Strandfield Grill in North Devon

We have always had a wonderful experience staying here and this time matched up once again! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we always feel this is home-from-home 🙂 The food - amazing as usual - enjoyed while drinking in the fabulous views across to Appledore Cannot wait for our next visit at the end of the year.

We have been enjoying breaks at The Commodore hotel for some years now. Since the emergence of The Strandfield Grill within the hotel, the food is much improved - and is one of the reasons for our regular stays. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, making your stay just perfect. This time the weather was very kind too - icing on the cake! I have added samples of the food we enjoyed so much.

The a la carte is always delicious with good varied wine menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Both dinner ( good choices in the menus) and breakfast was superb, great Sirloin Steak on one evening. All the food freshly prepared with very friendly and attentive service. Added bonus of lovely views across the water from our table.

The view from here is outstanding and the food is of the style you would expect at a family hotel which takes pride in serving high quality food. Very friendly team here and will be back again.

Te grill is part of the Commodore Hotel. The change took place appx eighteen month ago. The grill has transformed the old dining room. Its bright and a very plesant place to eat. a new chef has also helped. We stayed for a long weekend .

The Standfield Grill is inside the Commodore Hotel, ensure you book for breakfast lunch or dinner. I had all three whilst staying there and they were all great, especially the lobster!
