only use this fish & chip takeaway with friends as good, hot, quality food & lovely friendly staff, battered sausage popular with us as always good, need to keep eye on their prices as starting to get quite high

Amazing fish and chips, really glad I discovered this place. The food was up there with the very best I have ever had out of the countless chip shops I have tried up and down the country. Got to be the best in Reading and probably Berkshire too. Expertly cooked to order with quality ingredients getting every aspect just right. Light, crisp batter with tender fresh cod inside with the best chips I have had in a very long time - chunky thick cut, nice golden brown colour, crisp on the outside and soft potato inside. Both the fish and the chips were well drained and not greasy. Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.10. Not the cheapest but worth every penny and nice large portion sizes. The food was well packed in a cardboard box so stayed warm and didn’t go soggy at all before eating. The shop looks a bit run down on the outside and isn’t in the nicest part of town, but don’t let that put you off, it’s very clean inside and has 5/5 food hygiene rating. Friendly service and the usual menu choices. This is one of those places that looks like it hasn’t changed in decades, but with food that good there is nothing that needs changing! Highly recommended, I will definitely be back. Cannot fault them, wish it was my local!

The best fish and chips in the whole of Hastings & St Leonards! So so delicious and huge huge chip portions. Delicious delicious!

This has to be the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked fresh while we waited and it was well worth the wait. Everything was cooked to perfection. I don’t live in the area but will definitely go back when I am visiting Shoreham. My son was so impressed he is going to take his partner there and stay in the B&B across the road. 10 out of 10

This meal will go down as one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. A wonderful meal to digest in my stomach with all my Latic acid and other bodily fluids. I was sitting at home and it was getting late, I thought, what a good time it was to have sullys fish and chips. And I must say I wasn’t disappointed another outstanding meal. The crisp chips a joy to eat. The history of Sullys is remarkable and must go down as one of the best hero stories ever recorded.

AMAZING fresh food!! Very friendly staff, and great value for money! Portion sizes are huge. This place was recommended to me by many friends and family, I’m so glad I made a visit myself. Will definitely be back. Best chippy in Maidstone! 😊

I visit this fish shop at least three times a year (would be more if I lived closer!). Always assured of a warm welcome and friendly banter with the guys whilst purchasing excellent fresh fish. Quality is always high with the prices very good. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here to prepare. Highly recommended. Will return soon. Caroline

Our daughter is coeliac and was excited to finally have fish and chips as she has missed them the last 2 years. Lovely food, lovely service, great family run business, definitely worth a visit if you here! They offer a vegan menu too.. Thankyou shakey shakey x

Food - out of this world. As a table next to us said “Dream food” and I agree with this statement! Service- outsourcing. Server was welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely helpful but not interfering. Visiting Margate this place is must to go and reservation recommended. We were lucky to get a table. Can tell this place is very popular and I myself will definitely going to come back.

We came for a couple of drinks on date night in the new cocktail lounge, the staff were so friendly, the cocktails were amazing. The Don Julio Margarita is to die for!! Great place will come again
