Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst on holiday, we had a gorgeous meal in a fabulous setting. Menu was fantastic, I could’ve eaten it all! Would definitely return if in the area again. Really great for all the family.

This restaurant never fails to deliver. Excellent service, beautiful food, a lovely clean restaurant and toilets. Basicly outstanding. And its dog friendly.

Great food and lovely service. Went as a group of 8 and had a lovely evening. Everyone’s food was tasty and considering the quality it was very reasonably priced. Would recommend and will return.

Had a fabulous meal at The Pickled Herring, everything was top class. Was a bit more money than average pub but the food and service were both excellent. My roast beef was about the best I’ve had in any pub or restaurant ever. Fantastic. Look forward to returning!

On my arrival I experienced the most welcoming staff who took care of all my needs. The service provided was top class and extremely professional. My starter was divine with plenty of extras . Staff were so accommodating to all my requests. I opted for the Hake with crispy battered pieces as my main and was delighted with my meal. This was the best piece of fish I d ever tasted and the texture was amazing. Thank you I feel blessed and will definitely book again soon.

Best scampi and chips I have had in a while. The chips were crispy but not greasy. They are served in a card box that means any grease that would be there is soaked up. Scampi was really nice and well cooked. Nicely salted with just enough vinegar. I had a small portion of chips that was more than adequate. There are some parking spaces nearby to pop in and get your chips and plenty of good spots to drive and look out to sea while eating them.

55 Newington RoadFirst time at newington fish bar despite living in thanet all my life, went with family . Shop and eating area extremely clean, service was excellent as we ate in. I think summer was staff member but apologise if incorrect. Fish and chips top notch, I work with food as my job as a food safety advisor and nice to see fish battered as it should be. Will I return absolutely yes.

4-5 Westcliff Arcade, Ramsgate CT11 8LH EnglandRecently celebrated our Nan’s 80th, and this being one of her favourite restaurants we had to enquire, the restaurant is not open on the date of her birthday but the owner/chef was so honoured he opened it up for this occasion, not only did they go above and beyond the food was absolutely sensational, the waitresses were so attentive and polite and we could not have been more grateful for such a lovely evening ❤️
