The Food was very delicious. Don’t get me wrong but it’s a set menu and extremely expensive and not to everyone’s taste I’m afraid. Tins and bottles of lager and beer no bar as such. So if your thinking of going to chill at a bar think again.its a very al a cart menu . Friendly staff. I suggest you look at the menu on line before you go. I thought there was a blackboard with special dishes but I was completely wrong there isn’t. The 4 course menu is it . There was only two of us and I had only two drinks hubby had three drinks and the bill with the set menu was £200 pounds. So it’s a special occasion restaurant.

Fabulous little restaurant in Loch Aline. 3 course dinner with an arouse bouche to start. The amouse bouche was rabbit - just delicious! The starters were a cauliflower mouse and a chicken/ bacon ravioli both freshly prepared - wonderful. We both had the pork loin for mains which was superb. For desert, we have to recommend the peach soufle - perfect in all respects!! Food, location and people just right! 😀

5 of us booked dinner here during a sailing trip, having much enjoyed visits under the previous management before lockdown. It was great to see the place reopened. The new management has understandably started with a more limited and less ambitious menu than was usual before, and from memory it is also charging less for a set menu than we usually ended up paying before, The space remains intimate and attractively decorated and the service was relaxed and professional. To start with there was a scallop mouse dusted with caramelised nuts which was delicious. The party enjoyed all the starters on offer and both the coley and the guineafowl were beautifully cooked with straightforward vegetable accompaniments. The deserts were also good, and the selection of wines was interesting. Altogether we really enjoyed our evening.

Prebooked dinner for 12 of us, 5 had the Sea Bass and all complained that it was unedible, 2 had the chicken with hagggis, no real problem apart from the plastic wrapping still on the plate. Starters where terrible, but by beef Pie was Ok. To be fair the bad meals where all removed from the bill, but not gong here again

Called in for tea whilst staying at Thurso Bay campsite. Cod, chips and curry were quite nice but 1/4 of the fish was rock hard and inedible. Battered sausage had very soggy batter. Portions quite small for £30. Had to wait quite a long time.

One of the best Indian Restaurants/ Takeaway in the North of Scotland Lovely Restaurant and Nice and Clean. Rice is nice and fluffy and their chicken Tikka Masala tastes so good. The chicken has a nice coconut flavour to it and the chicken really makes the dish. Not too spicy nice and mild. Staff Lovely and Friendly I highly recommend and will definitely be back best Indian up in the highlands.....and perfect for anyone with stomach issues as it won't upset your stomach and is enjoyable. Thank you so much for such a Lovely meal

Not cheap, but quality was fantastic. Ordered scampi, chips and a side of peas and lemon mayo. The mayo was pretty standard stuff, but everything else was lovely; good portions of everything. The ladies at the counter were lovely, chatty and helpful. The deli and fish counter looked brilliant, if we hadn't had a driver ahead of us, I would've gladly bought more. They had a small selection of local beers too.
