Have just learned that Sea Fever is now permanently closed. To say I am gutted is an understatement, we have been there many times and each meal was absolutely superb, it was our main reason for visiting Bude from Hertfordshire, we would stay 2 nights and eat there on both of them.

Booked online excellent service confirmations etc .. on arrival was greeted by name which was a nice touch , even though it was only our third visit. We sat in the conservatory at the front but inside looked cosy and there is a bar area. There is a lunchtime special but we just chose what we fancied. Croquettes with truffle , mussels with cider chorizo and leek (delicious) calamari , albodingos (special) , patatas bravas . Nice wine ,good views ,excellent service .

Menús más pequeños significa que la comida se cocinará fresca por encargo. Pero no estamos aquí por las ostras. En su lugar elegimos Vieiras. Vieiras de miel de Miso Cocinado en mantequilla de ajo casera, servido con masa madre. Luego tuvimos langostinos al estilo asiático. Cocinado en una mantequilla de ajo casera y servido con masa madre. Estos eran tan frescos y suculentos. Se puede decir que todos los mariscos se obtienen localmente. Termidor de cangrejo, cocinado en una salsa de queso cremoso y resistente. Servido con pan y crostini. Esto era tan morisco que casi pedimos otro. If you want fresh you aren’t getting much fresher, unless you are getting up early and on the boats with these guys. I bough a pot each of freshly cooked, Mussels, Cockles and Lobster from the friendly lady and seasoned them with the available salt, pepper, vinegar and hot sauce. I then spent the next 15 mins wandering the beach and the rock pools with my 4 yr old and enjoying the tastes of the sea. Best shellfish I’ve had this year. The same shellfish are available for £88 a plate in the nearby Nathan outlaw cafe. Today I appreciated the simple pleasures with less swearing involved in the prep and for just over a tenner.

Have eaten here multiple times and it’s been 10/10 ever time, we both had the chicken kebab last night and was one of the best takeaways I’ve ever had. Highly recommended..

The best seafood I’ve ever had in Lyme Regis - including Mark Hicks! Brilliant, charming, knowledgeable service and atmosphere and the food was so good we came back the next night!! These two young talented people deserve their own restaurant NOW!! ❤️

A great little spot for some fabulous seafood. My son and his friend shared some hot scampi and calamari which were beautifully cooked and presented with wedges and salad. My friend also sampled the cold mussels which she said were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the vendor who oozed personality and was very welcoming. We will be adding it to our list of places to visit on our annual trek to Weston Super Mare.
