Plymstock fish bar is my local, for 28 years. Julie, the fryer, has been there ever since I been going there. The food is consistent, but unfortunately, last night's fish, one piece was very chewy like it had been there under the light for a long time.

I’ve been having deliveries from here for years and previously been good. Last time I ordered pizza and I think the delivery guy had it on its side as it was squashed up on the side. Today I had a pizza delivery and it tastes really bad. Some of it isn’t cooked and the bottom of the base has green mold on it. So very disappointing

I wrote a glowing review four yeas ago after our first delivery from Harlees Amesbury. Over the following two years we had several equally good meals but tonigh was our first meal from Harlees for some time so we were really looking forward to it. Sorry to say it was the worst fish and chips we have ever had. The chips were hard and the fish appeared huge but it turned out to be mostly soggy batter. Regrettably we will not risk orderng again. Harlees you have definately deteriorated and to think I have always recommended you but sadly no longer.

I found the quality was poor for the fish and chips. Fish was OK batter to thin and the chips with lots of little scraps in with them. The cost is also the most expensive we have paid for fish and chips in Swindon . Staff are nice though and polight. We will not be going there again I'm afraid .

Sunday morning 9th January and we were awaiting the departure of our flight to Lanzarote from Exeter Airport. This cafe is located on the ground floor of the departure lounge and was the only catering facility open at the Airport. We ordered and paid for two Flat whites which were £2.70 each. Considering they were dispensed from a machine it took a long time to get our coffees. A bit disappointing that they were served in paper cups There was limited food here, which included croissants, pain and chocolat, crips and a bit more. No alcohol was on sale here.

My wife and I were invited out to lunch at the Sandbanks Hotel in Poole yesterday. The main restaurant was closed so we three seated ourselves in the outside snack bar area. There was not a great choice but the food was said to be Italian and run by Italians, and having been to that country expected to be served a good standard of food. This was absolutely not the case. We ordered two box salads - one chicken and chorizo and the other a smoked salmon nicoise, and also a pizza. The two salad boxes were about 150mm square and contained mostly lettuce and tomato - the lady who had the chicken said the chicken pieces were so small she could hardly see them. I had the pizza, and because I was hungry I did try to eat it - but had to leave about half. I would compare it to an inferior supermarkey pizza. I have had pizzas in Naples at a quarter the price and they have been far superior. Added to the food were a J2o orange, a 250ml glass of wine and one beer. The total cost £62.00! We left still hungry and went to an Italian restaurant in Westbourne a couple of hours later, and for about the same price we had seafood risotto, sirloin steak and sea bass in a champagne sauce along with the same drinks. It does not take an expert in Maths to work out who is giving value for money! A complaint was made at the time, and to be fair both the kitchen and the hotel manager offered a refund - which was declined, as the point of the complaint was not to get money back but to highlight what was thought to be an unacceptable situation. The place looks lovely with great views over the beach and sea, but it is an "eatery" not a viewing platform. We obviously would never lunch there again - but we all felt that they are serving inferior food at inflated prices. It is a shame as it denegrates the overall reputation of this Hotel. If you charge top prices you should serve top quality food.

Me rindo. Parece que solo puede molestarse en aparecer si tiene muchas reservas, y no te llama para decirte que no puede molestarse en abrir para tu comida reservada. Dos de cada 4 no es suficiente. No volveremos a ir allí. No es así como trata a sus clientes cuando han reservado previamente. . Vergonzoso.

Sea Bass Fish and Chips is a delightful spot for anyone looking to enjoy traditional British fish and chips. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is diverse, offering not only fish and chips but also burgers, pies, and a variety of other dishes. I tried the Southern Fried Chicken alongside cheese chips, and it was a delicious alternative for those who want something different. The staff at Sea Bass Fish and Chips are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant customer service experience. The overall quality of the food and service makes it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal.

Great location and views. Nice terrace but music a little loud - should be in the background and not forcing you to shout over it. Served quickly at the bar. Great for people watching and dog friendly
