The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

All I can do is comment as I find. Pleasant staff, excellent service and delicious fish & chips. Came on here to review and was really surprised to see the negativity.

Absolutely brilliant in all respects

I was really looking forward to some award winning fish and chips at this fish and chip shop. However when we got there the fish and chip shop was closed and there was a mobile fish and chip shop outside the Angel Inn which appeared to belong to them. The fish was freshly cooked but the chips were barely lukewarm and the peas were cold. The fact that they put the pots of peas on the counter straight away while waiting for the fish to be cooked should have warned me. We were only staying two minutes away but by the time we drove to our rental the supper was ruined in fact I think it was cold before it was served to us. It’s really spoilt our evening.

Purchased small egg fried rice. Small chips and carton of curry. £7? Even though the small egg fried rice is £3, so £4 for the chips and curry. Got it home, egg fried rice was freezing, had to put it in the microwave. Chips were like mash.

Awful food...rice missing from order...who has curry without rice?? Chicken tikka kebab was dry hard and cold, naan was stone cold with rock hard edges, chips were cold hard sharp bits of spud!! Do not waste your money here...this was my second time.."giving it a go" but honestly it's such a waste of money

Had fish and chips from here and it was delicious packed with flavour and fresh fish. Batter was great crispy but not too dry and the fish had flavour, chips were tasty and perfectly cooked. I was brought up eating fish and chips from a seaside town so no my food and I was a chef for over 35 years so well experienced in food. Great fish and chips and great value for money go check it out now …..thanks guys

Shocking, how can food be burnt but cold. It's disgusting too. Could not each kebab. Thrown in Bin. My children tried to eat the wraps but couldn't, now one of them is feeling really ill. Will be sending complait to health officials shortly. They offered me a partial refund. What a Joke. Stay well clear!!!!!!!

I bought fish and chips in there last night. I live five minutes from there Tom I got home. The fish was cold. The chips was cold and the curry sauce was lumpy. I won’t be using that shop again.

Absolutely horrible food. The worst fish and chips I have ever tasted. Hardly any fish and very dry like it was cooked hours ago and reheated. I will never return although it’s very local to me. Disgusting please do not waste your money.

I haven't been here for a while and the service and food quality has gone down hill dramatically - I won't be coming back anytime soon!!!
