Marino's Fish & Chips Take Away in Sevenoaks

Decided to visit upon recommendation to get fish and chips for the family. I can hand on heart say this was by far the worst takeaway I've ever had. The food was honestly disgusting. The 'large' piece of cod (for £9) was soggy and tasted awful. Saveloys were inedible and chips barely passable. I know there will be people who like this place however I'm not one of them and never leave reviews as I'm not fussed with this kind of thing but think I should share my awful experience. Owner (or one of the workers) friendly enough but I visited for a tasty fresh meal & that's certainly not what I got. Sorry but don't waste your money. Very very disappointing.

Advertises being open on Sunday from 12 - 9pm. We visited around 5.30 and it was shut. Really inconvenient on a Sunday to rethink supper.

Great tradition fish and chips with everything you would expect on the menu including Spam fritters! Friendly staff and usually call in on my way home from town.

Very friendly service, chatty and welcoming, nice fish and chips, the batter was a bit soggy but the fish was plentiful and very tasty (cod), nice chips and cod roe and sausage in batter, first time visit and will make this a regular now.

Such friendly people who cooked all our fish freshly for us. The chips were very nice, and the portions generous. The batter was tasty and the cod was really good quality. We had the small cod but they were plenty big enough. Will definitely go back again.

Everytime I come in it's like they are old friends. Warm, welcoming and the food is what you would expect from a chip shop.
