The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South West

Beautiful food (not including dessert which was absolutely not worth £7.50. It was teeny). Atmosphere was great, the restaurant is lovely and quirky. Although the toilet was a bit grim and in need of a clean. Service was really hit and miss unfortunately. Whilst the restaurant is small, with not many tables to serve, the two waiters seemed to be really struggling to keep up. We had to repeat orders as things were made quite complicated by the waiter. Prices were quite high for the portion sizes, but this is usually the case with small plates/sea food in the UK!

Really excellent food and drinks, all served incredibly well. The specials deal on a Wednesday and Thursday night is excellent value and I'd certainly recommend!

Fab, fab, fab. Went for lunch today. Lobster (caught that day just around the headland), chips, salad and corn 🌽. Absolutely perfect. Owner and staff so friendly and accommodating. Location is superb. Wine/beer/drinks menu extensive. Can't recommend it enough.

The best 40th birthday meal! Oysters were exquisite, king prawns and crab melt in your mouth, fantastic atmosphere and top class service! Strongly recommend this place!

We came again last (Thursday) as usual very nice time and service. Ordered a bottle of Falanghina as we did last time from menu at £22 which we charged last time. Looking at bill when got home you charged £27.60 last night and looking at web site it’s priced at £23? Prices should not differ. If price on menu is wrong people should be told when ordering. Maybe can clarify and get this consistent. Have E mailed but no response 🤷‍♂️

We have always had a wonderful experience staying here and this time matched up once again! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we always feel this is home-from-home 🙂 The food - amazing as usual - enjoyed while drinking in the fabulous views across to Appledore Cannot wait for our next visit at the end of the year.

I love visiting this chippy. Run by nice people and the portion sizes are great. Jumbo Cod and large chips is enough for 2 people.

A brilliant traditional seaside cafe, clean with excellent fresh food! Lovely breakfast.

Googled a pub grub for lunch. This was b3st one offering our taste in foods. Absolutely stunning...loved it we shared a meat barbecue tray plus fries. Just perfect for light lunch. Brisket. Sausage. Pork rib. Pickles corn bread and fries. It was just brilliant 👏 well done. Definitely recommend and come again asap. Thank u all. .

Bloody lovely well priced the guy is very friendly and is nice to have a chat with and cooks it fresh when you walk through the door. the fish and chips are so miost and jucy

What a super special place, we had a wonderful meal, the highlights for us being the lobster and crispy lemon sole, though it’s hard to choose your favourites when each dish is 10/10!! The staff were very attentive and we loved the atmosphere. We will absolutely be coming back for our next trip!

We got a great seat sheltered from the wind and watched the sea and ate delicious food! Great service, clearly spoken friendly staff who knew the menu well. We visited on a whim and were made up!
