordered at 1850 and delivered at 2055!

Very late delivery and part of order was missing AGAIN. Food was not very hot either. No apology from delivery driver. After using Dalis on many occasions, and a few missing items I will not be using again, very disappointed

unfortunately this time they got my order wrong. but to there credit they sorted it very quickly and free of charge. this was only a one off and I'm very happy with them and there service. and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We ordered a large kebab, and there was hardly and meat on it. The scraps of meat we did get were cole, and we had to microwave it. The chips looked and tasted like yesterday's ones and were cold also. It's very embarrassing to recommend Dali's to our visiting family. £75+ on food = very disappointing. Made a complaint through Food Hub and Dali's wasn't interested. Won't use again and will tell others.

Food was around half an hour late from the furthest end of the estimated delivery window, and one of the pizzas entire topping had slid off the base and was stuck to the cardboard, making most of it inedible. We usually have a good experience here so super disappointed this time.

This is the fourth time an order has came to this house without its drinks. The driver also said he would return within five minutes with my drink but it is now 1230 and nothing. I want my money back or some sort of compensation this is getting unreal how consistently orders are missing items.

Long delivery time (was a Saturday night to be fair) but was around 1hr 40 mins from order to delivery.

disappointing. food and delivery is normally exceptional but this time 2x 16” pizza roughly 38 quid ruined by delivery driver who it would appear either carries pizza like a school satchel vertical or drives round corners like a nasa centrifuge astronaught test pilot. all toppings o both pizzas off to one half of the pizzas leaving the other half with no toppings. such a shame

Extremely good chip shop produce ... and their pizza, kebab, etc is very good/tasty. Their batter is always light and crisp ... possibly the best in this area. Overall, well worth the money in terms of quality and portion size.

First class chip shop food ... fried well in a tasty, crisp batter. Good chips (not greasy and not pre-cut frozen ones). Outstanding battered mushrooms - even the delivery driver commented on the delicious aroma. The lady who delivered the food was friendly/helpful/jovial - top marks to her for customer service.

On the road out of St Andrews. Very good! A variety of different foods was ordered for 6 adults. Fish, Sausage suppers, 12" Pizza, Chips & Cheese, Typical chip shop food, generous portions, and no complaints from anyone. The menu was extensive and varied. We would visit again.

Pre ordered for my break as I'm at work, food turns up late and cold and I only have 15 mins of break left. While I appreciate it's a Friday and gets busy don't take an order if you are unable to deliver on time.

Dali's provide top quality chip shop food ... well-cooked, very tasty and large portions. Usually delivered to St.Andrews within the hour, and still fresh/hot. Service is 7 days a week. I particularly like the white puddings - they taste great and are larger than those supplied by many other chip shops. I tried the battered mushrooms for the first time ... they were outstanding - large portion (box was overflowing), well-battered, crisp and very tasty. Will be ordering more of these in future.

2 hours + for delivery. Food lukewarm and no salt and vinegar. Poor as we’ve used the place loads. Delivery girl said she was only one delivering.. they need to Employ more staff! Customer service when phoning restaurant not good either as they stated I couldn’t get a refund as it left The shop.. over two hours. Almost 2.5 hours

I received completely the wrong food, I tried to alert the restaurant through Just Eat and have had no reply or acknowledgement. I requested a refund and have had no response.

Coming from Glasgow we have plenty of takeaways but I wish they would take note of dalis a fantastic place where the food is top notch we stay at the forest lodges so order from here The fish is delicious and huge the pizzas are great and the kebabs are fantastic the delivery is very quick and staff are pleasant

Always delivered with a smile, however I was disappointed tonight as I had ordered a white pudding supper but received a sausage supper which I don't like. This is the first time I have ever received the wrong order so it would not stop me from ordering again. Anyone can make a mistake.

The order was late the food was cold the lettuce was brown it wasn’t good at all.

Went into Dali's a couple times before this and the foods been really good. Unfortunately the delivery wasn't the best. Food had clearly been sitting a while. Garlic bread was cold and the pizza was tepid at best. I'll probably go back, but I'll defo be picking up from now on.

Prices are ridiculous! This has to be the most expensive chip shop in Fife. Fish suppers in fife can be bought for £7.40 with two pieces of fish. The fish is bought at the same market as everyone else. Why are Dalis fish suppers over £9.00 with only one piece of fish? Other just eat outlets are charging lower prices. The people in Guard Bridge are being ripped off. Do not even think about getting a smoked sausage as this has to be the smallest version possible.

Ordered a kebab n chips . Tasty but no bread or salad with kebab. Kebabs always have bread n salad . Pizza great n chips n curry tasty for others. But kebab and no bread or salad . However menu said kebab n chips but again as a kebab eater bread etc was a shame . But would order here again but just not kebab. Had fish n chips night before excellent .

I ordered for delivery, but it was put down as collection. By the time I noticed the food was an hour overdue. Waste of time and money

On 3 or more occasions food has been late & delivered warm/cold. I've let it slide, not tonight though I'm not paying near £19 for food that my 5 year old daughter wouldn't eat. Unacceptable & I definitely won't be ordering from here again.
