Elseafood in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Decided to drop by for a late lunch while out shopping. Had Fish and Chips and we both agreed it was superb. Sitting outside on an autumn day was great. Service friendly and spot on. Made a shopping day perfect!!!!

Hi I visited this taps bar yesterday late afternoon the food was awesome 👌 I after to say the service was great very friendly lookly the sun was shining so it was nice sitting out side 😊 it wasn't to expensive and would definitely recommend this place the sea food is delicious ill be back 😋

We had the most sumptuous and delicious meal here one Saturday lunchtime in Truro. Endless courses all different flavours and textures all beautifully cooked and presented would highly recommend this for any meal

We had crab meat sandwiches, chili clams and mussels for lunch. All were tasty and fresh. Great service and friendly staff.

We are locals who stopped off for a spot of lunch on the waterside and beautiful piazza. The weather was glorious and it really felt like we were on holiday. We had a selection of tapas which were all amazing, well presented and really tasty. My partner had oysters which were very big and of excellent quality. The sides to go with them were also excellent. We had our 19month old with us too and it was nice that he had space to move around if he wanted to. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent for lunch, brunch and evening crunch. Welcoming staff, efficient service and fabulous food. Will go again , hoping that the aubergine croquettes are available. Well worth a visit.

Spur of the moment late lunch after recommendation. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We had tapas, which was fabulous. but had envy of incredible looking lobster and seafood platters others were enjoying. Crab tortellini, gazpacho and Serrano ham croquettes absolutely top notch. Only quibble was slow and slightly vague service, but it didn’t impact on our enjoyment and it was busy even for mid afternoon. Great addition to places to eat in Truro.

Always passing this place on the end of the piazza and thought let's have a light breakfast and call in for lunch. My wife is not a sea food person so chose the breaded cheese and I chose the loaded crab fries. Great table service with friendly staff food arrived hot, really good portion size with me struggling to finish all of it Would definitely call in again Tony and Shelley

My partner and I were looking for a seafood restaurant and stumbled across this little place at the end of the square. Has only outdoor seating but has a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and the seafood was exquiste. My partner got the loaded crab fries and I treated myself to a lobster. We also got the trio oyster - all dishes were presented beautifully. We are not locals and I have personally always wanted to eat seafood in Cornwall (as part of my bucket list) - glad to say this was the place that ticked it off! Would definitely visit again when we're back in Truro!

A fantastic find! Such a wonderful food selection including an excellent range of vegetarian dishes. We selected five tapas dishes to share and all top notch.. All freshly made and deliciously tasty, especially when herbs are cut from the kitchen garden tubs. Light as a feather batter coated the salt and pepper squid with a tasty chilli dip served in a oyster shell. The courgette and hazelnut salad was wonderfully dressed and the smoked haddock and Gruyère cheese croquettes were a delight. Such friendly staff. Definitely returning.

A lovely evening had here this evening. Very friendly and attentive staff, making sure we were enjoying the evening. A good choice of food and beverages on offer. My partner and I are not from the area, and were just out for a walk around Truro, when we decided to stop here. It is a lovely outdoor area with a nice atmosphere where we had a few drinks and Tapas. The customer service from Rob and the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

Delicious food, I had 2 tapas dishes and some fries, great amount for lunch. Staff were friendly. Dudes came out at different times for our group of friends, but all was super fresh, so not a problem! Live in Truro and will be a regular visitor!

Friendly service, took a little time getting served but everything is cooked fresh. Well worth the wait.

We enjoyed the food but we were told the Antipasti dish included only Parmesan after we enquired which cheeses were included and specifically mentioned we don’t like blue cheese. It came with a tiny portion of Parmesan amongst other mild cheeses which included blue cheese. Also the dish was missing elements that we needed to ask for after the fact. The service throughout was slow due to the fact they were short-staffed (no fault of the servers). Apart from this, we enjoyed all of our other dishes.

Stopped for iced coffee and ice creams Superb service from young man . Will be back for food/drink menu , prices very reasonable and food looked amazing 🤩 plus good choice of local drinks and they do cocktails… am in heaven

If your in Truro you must eat here! The seafood Tapas is absolutely amazing! The King prawns where huge don't miss eating here!

It was birthday treat in May and we have been back many times since, both during the day and in the evening. Quality seafood and tapas, we think we have tried almost everything now and the fish and chips are delicious too. Staff are lovely...

It might sound surprising but it is really hard to find great seafood in Cornwall. Since discovering Elseafood last week I have been back last night and plan on going again this evening.
