Fresh and Chips in Dundee City

Very pleasant and astute service that makes one feel valued as a customer and more importantly, beautiful fresh fish, haven't had better in years.

Had Fish & Chips /w Mushy Peas x3. Thought the batter was a bit thin, the prices above on the "view menu" doesn't reflect what you are charged, obviously out of date. They DON'T ACCEPT card payment.

Have been ordering Fish and Chips from here since it has opened and has consistently been spot on every single time. Wait times are maybe a little longer than others but with click and collect this is negated. The trade off for the wait times is the freshest, crispiest fish and chips you can buy. Would recommend over any fish and chip shop I’ve been to anywhere.

The best fish and chips in Dundee. Ordered for delivery and arrived on time. 4 Fish Suppers and some Potato Fritters. All nice and fresh and very tasty. Would 100% visit and recommend.

Hi me and my partner had fish and chips we had to wait for a hour but it was definitely worth it and mushy paes but they were small they could have been a bigger tub but they were good this is our first time ordering with yous will definitely order again as it was really good

Second time in a row I've had overcooked fish. Also find them quite ignorant apart from the guy who gives u the food. Why should I call your shop to talk about it when I didn't even get acknowledged when was in there in the first place. Before the last 2 times I only ever used yourselves as my chippy it was always 10/10 before that.

Order a takeaway ,fish supper no taste dry as anything .was like an edge on it had to peel away to bite it batter thin , chips dry no flavour first and last time

"So fresh, never stale... We the king of the fish and chips, we so real" Where do I begin, It was around 7:30 on Tuesday the 25th of April. I remember seeing the advert... "Soooo fresh...." Never stale I thought. I decide to gather the horde (my most trusted advisors) and set off on our most thrilling, grueling and longest adventure yet. We begin by walking past Abertay university. Through the hills, past Morgan Academy. Yea man. Only three times. The journey was long... 1 hour and 10 minutes... We had arrived, finally, our gullets would be filled and our minds would be satisfied... We walk towards the door, the feeling so familiar but so foreign at the same time... The entrance is open, we make haste to the counter of payment. Our order is placed... We await patiently.... Finally its here... We can rest easy knowing what fresh and chips tatses like... It was pretty good honestly. The pizza was good, the chips were amazing, but the fish... The fish was something else... They genuinely are the "king of fish and chips". "They so real" i thought to myself as we walked 1hr 10 minutes home. Would definitely travel the same amount time just to have the the delicious taste of fresh and chips sizzle all over my taste buds again. (They didn't have macaroni and cheese unfortunately and we were kind of disappointed because they said it was the "chefs grandmother's recipe" so we we're super excited about it) 4 yea mans out of 5 yea mans Yea man, only three times man Donkey shrek

Great food, everything is cooked fresh, they have lots of staff cooking the food, so you don't wait long. Best battered halloumi in Dundee.

The shop itself is immaculate which is always a must for me . Everything from ordering online to pick up was seamless. The fish supper was delicious & the halloumi bites were amazing. All freshly cooked & hot . Will definitely order from this place again .

The best chippy in the country let alone Dundee. I had the pleasure of working with the guys when they opened and they take great pride in delivering exceptional food. The standards they set are incredible and they work their socks off in that place and are a credit to their industry. The place is spotless and they source nothing but the very best ingredients out there. I know this for a fact. Love u guys

Has to be one of the best if not the best fish and chips in Dundee and I'm very lucky it's down the road from me. When you get the portion you think to yourself. Huh... That's not very much... Several times I've thought that... But!!! It's absolutely plenty! Anymore and it wouldn't be enjoyable. The fish is always fresh and never greasy. Fresh chips and fresh fish what more could you ask for!! And the price is so good for a fish supper. The only moan... Is delivery is 75 mins so if your hungry I would recommend an pick up option. Don't have much money at the moment so this is a real treat for me when I do order from here and everytime it's been brilliant. As you can see from last reviews it's highly rated and it deserves it.

Know Dundee, but not chippy quality one vs another and so trusted TA. This place got good reports but goodness knows why..... The fish was curiously dry and flaky with soggy batter. In fact, it tasted frozen though I can't be certain. The chips again tasted dry. Very odd and not at all tasty. A waste of money. Avoid and head to the Silvery Tay

Excellent onion rings and halloumi. Fish was great, as was the chicken breast. Both came with masses of chips. Excellent food, cooked to order. Top marks

Just got dressed fish supper and mushy peas fish tasteless chips tasteless mushy peas no idea what they taste of won't be back

we ordered 2 x fish, chips, onion rings and breaded mushrooms. I understand that not everything has to be perfect, but that everything was un-eatable and is a total failure. I will start with the onion rings that were burnt, I tried 2 and they went to the bin right away. Then mushrooms in breadcrumbs, same problem, breadcrumbs were burnt. I think they were made earlier and then to reheat them they went back to the fryer but it was impossible to eat ... they also went to the bin. The fish was tasteless at all, not even the salt was added. Fries also without salt. We ate half the fish because it was impossible to eat more and a packet of fries, the rest of the food went to the bin. I ordered it for the first time and I will definitely not order again! It's a lot good places to eat in Dundee but not here...

I ordered haggis don't like the portion size and it was very dry then I ordered the fish and my knife could not get through the batter

My girlfriend ordered online at 6pm . Didn’t receive order till 8-05 . 2 hours later . Phoned them twice and all you got was we are busy . It was a joke . Wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone. Don’t care . Not interested. And they make out it’s not there fault.

Food is always great but put in an order at 6.50 and is now 8-55 and still not here. Called to be told it's a 2 hour waiting time but wasn't told that when ordering. Still waiting.

Reasonably priced, good quality and quick service. It's a bit of a drag having to go outside to wait, but can't blame them for that.

First time using this shop . . . And the last! Whilst the white pudding supper was “OK”, was a little bit more expensive than other Dundee chippers. (Not much). Taste wise - have had better. Main concern was with regards to COVID safety. - none of the staff were wearing face coverings. - no screens in place. - each of the apparent delivery drivers who appeared also was without face coverings. - cash only - on top of everything else did not offer contactless payment or even credit/debit. Have to walk to the back of the shop to order. past everyone waiting to collect. Staff seemed fine, and there were quite a few of them. Food cooked to order so bit of a delay. But overall not impressed.

Amazing food and wonderful staff. So helpful during lockdown delivering wee treats to my elderly aunt and uncle!

No soy un amante de la comida de la tienda de papas fritas (probablemente no estoy demasiado interesado en la masa) y nunca lo he sido. Mis experiencias aquí se limitan a las cenas de pescado, maltratadas y empanadas. He sido convertido en pescado rebozado aquí (generalmente prefiero empanado) porque es increíble: la masa es ligera y crujiente y el pescado es carnoso y encantador. Las picaduras ligeras son de gran valor y perfectas para el apetito más pequeño, aunque es una porción completa de chips que obtienes. Como todo está recién cocinado, las patatas fritas son increíbles: siempre me sorprende lo mucho que las disfruto, ya que normalmente no soy fanático. Me gustaría probar otras cosas tan a menudo que veo cosas que se ven geniales pero que no puedo ver más allá de la cena de pescado en este momento. El personal es amable y acogedor también, chico delgado en el mostrador siempre pregunta cómo estás, que es agradable.

Found this chippy a week or two ago. Our new favourite. First time round we got white pudding and chips which was class. Tonight the macaroni and burger. Omg please try these. Defo be back.

A little bit of a wait ... Things cooked freshly. Delicious fish and chips ... Light batter and haddock as claimed (partner is a fishmonger) with well cooked chips .. crisp edges.. soft innards and good crispy bits in the bottom of the environmentally friendly packaging.

Best thing here is the batter they use, so light and crispy so their fritters are great! Just wish they would use a better quality sausage with more meat less fat content. Also fish is good but 9 times out of 10 it's overcooked, so a little less time and it would be perfect! Good service.

Probably the best chippy I've ever had. I was actually going to get a Chinese but the place was closed so I came in here to get a chip steak supper and it was absolutely brilliant. Everything was so fresh, maybe the best chips I've ever had. I did have to wait about 10 mins but it was well worth the wait as it was fresh and delicious. Will absolutely B back!
