Eaton Place Fish Shop in Rushcliffe

Walked in the shop at the same time as another customer, there were 3 staff, 2 were talking to a guy who had already ordered and was being served and the other was busy putting an order togeather no one acknowledged either of us, we stood and waited a while eventually they took her order, another staff member walked out 4 staff still no one asks for my order I said out loud can i order and they ignored me so i waited a while longer and left to go to the other chip shop, who despite having a que managed to serve me very quickly. I'm still scratching my head.

Had fish chips and mushy peas. Called in at tea time. Fish was dreadful like it was cooked 3 days before, cold, dry and tastless. (Left over from lunch maybe). Enough chips to feed an Army. Very dissapointed, won't go back again.

Staff were friendly and the place was clean but the chips were soggy, fish was so over cooked it was hard around the edges also the peas had zero taste. Visited on a Saturday evening so absolutely no excuse. All in all very disappointing.

I thought I would try something different because I was in a rush and happened to be passing by but I did not enjoy the fish as it was not a traditional cod taste, batter was dry - I think the fish was overly cooked, the peas were ok but overall, Bingham Fish Bar is a better quality Chippy that delivers and more menu options

Had a bus ride to Bingham had a walk round while i was there i had my dinner called in Eaton place for fish & chips the place was vary clean the staff was vary helpful i will go back again!.

Fried Chicken is delicious! It was tender and juicy!! Chips are really tasty. Manager Emma was so helpful and made me feel welcome.

Fish batter is light and not greasy, chips are perfect. Southern fried chicken also very tasty. Quality food at low chippy prices. I am now a regular. Sometimes the service could be slightly faster, but would strongly recommend to anyone.

Can’t recommend this place enough , best in the area , the staff are super friendly & the food it’s quality, most definitely recommend

Well what can I say other than Poor Cold and I mean cold mushy peas Fish dry Chips ok ish Will I return Nope No excuse for cold food

Been using this Fish shop for the past several years. Recently however the high standards have fallen. My past three orders have served up two overcooked dry fish and finally today a fish that smelled ‘off’. Sorry, I’ve given the benefit of the doubt these last few months but I shall take my custom elsewhere in future.

First day of new owners. Pure white skinless cod. Fluffy batter. Lots of brown tasty chip's. Fish cooked to order. Still full up 3 hours later. Will be using all the time now. Fabulous staff.

Small local chip shop with small seating area, nothing elaborate basic but adequate I had large fish, chips and gravy with a drink £10.60 excellent fish and nice chips not greasy but crisp and good. Unpretentious but pleasant staff and well busy will visit again
