The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

I have visited many fish and chip shops across the UK, from Aberdeen to Southend via Blackpool and many places in between. Fish Out serve just about the best fish and chips I have ever had. The chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was wonderfully fresh and coated in an excellent light batter. Service was great, the two guys running the place were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will certainly visit again when next in the area.

I went there with my family. The staff are very hospitable with a very big warm smile. The environment is neat and decent and the food delicious. I had a plate of fish and chips with curry sauc.

Absolutely shocking fish n chips, very pale soggy chips, and tasteless battered fish. Had to put most of it in the bin.

Never had deep fried haggis bite before. They were very nice. Ideal hangover food

My Dad and I were in Halifax today and desperate for some excellent Yorkshire fish and chips. I saw the reviews on trip advisor of the Stretchgate Fisheries and so we raced over. Not only were the fish and chips perfect (beautiful fish in a delicate batter) but also Donna and her Mum were so friendly. I would rate today's food as amongst the top 10 fish and chips I've ever had. My Dad loved them too. Highly recommended.... we'll definitely be back!

Chips like my dad used to make. Tastiest chips anywhere in the uk. Fish was good the batter is lovely and crisp. A little dark coloured for some but I would say absolutely spot on for me. Great portions too
