Shoreham Fish Bar in Adur

This has to be the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked fresh while we waited and it was well worth the wait. Everything was cooked to perfection. I don’t live in the area but will definitely go back when I am visiting Shoreham. My son was so impressed he is going to take his partner there and stay in the B&B across the road. 10 out of 10

Best fried fish we have had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, large portion of fish was very large as were the chips. Very good value for the price. Spotless place and good service from the staff.

We ordered from Shoreham Fish Bar for the first time and through FoodX. The food took around 50 minutes to arrive when selecting ASAP. Thankfully the food was still warm but we paid £1.70 for a pot of sauce which didn’t come. The jumbo sausage was a regular size, and the “large cheesy chips” was also an underwhelming portion size. We won’t bother calling back for a refund of missing sauce - just won’t bother ordering again as there’s plenty of competitors with better value for money and good food.

Me and my husband order from these guys once a week, may even be times where we’ve ordered twice in a week 🙈 🐷 I’m a massive foodie and in my opinion they make the greatest homemade chicken fillet burgers I have EVER tried and I’ve tried a lot. Cheesy chips absolutely banging. I’ve also tried their fish which my daughter will usually get and just wow, there is honestly never any faults. Delivery always early or on time, never late. As I write this I’m just finishing off my cheesy chips now. Keep doing what you’re doing guys because you’re honestly amazing and you make my house happy 😊 I’ve been to many fish and chip shops and this is by far the best. Best in Shoreham, best in Sussex, best anywhere.

Best fish and chip shop I’ve been too. Friendly staff, tasty food, great portions and banging halloumi fries. Highly recommend it!

Delivery was on time, the food was hot and the fish & chips were the best ever! Would recommend any day.

Great fish and chips, the best we have eaten. Our delivery was with Deliveroo who also delivered promptly and efficiently. There was however a problem with the review I tried to give from the Deliveroo notification. I wanted to give 5 stars but hit 1 star thinking I then hit the other 4 but it took it to be 1 star which upset me immensely as I wanted to give a 5 star review for everything. Phoned the Fish Bar but they could not help me but gave me the number for Deliveroo. Tried phoning them but when I explained politely what had happened and how I had not been able to find a 'back' button to go back on survey he rudely put the phone down on me. Such a shame as it spoilt a truly excellent experience for both meal and delivery. We will of course return for a further feast but I will be far more knowledgeable next time using the app. This was the first time I had ordered food from any of the delivery services.

Excellent seafood, polite staff and very clean premises. Crispy batter and tender chips, best in the Shoreham, Hove and Brighton area.

Excellent quality. Fish here is fresh, beautifully cooked, not oily. Great portion size. Fast, efficient, friendly service. A great addition to Shoreham.

Amazing fish and chips. Also the chicken nougats were great to. We ordered 6.00 takeaway and there was no waiting they were ready for us. Just great.

Ordered in advance for a large group (43 meals!) The food was ready on time to be collected, all individually wrapped & labelled and piping hot! Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff could not have been more helpful - carrying the food to the car and making sure we had everything we needed. We'll 100% be using you again! Thank you!

By far and away the best fish and chips in Shoreham. Great choice with scampi amongst the stars and tasty tender calamari also on offer. The fish is the best I’ve ever had and the chips are mountainous. Superb service as well! Difficult to fault.

Excellent fish supper takeaway (burgers available too) Portions were huge. Cooked to order so piping hot when got home. Staff friendly.
